Since launching her brand in 2013, Carter has blended old-school craftsmanship with cutting-edge techniques. She apprenticed under an 85-year-old master jeweler who taught her everything from intake to customer care the traditional way—skills she still uses today, even as she experiments with 3D modeling and tech-forward design. Her process is fueled by the creative visions of her clients, whom she calls her greatest teachers. Every project pushes her skills further, making room for innovation while staying grounded in timeless artistry.

In this candid conversation, Carter opens up about the mistakes that shaped her—like the ring she poured her heart into, only to melt it down when it didn’t turn out right.
