Captain Marvel directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are behind-the-camera for the latest cinematic entry, Freaky Tales. The film is a love letter to movies and Oakland, largely influenced by real events from Fleck's own upbringing in northern California. Starring Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, Dominique Thorne, Jay Ellis, and more, this interview sees Boden and Fleck dive into the creative process of the super-stylized film which allowed them to flex all sorts of new filmmaker muscles.
