On Outside 50's Ep30 we talked with Katie Klatt a Sacramento Sun, San Francisco Iron Maiden, Vice Captain of the USA Freedom, a Melbourne Uni Mugar and now a potential Boston Lady Demon.
Katie was one of the first U.S. women to travel to Australia to try and make it in the AFLW. Since then, she's back in the States obtaining her Master's Degree at Harvard while looking to take a more relaxed approach to the game.
The women's game has grown so much over the years, and Katie loves seeing the continual improvement of competition. Katie recommends women players to take the game seriously if they want to compete in Australia and also to fine tune and really work on basic skills.
While in Boston, Katie is likely to connect with the Boston Demons to train which will be her third USAFL club, but overall is just looking forward to being back on the field like the rest of us during these COVID times.
