How to Grow & When to Exit: 40 Years of Construction Industry Wisdom with Dan Ugalde.
What does it take to weather four decades of growth and regulation in the highly competitive market of supplying equipment to construction sites?
To find out, Mark interviews Dan Ugalde, a long-time Board Member of the Southern California Contractors Association. Dan grew a highly successful trucking company that supplied earthmoving trucks to construction sites throughout SoCal.
After a long and productive career, Dan took an interesting approach when exiting his company: he chose to liquidate rather than sell. Through that process, he made sure his key employees were well taken care of, helping many of them retire or find places within the industry.
A master at forming long-term relationships, Dan is also very active in helping the industry fight harmful legislation, having also served on the SCCA Legislative Committee.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
