In this story Sammy introduces his good friend Louie Milito who is dying to be a made man. He tells us the story about how he got Louie made, but we learn later on that Sammy also has him taken out

podcast. It's about the day Igot made to become a made member in
the Gambino family. Quite a fewguys knew I was headed that day to
become a made guy. Frankie Dachico, Frankie Luchico's father, Boozy, because
he was in Tito's crew. Meand Tito's son Charlie Boy were going at

the same time to be made.We went to a guy, Frank the
Wapp, his house in Brooklyn.It was set to be done. I
think they were making ten guys thatday. Louis Bolito, my good friend,
knew what was happening as well.It wasn't a made guy, so

he couldn't really be in the loop, but he did work already and he
was due to become the may guy. He was with the old man Johnny
Rizzo. You heard his name awhole bunch of times, so he was
real happy for me, and Ithink it was one of the best days

of my life. I'm not goingto go through the whole ceremony. I'll
do that in my podcast. ButI went to this house and we got
made, me and Charlie Boy andafter it was done, the ceremony was
done, we got in Tito's carand we drove back to Tito's club and

Boozy came over, Frank and Chicocame over. Louis was on the side
a little bit again, he's notin that loop, and Tato said,
saving the bowl. So I'm bigan oustra meaning a maid member. He
said it Boozy is a friend ofours. Said the same thing about Frankie,

Na Chico. We hugged, wekissed. It was beautiful. Johnny
Rizzo was there and he congratulated meas well. Now I did a lot
of things. There's a lot ofstories that his name pops up in.
I did a lot of things withhim, and I was super excited.

After a while, we took avery short walk in the street, me,
Tato and Johnny Rizzo Senior, andTato said, do you have anybody
that you're going to propose to becomea friend of ours? And I was

like a little puppy because I waswaiting. Any minute he would have probably
said his son, and of courseLouie Melito who did a lot of things
and really wanted to become a madeguy. And Rizzo shocked me. He
said, no, Tatto, no, everyone around me is a piece of

shit, including my son. Iwas completely thrown back by that answer.
I couldn't even believe it. Ialmost said something, but it really wasn't
my place to say anything or soI just shut my mouth. And a

little while later we all separated andLouie Melito was waiting for me, and
he came in. He gave mea hug and a kiss, and you
know, how was it? Isaid, it was beautiful, Louis,
it was a beautiful thing. Iwas a little hopper from what I had
just heard. And he asked me, did they talk about me? Did

they mention me? I couldn't evenanswer him. First of all, at
this point I took the oath.These things a private They're not meant for

He said, you can't come,but you'll wait here by the club,
just like they waited for you.I got Louis called him up, said
Louie, tomorrow, you got anappointment, wear a suit, shirt tie,

meet me. I'll come to theclub with you. You gotta go
somewhere with toddo He knew, Couldyou talk to me? No, no,
just go with the old man.He grabbed me, hugged me,
kissed me. I'm getting emotional thinkingabout this and thinking about this story because

later on in life a lot ofthings changed, But right now, I'll
stay with this story. He wentthere and I waited for him to come
back, but I knew how longit would be. I drove around the
neighborhood a little bit to go tomeet somebody, pick up a few dollars,

and there was the old man,Johnny Rizzo standing on the corner.
There was a club. It wasa gay club. He owned it,
so sometimes he would be there.He didn't go in and run it or
do anything like that, but hewas around that place. He would meet
people there, sometimes not into place, but outside. Never he was outside

standing with three or four guys.And I thought to myself, while he's
standing in there talking with them guys, his guy, his main guy,
is being made. I went backto the club Title's Club to wait for
Louie to get back. Sure enough, for a couple hours went by and

Louie Molito came back and Tyler introducedLouis to me as I'll make an Austra
meaning a mag guy. We hugged, we kissed. He says, Sammy,
I owe you. You don't ownme nothing. You don't owe me

earned it. He said, Whatam I going to say to the old

we drove there. He was excited. On the way there. I
told him, why'd you want tothank me after I became a friend?

we started walking across the street.We got the Rizzo. There was
another three or four guys standing themaround him. Rizzo part of himself from
those guys walked over. Then't Louise'sguide and go to him. He came
to me and that's goes. We'reboth friends, we're both made members.
And he shook my hand and theyshook his head real hard, and I

looked at Louis and they said,John, Louis is a Meganostra. Louis,
John is a Meganostra. His eyeswere us big. Couldn't believe that
his right hand in became a friend, became a mag guy. But he

was a classy guy. Rizzlt Ialways liked him. And he said,
welcome aboard, Louis, you deserveit. We stayed a little while and
we left. We were going togo to Nathan's and have some hot dogs.
And he said, Bro, you'rethe devil. Bro. I looked

at him. I'm the devil,A good devil. I would have never
got made, title told me,I would have never got made with that
