En América Latina, una región rica en recursos naturales pero también marcada por desigualdades sociales, el ESG se ha convertido en un motor clave para el desarrollo sostenible.
¿Por qué es tan relevante? Según un informe de Grand View Research, el mercado de inversión ESG en la región alcanzó los 1,787 millones de dólares en 2024, con un crecimiento proyectado del 17.7% anual hasta 2030. Esto responde a una demanda global de inversionistas y consumidores que prefieren empresas responsables. Además, los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU están impulsando a gobiernos y empresas a alinear sus estrategias con prácticas sostenibles.
