Fascism and Social Revolution - PSMLS Class

In this class, we read excerpts from the book Fascism and Social Revolution by R. Palme Dutt provided to us by New Outlook Publishers. We will discuss the Communist definition of fascism and what its defining features are. We will also discuss Communist strategies for combating fascism via an organized working class and democratic elements of other social classes as allies in the fight against fascism. As the book was initially written before the 7th Congress of the Communist International in August 1935, we supplement the text with later documents on the subject to reflect the Popular Front analysis after 1935.
