The MLS stands for the Multiple Listing Service. The MLS database of all on-market houses for sale in your local market! The MLS is a private database maintained by real estate professionals to share information and help their clients buy and sell properties.

 

The MLS provides important information to real estate investors, such as: Property Photos, Real Estate Listings, Contact Information of the Real Estate Agents Involved, Addresses, Bed & Bathroom Count, Square Footage of the House and the Lot, Zoning Information, & even additional remarks!

 

The great thing about pursuing MLS Properties as a wholesaler is that the Seller is already convinced to sell their house and is technically a motivated seller! This differs from pursuing off-market deals where you have to reach out to hundreds (if not thousands) of unsuspecting homeowners to see if they want to sell their property.
