Created and narrated by Chelsea Ursin, Dear Young Rocker, is a podcast that profiles a young teen seeking relief from the anxiety, body issues, and pent up aggression of adolescence and a way to connect to others through rock music. details the trials of being the only girl rock musician in her conservative hometown and sheds light on the un-talked about issue of aggression in girls and the importance of providing outlets. It’s also a series of letters about everything we wish we could tell our young selves.
The podcast was born from an idea many of us share – a desire to go back and tell your younger self a lot of things. Chelsea wanted to talk to not only her kid self but every kid out there who wants to be invisible, who feels strange in their growing body, who might imagine everyone hates them or that they hate everyone else and feel like no one on earth would ever get it.
Chelsea chats with us about how the podcast pivoted from a traditional book memoir into an audio storytelling piece; what the feedback has been and her relationship to music and what she's noticed about herself since embarking on this cathartic journey. We even dive into a quick behind-the-scenes sneak peak at Season 2 which drops on August 26th from iHeartMedia and Double Elvis Productions.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
