When Anxiety Steals Your Peace
Anxiety has a way of creeping in, often uninvited, and stealing our peace. It weighs heavily on our hearts, clouding our minds with worries about the future, doubts, and fears. In those moments, it can feel like there's no way to find calm.
But even in the midst of anxiety, we are reminded that God is near. His peace isn’t just a feeling but a promise. Jesus tells us in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
When anxiety threatens to overwhelm you, remember that peace isn’t something you have to find on your own. It’s a gift from God. It’s a peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let go of the need to control everything, and surrender your worries to Him. In His presence, anxiety has no room to thrive.
Take a moment right now, breathe deeply, and invite God’s peace into your heart. Trust that He is with you, guiding you through the storm, and offering you a calm that the world cannot take away.
