(00:00):
be a cold front, cold front tomorrow.
The high is 84.
I cannot wait.
I'm so happy.
I hate summer.
I don't know.
Maybe it's just a Texas thing.
Katie, you get better weather than me.
Are you ready for fall?
So ready for fall.
No, it's been like 103 here.
So it's been disgusting.
uh My daughter's school is actually closed today because there's a power outage becauseit's too hot.

(00:25):
It's too hot.
So they do it just because we're in like the fire high fire risk area.
So they're always shutting power off to avoid the fires.
So yeah.
And I'm coming to Texas this week and I looked at the weather and I'm like, my God, low80s and thunderstorms.
I'm there.
Those thunderstorms like roll in on Thursday.

(00:46):
Don't you fly in on Thursday?
Okay.
We will put out good juju into the universe for Katie's flights, but ah yeah, I'm over theheat.
And it's funny, uh Katie and I are officially booked for designations.
Well, Katie was.
I have been convinced this week and now I'm going to sleep on the floor graciously atKatie's family's Airbnb.

(01:07):
But we are also booked for Vegas.
And I was just like, I'm such a drama mama about weather.
Like this is why I wasn't gonna do destinations, because like we couldn't get a motorhome.
And like, was like, I feel like I'm gonna be peopled out, but we have enough friends therethat have motor homes that I can go hide in.
But Vegas in September, I was like, it's gonna be so hot.

(01:27):
It's gonna be miserable.
And a couple of people have been like, no girl, it's gonna be nice.
And like, even like in the evenings, it might be a little chilly.
And I'm like, chilly?
I don't know what that word means.
Like, I haven't felt chilly in eight months.
m
Yeah, no, hopefully it is because sitting on bleachers in the heat sounds miserable.
It really does.

(01:47):
And Katie and I are getting general admission tickets because holy cow, if you've notlooked at the SMX tickets, even with like the 10 % off code or $10 off, they're expensive.
So one day maybe we will be comped.
Maybe we will be important enough to get free tickets, but that day is not today.
So anyhow, we are looking forward to that and looking forward to meeting like so many ofyou guys.

(02:09):
But also know, especially if you find me at Designations, if it's Sunday at 5 p.m.
and I don't have any more words, don't take it personally.
My words will be gone.
be yeah, there's gonna be a lot of talking.
It's three days.
Designations is gonna be long.
I'm so excited.
It's so funny.
I've been talking to people about like as, as I'm like, you know, saying, okay, I'm going,I'm going.

(02:31):
people being like, make sure you like dig out your old old Navy stuff for like fourthJuly.
And it's so funny.
Cause that's like the only stuff I'm going to pack is like, I have like red, white andblue stuff that's old Navy.
So just cracks me up.
But anywho today we are on episode 27, 27, which arguably is one of my all time favoritewriters, Malcolm Stewart.
We love Mookie.

(02:51):
him.
He's the best.
He is the best.
aside from Jacob, who we're going to talk about, Malcolm is the only rider, like I said, addition to Jacob who raced every round, he did DNF, um, a moto.
think it was a bike thing.
I can't even remember, but he went and raced and attended every single round.
God is Tampa.
When was that?
Was that this year?
Or was that last year?

(03:13):
What the heck?
Yeah.
God, this has been the longest year and the fastest year ever.
But yeah, goddess Tampa.
When, if you've not watched grit and grind, that's name of it.
the Husky miniseries.
it's so good.
It's so good.
I watched all the, think there's four episodes.
I watched all of them like in one night.
So they're so good.
One of them, I mean, they really focus on Malcolm because he's just been great.
um So we're very excited to dedicate this episode to Malcolm Stewart, Mookie, thePredator.

(03:40):
I mean, all the nicknames.
He's the best.
Although I am getting a little worried about his dreads.
I think we said this on a past episode.
His dreads are so long.
that I'm worried they're gonna get like caught in a wheel or I don't know, like I just, some final destination stuff is gonna happen to one of those dreads.
my gosh, you know, I remember when I went to Anaheim one, like I was young and I got mypicture with James Stewart and Malcolm was there.

(04:03):
He was a kid and yeah, he just had normal hair.
He didn't have dreads.
I think I have a picture of him kind of in the background.
I need to find it.
You should find it.
We'll put it on Real Housewives of Modo.
It'll be the best.
yeah, love Mookie.
Cannot believe that we've done 27 of these episodes, like 27 episodes in like, I need tofigure out how many actual weeks.

(04:28):
Cause I think we did launch April 25th.
I don't know why I have that name, that number in my head.
Maybe it was the first episode.
Yeah.
May, June, July, August.
We did 20 episodes, 27 episodes in four months.
Pretty good.
If I do say so myself for two working moms who've got some stuff going on, but.
I was writing, I was writing, um, notes to the Romes.

(04:48):
I almost showed somebody's address on here, but I hand write all of these, like, thank youfor following us and just being so lovely.
And one of these, I had to read this because it just, it almost, it did make me cry.
Let's be real.
Um, a Rumi who wrote this in the comments, just of like, Hey, you know, I said, is thereanything else I need to know?
Like, are you following us here?
Are you doing all the things?
And she said, how do you text this girl here?

(05:09):
And as a Moda mom, wife and a mom.
Moto life photographer.
just had to say, I recently stumbled across your podcast and I am hooked.
You were everything I didn't know I needed from the tea, which I wouldn't mind more of.
Ha ha.
Maybe code names for people.
Just kidding.
Kinda.
I like that idea.
I think we need to have some more code names.
A lot of sexy caveman to the inside scoop on what's going on in the modal world.
Let's face it.
There are tons of podcasts out there and most are just guys chatting on about whateverthey want or whatever's going on.

(05:34):
Sorry.
I, I improvised that one about whatever's going on, but hearing it all from a femaleperspective.
That's a huge plus for me.
Thank you for everything you do.
Love Rosie.
Ah, thank you Rosie.
Like made me want to cry.
um And I needed that honestly.
I was telling Katie before we press record like this last week was um like really roughfor me um for no reason other than like I just have a lot on my plate and um heading into

(05:57):
like the last quarter of year is really busy at my nine to five.
And of course like being a mom and back to school and holidays and all that and collegefootball, college football starts on Saturday.
Oh, I'm not going to turn this into a college football.
Podcast, but 11 a.m.
Saturday morning, I already warned Katie I'm gonna be watching Florida State.
I'm gonna be watching Texas and Ohio State and I'm so excited.
And I won't rage out about the fact that those teams got an 11 a.m.

(06:18):
slot and not a 7 p.m.
slot.
Okay, I said I wasn't gonna do it.
I'm not gonna talk about football.
But anyhow, last week was really rough because I have a lot going on and I love this andit brings me so much joy, but I am not, I'm not a.
professional by any means.
so like the YouTube game and the editing and all that stuff, like I'm just like, this isso out of my league and I don't, I don't like the content grind, having to like play the

(06:39):
algorithm and all that.
So last week I was not sleeping very well, therapist, my psychiatrist, they all know, andthey're like, Ali, you gotta, you gotta chill.
So we're going to take a little break after this week and then we'll be back strongphysically at, at SMX and then at designations.
So lots of content to finish out the year, but we're going to take a little break.
Like everybody, everybody deserves it.

(07:00):
So.
Yeah, you deserve it.
You wear so many hats and you know, I feel like you put a hundred percent into every hatyou wear.
So, so you deserve to just breathe.
Oh, thanks.
Well, I love this so much and I love the friendships I've made like you.

(07:22):
I mean, just like all the roomies, I you guys make me so happy, but also at the same time,my husband was like, you do not need to respond to everybody on Instagram.
So like, if I don't or I like leave you on read, like I read everything.
Let me caveat that.
I read everything.
I read every single message.
Like sometimes I just cannot respond to all of them.
And I feel like very guilty about that.
But my husband's like, release that guilt.
Like you have children, you have...

(07:43):
to.
all of that.
You have direct reports at work, all the things.
You have that blue check mark for a reason.
You're allowed to let go.
You could let go of some messages now.
Dude, I'm so glad I have that blue check mark because that cuckoo, that guy that told mehe hoped I would go down in an airplane, like I was like, you see this?
Do you see this Instagram?
Like he was crazy.

(08:03):
So anyhow, we talk a lot about the podcast and therapy.
My therapist was like, do we need to talk about this?
And I was like, no, no.
Like it scared me, but like I'm not, I'm not really that worried, but I also like probablywon't be posting my exact location when I'm in Vegas because you guys are weirdos.
Like the ones that are very
very triggered by me.
posted something yesterday that was like, hey, you know what's great about like not beingtraditional moto media is like, I don't have to like your writer and I don't have to cover

(08:29):
your writer.
And like, I got some hate for that.
And it was like, I mean, I've said it here before, but like, it's so funny to me that likemen, it's never women.
Men try to convince me to like their writer.
And it's usually one writer in particular, but there's a few others where I'm like, just,it's not, know, he's not my writer, like whatever, it's fine, you know.
But it's so, like the aggression behind it is like what like blows my mind.

(08:53):
they take it way too seriously.
it's an opinion, you know?
And I feel like everything in 2025 is so polarizing.
It's like, it's why we do not talk politics here, but like you can have difference ofopinions.
Like you can like something about somebody and not like something about that same personand like don't want that person to die.

(09:15):
know, like it's just dirt bikes.
Let's chill.
So slow your roll.
But if you're in my DMs, like trying to convince me to like your writer.
and you get mean, like I'm gonna put you on blast so fast.
Cause I don't have time for that.
Like I will let the internet, I'll let the Romy's do their, do their most.
So let's jump into some Bud's Creek.
um Bud's I've heard is like miserably hot um traditionally, but didn't, didn't seem likebrutal, but also like I was so bored this weekend.

(09:43):
Like I was just like, Deegan's gonna win it.
I honestly thought Jet was gonna give Hunter the overall, like I really thought Jet wasgonna be like, you know.
Jet would go one, two and Hunter would go two, one.
So that didn't happen.
Jet gets the overall.
But really like the fun stuff kind of came after, after the races on the podium.
um
was literally Follow the Leader.

(10:04):
Yes, yes, I felt that way too.
Like no passing.
so tight.
No passing.
You had to get a good start or you were screwed.
Like, I mean, yeah, they need to like widen that because they had I remember they had thatwas the big talk last year to
Yeah, I know I need it.

(10:24):
Now that we're doing this, I'll have notes from every round, but I just feel likemotocross, like I forget all of these tracks.
And I know that's going to be like so offensive to like the diehards that go to thesetracks.
And it would feel different if I went to them, but like they all just kind of blurtogether.
like, unless it's, unless it's like Millville or with Shugal, you know, that have likereally, really like memorable physical terrain, I just kind of forget about it.

(10:44):
But um really the only thing that I had written down is uh the
everybody jumping on the red flag and Davies end up winning Moto One.
I was so excited about that.
It was weird.
What did you think when you heard that?
oh my gosh, it was wild.
was like, what?
Because I kind of looked at it as it was two different races because they completelyrestarted.

(11:08):
So I didn't really understand it.
But yeah, I think because we like Cole, we were okay with it.
If it was like Deegan ended up getting the overall win, if Joe and Cole did it, it wouldmaybe be different.
But I was excited for Cole.
If the check clears, the check clears.
It's true.
It's true.
whatever they want about that was given to him, but when we look back at the record books,it will say one.

(11:35):
It will.
ah I was listening to Michael Lindsay and Big Lou, also Big Lou like combated back to meon one of my tweets this week.
I shared that with you.
I was talking about when they were talking about the French frogs and I said like, thankyou for educating us on European colloquialisms.
And he was like, remind me what this is.
I was like, he is my, I will say it on record.

(11:55):
He is my favorite media person right now.
Like I just think, I think he's so funny and like.
He obviously like loves it.
I mean, he did it in the GPS and now he's here like good on him.
uh But he's also like not afraid to like ask really hard questions, not even hardquestions, but like not well guided questions.
Like I think some of his interview questions this weekend, especially with Jen Hunter, like let's not even talk about his Prado interviews.

(12:19):
Like Lewis has, has withstood some very uncomfortable interviews.
So good job, Big Lou.
Yeah, and he even went in deep with Eli, you know, and everyone was telling him not to doit, but Eli responded very well to it and was open.
So yeah, I hope we see him in Vegas so I can show you how tall he is.
Lewis.
we talked about this.

(12:39):
Oh yes.
Lewis, Big Lou or someone that knows him.
How tall is he?
uh Katie is saying over six foot.
I need someone to verify this.
I've heard that he's tall, also ah my therapist would probably agree that like uh toxicmen in my life are all large.
ah My dad is six, five.
My dad and I are good now, but like we have not had a great relationship in the past andtall men just, don't know.

(13:01):
Like you were either dumpster fire or you're like a big cuddly giant.
And I kind of get that the second.
part for, for big Lou.
So, um, they were talking about this, this, um, penalty in that Mike Pelletier, the directdirector of AMA, I'm pretty sure that's his title, but whatever, was explaining it as it's
a, it's a post race penalty.
So they were going like in order.

(13:22):
So they docked Deegan and then he moves down and they dock Joe and he moves down.
So I just, I don't understand it.
I don't even care.
Cole gets the win, but also how do you make that call?
Cause everybody jumped on that red flag.
Like when they showed that the static side shot, was like,
You jump, you jump, you jump, you jump.
Like, I'm not jealous of the AMA, but especially in that moment, I was like, what?
Did you see that shot?

(13:43):
I did, yeah.
And I think they posted after, you know, Seth Hammacher, they showed like the row of guysthat so they all ended up getting penalized but affected Deegan and Joe the most
obviously.
But yeah, I would not want to be Mike Pelletier.
I mean, there was this tweet and it said like, Deegan's going to have fun with MikePelletier at donations because he'll be the manager.

(14:07):
gosh, I just, I just can't even.
mean, that's a lot.
That's a lot of babysitting.
I shouldn't say babysitting really.
my gosh.
You want to talk about babysitting?
Can I, I love Courtney.
She is the PR chick for Yamaha and her husband is also Cooper's mechanic.
So they're just like the Yamaha dream team.
And I was telling her, I was like, I'm obsessed with watching you guys.
Like you guys are such a moto power couple, but like she has to babysit Hayden.

(14:29):
I mean, in all his PR stuff and like she shared, um, she shared some pictures.
hope, I mean they're public, so she would, she would be fine.
directing all the roomies to go see it.
Her spraying deegan with the champagne this week.
Oh, it brought me so much joy because you can see she's like, you're gonna get it.
Like she's chasing him with it.
And I'm like, get it girl, get it girl.
Because you know, honestly, like, I talk a lot smack on Hayden, the end of the day, likehe's a 19 year old kid, like he's he is.

(14:55):
He is what you see.
And so I love seeing, I love seeing Courtney like giving it back to him.
So that was really cute.
But other than that, like the podium.
stuff like the post-race interviews and the podium is where we're going to spill some teahere.
So something I don't like about Deegan is um the entitlement, shall we say.
So there's a number of things I've heard, like ah the way things are kind of done in theoutdoors, know, like placement of things, coolers and trucks and things like that.

(15:24):
you know, seniority or when you get there and like Deegans don't care, like we're going tothe front of the line.
So much so that like you've seen the burnouts of
Jett and Hunter going one, two, they're doing their burnouts up on the podium.
And then like in walks Duff just rides, not rides, rolls Hayden's bike up there.
Like in the middle of Jett and Hunter's moment is like, no, we're here now.
We're going to do our burnout.
Like, can you chill?

(15:45):
Like, first of all, don't think Duff knows the word chill.
That for one thing.
Like, um, but I just, don't, I don't like that.
I don't like, I don't like that energy.
And then knowing that right before that Hayden had the audacity to mouth off at DarrenLawrence.
And I do not know what words were said, but I have several romies who were there who werelike, I was right there.

(16:07):
I've got video, I'm not sharing the video, because I'm like, we don't need to put that outthere, it's nasty.
But I feel like mouthing off at Dazzy is a bold choice.
I would be, I don't know, Dazzy just seems so unhinged for his family, like unhinged forhis family that like, Deacon mouthing off at him has me like, what are you thinking, dude?

(16:28):
Like, what?
Yeah, I mean, I listened to the Steve Mathis review pod and Jason Wyga and Jason Thomaswere kind of talking about it.
They were mouthing off to each other and it was about how they were, the Lawrence's weretaking too long to take their picture and Deegan wanted to take his team out there and
take the picture.
And yeah, some words were said that, you know, you're taking too long.

(16:50):
It's our turn.
But then Lars said he didn't hear Deegan mount.
There's definitely like 87 sides to this story, but there was words exchange at the end ofit.
And it's just, no, it's just like the Duffy taking the stuff, taking the spot of theLawrence's.
They wouldn't have done that if it was like Eli Tomek or Ken Roxxon.

(17:12):
It's because it was Jet and Hunter.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's just weird to me.
It's like, why, why does Hayden need to mouth off at Dazzy?
Like if you're mad, like go talk to Yamaha.
Like, why does it need to be Hayden?
And I get it.
He was probably running on adrenaline.
but what I, from what I understand, like the time slots for taking pictures on the podium, your team pictures, like that's all organized ahead of time.

(17:34):
Um, so it's like, were they taking longer than they were allotted?
Maybe, maybe not.
Let's say they were.
Like, could you maybe not just roll your bike up in front of it?
Like, I don't know.
And I, the moto dudes are gonna be like, you cackling hens.
But like you complain about everything.
But I'm just like, can we have some like basic human decency?

(17:54):
And I feel bad for Lars.
Like I know that Lars, like he, I, I.
I love Lars.
Like the fact that he's like worked his way up at Honda, like from literally like a shopboy to like team manager, that's incredible.
So I feel bad for him.
He doesn't want to get mixed in with that.
He doesn't want to have to deal with a pissed off Dazzy.
He doesn't want to deal with the Deacons.
He doesn't want to deal with Duff.
So I just, that, that just makes me feel like icky, you know?

(18:17):
And it's like, it has, they're not even in the same class yet and this is happening andthey're gonna be in the same class for the what, next seven to eight years?
And it's like, we're here for the drama but still just have like public decency to likejust have respect for one another, you know, like Deegan or Deegan's dad or Brian and

(18:38):
Dazzy should maybe get along.
It's just like, it's just, it's gonna create so much awkwardness and tension like.
Jett and Deegan will be sitting at the press conferences so much together for the nexteight years and they just want that tension every week?
Like I wouldn't.
Yeah, no, I, I certainly wouldn't.
mean, to Hayden's credit, he thrives in it.

(18:59):
um He feeds off of it.
That's their brand cool.
um When he came and sat down, I don't think he realized that the mic was on.
was like, who wants to sit down to the, you know, sit next to the king or whatever.
then Courtney, poor Courtney was like, we're live.
And then he doubled down on, was like, who wants to sit next to the king?
And so funny because somebody made a, if you've watched Game of Thrones, you'll understandthis, made a Joffrey.

(19:20):
Joffrey reference the deacon is Joffrey and him yelling, I'm the king.
Um, I'm not saying that Hayden is a sociopath like Joffrey, but there are some parallels.
We'll just leave it at that.
So also Duff got mechanic of the year.
Um, I have thoughts on that just because like that bike was not great through the wholesummer.

(19:41):
Um, I do, I do commend Duff on getting Hayden to like back down when he was like burningclutches and was like chill.
and I, and I think that really frustrated Hayden, like, that's what you want in a mechanicthat can like clearly communicate something of urgency to you in a race.
I'll, I'll give him that, but I don't know that I was prepared to go so far as to say Duffwas the mechanic of outdoors.

(20:02):
Yeah, maybe, I don't know, maybe he's so popular.
He's like one of the most popular mechanics.
So.
it should be Jade Dungey.
Like, Jade prep chases bike for how many rounds that he wasn't even there for.
And then the mechanical, excuse me, the mechanical.
then Jade is probably sitting at home being like, counting how much money he could havemade this summer.

(20:22):
Like, that's terrible.
But we'll get there.
We'll get to 450s.
um So I did not, I did not like uh Shimoda, first of all, Shimoda saying motherfucker onthe podium or on the press conference.
Like I was watching that with Kai.
And Kai was like, mom.
And I was like, yeah, I mean, he's talking about, knows who Hayden Degen is.

(20:45):
He's like, Hayden Degen is the one that called you a grandma.
I'm like, yep, that one.
So, but the way that Joe said it, that he was just like, yeah, he called me amotherfucker.
And like, it was so cute, but like, I don't know.
Like if Joe is triggering to you, like anything is triggering to you.
So.
Right?
You know, like out of everyone who I would think Deegan might get along with and have theutmost respect for is Joe, because he's so innocent and to himself.

(21:12):
He does his own thing.
And it was just I love when Kitchen like started cracking up at the end.
He was so focused on what Joe had to say.
Yeah, I loved, I loved the, I guess it was like the runner up, like second and third placepodiums, which also, can we talk about Carrie Coombs Russell?
I have to make sure I get her name right.
I wrote it down.

(21:32):
Carrie Coombs Russell, sister of Davy Coombs, co-owner of MX Sports.
Like walking up at the beginning and like, I guess they get second and third placetrophies, which I would have liked to have seen.
They kept them in the box.
Maybe it's like a, I don't know.
Maybe it's like a belt buckle or something, but it was in the box.
I would have liked to have seen them, but she like walks across and then hands thempopsicles.
So then the boys are eating popsicles.

(21:54):
Yeah, that was random.
That was a bold choice.
Yeah.
a bold choice.
But then what was even funnier is that they were color coordinated.
So Levi got green and Joe got red.
ah But then later when uh Jet was on the podium, it was purple.
So was like, we didn't continue the color coordinating for the 450s?

(22:15):
my gosh, that's funny.
That's so random.
was so random and I don't know if she like she knew that they were live on YouTube or ifshe cared but it was it was weird.
I was like can we not can we not eat popsicles on this on the podium like uh whatever.
These are the things that I love about our sport but also make us look like wildlyunprofessional.
So whatever whatever you do you carry but I've seen I've seen some mean things about that.

(22:39):
I mean I posted I was like gosh this is going to be memed all over the place.
That's what I posted last night.
So.
Um, let's see.
Uh, that was it for me for two fifties.
We will, we'll talk some more Deegan later.
but four fifties jet went one, two for one overall Hunter went three one, which is thatthree, that three was what held Hunter back from getting the overalls.

(22:59):
Hunter gone to one.
He would have gotten it, whatever.
Jacob got two, I'm, I'm just so gutted for Jacob because he is the only one who finishedevery single moto this year.
He has been fastest qualifier.
He has been on it.
I mean like
I'm so impressed with him and he's just so, I mean, I used to think he was really boringbecause he didn't, he was just so even keeled.

(23:21):
But now I'm like, I have mad respect for that.
Like he doesn't get the highs and the lows.
Like God knows, like I'm, this is why I've been medicated for so long.
Cause my highs were too high, my lows were too low.
So I'm like mad respect to Jakub.
But uh he is now the top seed for SMX, which is cool.
Lou and Michael Lindsay were talking about how,

(23:41):
one of them said champion, I would consider him the regular season champion.
know, like he was the most consistent.
So I feel like there should be some prize money for that.
Am I off base?
Like, do you, do you feel strongly?
at all.
Even Jay Kube said that.
He says, I don't get anything for the number one seed.
Like, yeah, I think you're right.
And yeah, he's like a stallion.
He's just sturdy and just there.

(24:04):
Like, he's good.
Is that our new nickname?
we write that one down?
Hold on.
I'm putting that one down.
Stallion.
I like that.
there and he's bold and I like his sunglasses choice and he's just...
messaged me about the sunglasses?

(24:24):
Like, I was so proud.
They were like, I saw them and I knew that Real Housewives of Modo was gonna post aboutthem.
And I'm like, oh, I'm so honored, but they were the best by far.
I love them.
Like I would go buy them.
Yeah, me too.
Like I assume they were Oakleys.
That's bad.
That's bad branding that like now I can't remember in hindsight.
I just assume they were.
Yeah, that's funny.

(24:44):
uh Funny about Oakleys.
ah I've been messaging a little bit with with Chase's lady friend.
She's so sweet.
uh She's freaking stunning.
Like Chase just I mean, is Chase is hot.
Let's be real.
He pulls beautiful women and ah Evie is her name.
ah Evie is is.
I mean, just like a model and the fact she can sing on top of it.

(25:07):
Like I told her, was like, I've added her music to my Spotify.
Like she's really good.
Um, but she was, she she posted a pic, um, they were on the beach or she was on the beach.
don't know if he was there and she has his big Oakley sunglasses on, like the ones that wesaid looked like after you get LASIK and I'm like, damn, they look so much better on her.
Like that's what Oakley needs to be doing.
Like, Hey Oakley, you need to go sponsor Evie cause she looks better in the glasses thanChase does.

(25:31):
I wish I could be a fly on the wall at these writers first dates with these girls.
I just want to hear if they're awkward or if they got the swag or what they talk about, because they're so used to just the world revolving around them and they kind of have to a
step back in these dates and interview a girl.

(25:53):
I would love to just watch.
I love that.
Two thoughts.
Hold on.
It's out of frame.
Hold on.
I keep talking about and reading her book.
Got my lip.
She just finished the third one.
And so I'm about halfway done with the second one.
But um the characters in the first book are kind of modeled after Eli and Jet.

(26:15):
And so you kind of get to see what it's like to see Eli from the way that she writes it goon a first date.
Obviously, we know that Eli is not single, but it's very interesting.
um I told her I felt like I was like um taking a peek behind the curtain.
Like, I really love like the I mean, they're not they're not.
They're not one to one.
Like she's not like, is how this is Eli, you know, but she studied them and she studiedinteractions and things like that.

(26:38):
And so I just love, I love getting to like, feels like I'm learning the care, learning thewriters as characters all over again, but like she nails jet, like the, character that is
written about her as an homage, we'll say to jet, his name is Brody and like, my gosh, like I hear Brody speaking in jets voice, but anyhow, um, thinking about taking girls on
dates, um,

(26:58):
Hannah Kennard is like one of my all time favorite follows in the sport, Kennard's wife, because they met on like a mission trip and Hannah knew nothing about Moto.
And I'm like, you want to talk, mean, Trey is one of the greats like of my generation, ourgeneration.
And so I love that.
I love that Hannah had no idea like about Moto cross.
Evie is the same way.
Like I'm pretty sure their connection was through the family.

(27:19):
Astin, we've talked about that, but it's like, she has no idea about Moto.
And so I think the first thing that I said to her was like, hey, has the Moto worldterrified you yet?
Meaning me.
Meaning me, have I terrified you yet?
So I'm glad she doesn't uh hate me.
She seems very sweet and open to just learning.
And she was saying being supportive of Chase and I was like, girl, this has been a roughseason for Chase.

(27:41):
No joke.
uh Although I'm very high on Chase for SMX.
uh I have heard that he did ask Kawasaki if he could race their bike at SMX and Kawi saidno, because they wouldn't want KTM to do the same thing to them.
I I get that.
Um, so it, it, understand him asking that and him wanting to be on that bike and gettingahead of it.

(28:01):
And like, maybe thinking like the grass is greener, no pun intended.
Um, but I think that chase the SMX, like he, he doesn't have anything to prove.
And then he does at the same time, because I think he's the, he's the only one who can runwith jet aside from Hunter.
so him getting in the mix for that much money and like, he's going to be seated decently.
Well, not as well as he could have been if he'd done the whole outdoors, but

(28:24):
We don't want to run away with Jet, you know, until Deegan gets up there like chase.
Chases are our only hope.
So if you're not a chase fan right now, you need to be because SMX could just be anotherone to Lawrence wash.
So Evie, keep supporting your man.
Give us a, give us a mentally healthy chase at SMX.
would, I would fricking love that.

(28:46):
And donations.
Yes.
I was looking at, um, I guess it would have been, was it 22 when he had the blonde hair?
Like when it was in the States and it rained and it was him and AP, that blonde hair wasblonde.
Like it was real blonde.
Like Chase, don't do that.
was Eli, Justin Cooper, and Chase.
That's when they won.
Was the blonde hair.
yeah, I was thinking the AP one was when it was at Redbud.

(29:09):
When did it rain?
When it was in the States and it was AP was there and it was just, we, did not win.
that 18?
What happened before that?
I can't remember.
It's all, it's all, it's all blur.
So, um, let's see.
We talked chase.
Let's talk, let's talk jet and, uh, during or post race.
So,

(29:30):
got a bunch of messages about Jett's facial hair, which cracks me up.
Like, this is what we're gonna talk about.
We're gonna talk about, we're gonna talk about Ryder's facial hairs.
um I like, I like Chase, or I like Jett with the mustache.
I did not like this thing.
What is this?
this, can we consider it a goatee if it's like under the chin?
it's like Apache forgot to shave off.
No, it really is.

(29:50):
I never liked, um, McGrath's and he still rocks it.
Like the, they called a flavor saver.
I'm like, well, that is the grossest word.
But, um, I like, I like jet, like owning his own image.
I like, I like the purse, you know?
So screw you all haters that are like jet has a nurse.
I love it.
I liked the little eyebrow cut.
I don't understand it, but I like it.

(30:11):
I liked the mustache.
I did not like the little chin thing.
That was, that I was out on that.
So,
But I just, think Jet is so fun and like, this is where I'm glad I'm not traditional MotoMedia because if you haven't caught the vibe yet, I'm gonna be Team Lawrence for the
foreseeable future.
Like, period.
I completely agree.
I fought it hard, you know, because, but I mean, I always liked Hunter, but Jet reallygrew on me this summer.

(30:38):
I feel like he matured a lot.
kind of like his man crush on Eli.
I liked how humble he was.
yeah, I he I love Jet.
So
I do too.
And it's so funny.
Like I was thinking about last year when he came out, I think it was Anaheim too, where hecame out to the, to the like boxing gloves and the cape and stuff.

(31:02):
And everybody booed him because I honestly, like, I think, I think everybody was soworried about Jet just going on a run for like a decade that we were like, no, we don't
want this.
Well, now we have Deegan who's like the anti-Jet.
So I'm like, if we're picking sides, like I'm picking the Lawrence's all day, every day.
for sure, for 100%.
ah Also, I watched the weed show on YouTube last night and he ran into Jet and like Jetput his arm around him and was like talking to him.

(31:29):
I'm like, that's so sweet.
Like no writer is gonna go like hug Jason.
Why get?
So it's just very personable.
He's very personable more than I thought, you know, and I think
Yeah, it's gonna it's gonna be good.
I feel like, you know, he does take the wind out of a lot of these riders sales.
Like I think all of these riders lay their head on their pillow at night and Jet has to becreeping in their mind of like, how am I going to beat this guy?

(31:58):
How am I going to get better?
Because unless something weird happens, he wins, you know, and that's why Hunter didn'thave a lot of wins this season.
That's why Eli didn't have a lot of wins.
You know, that's maybe why Justin Cooper didn't sneak one in.
It's like, Jet is just a force to be reckoned with and unless something bizarre happens,he's gonna win.

(32:22):
And it's like, how is that not defeating to these writers?
Because, I mean, they have such a strong mental game, it's insane, but it's just like, can't get too, like Eli can't get too down on himself for not winning this year because
it's Jet, it's the alien, it's...
the upcoming generation.
Eli's been doing this 15 years, you know, and the fact that he still got third.

(32:47):
And I just, feel like after the DNF at Redbud, it just, he just deflated from there.
He was kind of like, let me just wrap this up safely and finish a season.
uh You know, we kind of lost his motivation there.
So I am hoping we do see a better Eli at SMX.
because it's a fresh start, it's a clean slate, you know, it'll be super cross, motocross.

(33:12):
So I hope, I hope, but yeah, it's, it's so yeah, that's my rant for the day.
My Eli rant is not giving up.
Eli, Tomac, I can't do it.
Tomac takeaway.
Katie's Tomac takeaway for the day.
KD's Tomac take away.

(33:34):
Yeah, I mean, so Tomac, I mean, he goes five, eight for eighth yesterday, but I mean, I'mwith you, like.
Yeah, that track was Follow the Leader.
He did end up passing 23 guys because he was last.
He got a bad start, he got pinched or whatever.

(33:55):
So once you got a bad start, you're kind of screwed.
So the fact that he was still able to make 23 passes happen and was in traffic and stillwas just a little bit off of the top pace in lap times, I think he did fine.
It doesn't look good on paper, but...
I feel like he's still he's trying on like Jorge Prado.
gosh, did you see there's a meme going around?

(34:17):
That's like, it's a picture of Prado from behind.
And so it's like his Jersey and it's a 70 and underneath it says seconds behind the pace.
I was like, that's bad, but so true.
Yeah, Eli.
So it's his first summer without a win.
So first outdoors without a win, which I agree with you.
think the red bud thing probably like was the final nail in the coffin for like hisconfidence in winning.

(34:40):
uh What got me?
concerned this weekend for designations is like he sat behind Kyle Webster, who is thethird writer for Australia for like way too long.
He did drop him.
Like he eventually did.
Like he took off like deep, like deep, deep beast mode, like dropped two seconds and wentafter him, but then just kind of settled back into the pace.
But I was like, why, why could you not get around Webster?

(35:02):
And I'm going to say it is the slot slot car track, but like that was weird.
Did you notice that?
And did you, did you realize that it was Webster?
Yeah, I did.
They well on the Steve Mathis review pod, they were saying that there was one writer thatwas behind thrasher and just because of the way the track was and you could not pass you
could be way faster than the guy behind you.

(35:25):
It was just impossible to get past them like you had to force it.
You had to force it to happen.
So no, I'm not.
Eli is a very mental writer and I think he will show up.
to this nation's 100 % and in it to win it and not, I just feel like, I mean, even atpress day, he was kind of like putting bad juju out there, like, I hope I finish tomorrow

(35:50):
so I can complete a season.
You know, he was kind of yeah, he was kind of like, I'm glad I completed the season, butwe still have tomorrow.
And I'm like, no, like, you'll be fine.
You'll, so.
Don't say that.
I think yeah, so I just think after that fifth he was like, let me just complete a wholeseason because he hasn't since summer 2022 It doesn't seem like that though because 23 and

(36:15):
24 he got hurt at Denver, which was basically the end So it doesn't seem like that buttechnically yeah summer 2022 So I just think he wanted to put a complete season behind him
and move on he's going to KTM
Also, obviously he doesn't want to risk getting hurt.

(36:36):
So, yeah.
I'm glad you brought up Thrasher and I'm glad you brought up bringing or going a fullseason.
Not to go back to the fourth or the two fifties, but two things.
Thrasher, I think had a season best.
He went seven five for fifth overall.
We love Andrea Thrasher.
Like if we're talking motor wives that we love, she's stunning.
Like not that there is a motor wife or girlfriend that isn't, but I'm like, she posts herTikToks and I'm just like, girl, like you're beautiful.

(37:02):
Like her skin, she does a slick back pony.
And I'm just like,
I look like, um what's that movie with Dana Carvey where he's the turtle and he's like themaster of disguise.
That's what I look like when I wear a slick back pony.
Like not cute.
So Andrea, I'm jealous of your pony, like your slick back pony.
So he did really well.
um Also two fifties.

(37:24):
If you had told me that the first year that Austin Forkner was going to complete a seasonwould be on a triumph, I would have been shooketh.
Good on him.
I'm so excited for the Forkner family.
Riley, baby Atlas, also not even a baby anymore.
That is like a fricking toddler.
Riley was posting with him this weekend.
I was like, who is this toddler?
Um, so happy for them.

(37:45):
So happy for Austin.
Like just, I mean, the brain surgery, having a baby, like switching teams to a brand newmanufacturer.
He was the only triumph to finish every race.
Like you styles retired Jalik.
my gosh.
Like Jordan Smith was
on the right trajectory.
like if you had told me that Austin Forkner was going to finish the season on a brand newmanufacturer after having brain surgery and a baby, I would have thought you were crazy.
So.

(38:05):
Yeah, they need to highlight that more though.
They never even mentioned that.
I know it's because he's not in the top like three.
And I was talking to somebody actually was during WMX, which we'll get to WMX.
And they were like, Hey, I really like your content.
I think it's cool from like a female perspective, yada, yada, yada.
What do you think we could do to like draw in more female viewers?
Because I don't know if you saw the weed show before the race.

(38:26):
So it was like Friday.
He did a little like, no, yeah, it was on Friday.
It was on press day.
And he was like,
the sports not going to grow because it's not accessible.
Like you only grow people only grow viewers after they ride a bike and like F1, like thereis some relation because everybody drives a car.
Not everybody's ever going to drive a motorcycle.
And I was like, I am an example to the exact antithesis of that.
Like I, I, yes, I have ridden a motorcycle, but like when I fell in love with dirt bikes, like I had, I think I'd only ever ridden quads.

(38:53):
Like don't throw me under the bus that I was, I was a quad kid, but ah yes, I was aroundmotorcycles and the Carmichael's and all that.
like,
I fell in love with moto as an adult woman because of the stories, because of the people.
I said this in my, in the piece that I wrote about like not being the target demo.
I fell in love with the sport because of the women, the moms, the girlfriends, the wives.

(39:14):
mean, so when we just like, can't grow the sport, you know, unless people, more people aregetting on motorcycles.
I'm like, I think that's the obvious answer because the motorcycles, the sales of themotorcycles is what gives the OEMs the money to go racing.
But to this person's point about like, how do we grow the sport with more women?
not to toot my own horn, but I think what you and I are doing right here, Katie, liketalking about someone other than, you know, the top three and their wives.

(39:37):
Um, I mean, I just keep coming back to like, made this podcast with you because I love youand I love doing this, but like, it's the content we want to listen to, you know?
And like, there's women out there.
Like I got
57 of them that I've sent stickers to thus far that are like love having a female voice.
So it's like, I'm not, this is not like a let's promote Romy's.

(39:58):
This is like, take note.
It's not all about dirt bike sales.
Like I DMXS gets it.
There was the first podcast I ever listened to.
It's all about taking the helmet off and the rider under the helmet.
So I don't know.
Like we, you know, we want to spotlight women on this, on this pod.
Like, please come on, come chat.
I've, I've had a few other pro writers wives tell me, no, that they're just afraid thatthey'll say too much.

(40:20):
Um,
And I understand that because they're protecting their man's image and their man'scontract and stuff.
like, hope, I hope we can change that.
I hope more women will come forward, like who are, who their writers are actively racingand like go on record because I just like y'all are the OGs.
Like y'all are, y'all are the ones carrying the sport.
Like.

(40:41):
feel like the ones that know about the Modo wives and the Modo girlfriends are thediehards, you know?
Like they know all angles of the sport and you go talk to, you know, an uncle, they're notgonna know who Chase Sexton is dating.
Yep.
Yeah.
But I'm like the fact that like our, our best episode yet was the episode that I, I teasedon Instagram saying here's, here's Evie's handle.

(41:07):
Um, it's Evie I E XO XO that's Chase's girlfriend because they get it.
They're like, I want to know all the things.
And like a lot of those top tier writers, I mean, now they're trending younger, but a lotof them are married.
So it's like, you know, this person as short of divorce, like God knows we don't wish thaton anybody.
They're going to be around.
So like the women who send me.
You know, the videos of Jessica Tomak racing the horses and every, everybody was talkingabout that shirt she was wearing.

(41:29):
Like I told you, I was like, that color is fabulous on her.
Sorry, rabbit hole.
But like that's, that is what hooked me.
And that's what continues to hook me is like, I love dirt bikes.
I love dirt bike racing.
I love supercross.
I love going to the races.
I froze my ass off this year, going to the races at Foxboro.
But like, I remember the first time I met Lindsay Dungey.
I remember the first time I met Matilda Muskin, like that blew my mind and they continueto blow my mind and

(41:55):
If we can tell those stories to a different demographic and draw in new viewers who arenever going to race a dirt bike, I'm never going to race a dirt bike.
Let's call a spade a spade.
Like, I'm sorry, Weege, I disagree.
Period.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, not everyone has 10 grand running around to go buy one of the bikes of theirfavorite riders.
Like, I don't really think that's such a huge market.

(42:20):
So I always get confused when they say that, you know?
Like, yeah, I just...
if I were to let my day job kind of meld over, um I work really closely with our dataanalytics team.
so really like tracking bike sales in relation to Supercross like is really just lazy dataanalytics because it's the easiest way to like track ROI.

(42:41):
But there's so many other ways.
Like I remember.
um
I think it was uh Kenny Watson with RCH and Heart and Huntington.
They had all these different activations.
They had Dodge, they had a Casino, those companies, Jimmy John's, those companiesunderstand data and where the viewers and the touch points are coming in.
And so I just think that saying, yeah, higher bike sales mean we're doing something rightin Supercross.

(43:02):
Well, it's like, look at KTM.
They were about to go bankrupt because they had so many bikes sitting in warehouses.
I just don't know that that tracks.
So we need to be better about our data analytics.
but I'm a really nerd out here.
goodness.
All right.
Let's, let's talk a little WMX.
So our girl Lala wraps it up.

(43:23):
they had two motos on Friday and one moto on Saturday.
One of the motos on Friday, Lala had a really bad get off and hurt her back, which let meremind you, she broke her back last year.
So when I saw that, I saw the replay of it on, on, uh, on YouTube, somebody had had sharedit.
I didn't even want to text Nicole cause I was so scared.
then I, Nicole started posting, she was good.
She was okay.
Um, and she was getting her sternum worked on.
I guess when like you land on your back and you hurt your back, it like wraps all the wayaround to your sternum.

(43:47):
I've had sternum pain.
Like I, I, had a really bad, viral infection and like the there's, there's like nerves orsomething on your sternum, like underneath your boobs, obviously that is a very niche
pain.
So Lala, as if we didn't know she was a baddie, like race through that.
on, on Saturday, clenching the championship, um,

(44:09):
Charlie came in second, Charlie.
I can't speak to this, but like I will say, uh there's some tea with Charlie Cannon andthe Lawrence camp.
And just because they're from the same continent does not mean that they're uh BFFs.
We'll leave it at that.
Go do your thing, roomies.
Go figure that one out.
ah But sweet little Lala.

(44:31):
I love her on the podium.
I love her saying that she was gonna celebrate with root beer, but like I love Nicole.
We got it.
We got to work on Lala's podium speeches because that girl is such a badass and she opensher mouth and the sweet little voice comes out.
And not that that's a problem.
I just want to hear everything from her.
Like there's a couple of times where I think she just got nervous and she kind of fumbledher words, but I'm like, girl, no, I want to hear what you have to say.

(44:52):
So like we got to, we got to work on that, but she's unreal.
mean, like she's, she's unstoppable.
Yeah, she's a warrior for sure.
Yeah.
Um, her on the podium with, with Deegan and Jett, I just, I freaking loved it.
Like I put it up on Real Housewives of Modo, like between Jett and Deegan, said thetension and then I said the innocent bystander.
Um, but I've had some interesting comments in my DM saying that like Lala and Deegan havethis like flirty thing.

(45:18):
Um, I have not heard that, but someone was like, yeah, look at Deegan's face.
It's like beat red when he realized it's Lala coming up.
And I'm just like, don't do that.
Don't don't do that.
I can't mentally, I can't do it, gosh, she is,
The dichotomy between her sweet little voice and getting root beer and like the completebad ass that she is on a bike just blows my mind.
So I, I'm here for that.
Like we need, we need WMX to be its own class.

(45:42):
We need every single round of the outdoors.
mean, honest to God, like I said this a couple episodes back.
I want to see Lala do combines.
I want to see Lala get in the mix of the two fifties.
Like she's got another year on her, all to Yamaha contracts.
And then she's up.
Like she, she is very marketable and she's fast on a bike.
like,
Somebody needs to snatch her up.
DB.

(46:04):
I sort of told DB at club.
mom's stories.
Nicole, Nicole, right?
She said mom, mama Rosy instead of paparazzi.
Those stuff.
That was so funny.
I love it.
told her she, mean, she's just constantly filming them and I love it.
was like, we could make a documentary out of your life.
Like she's, she's on it and they cut to her on the broadcast, which I love because shelooked like she was so anxious.

(46:26):
I was like, out of her face.
Like I know she hated that, but no, she, she's a mama bear.
And I mean, I love, I love seeing Lux in the background, like supporting Lala.
And it's just, I just, I love, I love the family side of, of Moto as someone who like hassaid, I'm never going to race.
Like that is.
is so cool to me.
And I think that's what the amateur world gets.
They're like, yeah, it's expensive AF, but it's a family sport.

(46:51):
Katie, you grew up in it.
I'm going to meet all of your family at Desnations and we're going to talk moto stuff.
Nothing like we talk about Real Housewives of Moto, but...
No, every time I bring up a girl or some drama, they just look the other way.
Or don't really care.
force it down their throats this week.
We're going to be like, let me tell you about this Deegan drama, Deegan girl drama.

(47:12):
Goodness gracious.
So very, very excited for Lala and the Turner family.
Like what a team effort.
So good on them.
A couple other things that are coming up.
We've got, obviously we said we're going to be at SMX.
We're going to be at Desnations.
Really, I don't know.
I don't know that anybody is going to give USA and Australia.
a I think it's going to be a toss up between us because I do think that we are the moreconsistent team.

(47:37):
I think where our level is between Chase, Eli and Deegan um versus Jett, Eli, KyleWebster.
I know Kyle Webster, he's the Australian pro motocross champion, but if you're comparingapples to apples like Webster to Deegan, we would win on that.
But it is the best of five out of six.
So they race six motos and they drop one.
um

(47:58):
dropped the worst.
I don't know, like Jett's gonna win his.
So Jett's gonna go one, one in his.
Chase really is kind of like our best hope for, he's racing open, right?
Eli's on 450, Chase is on open.
Or other way around.
Okay, Eli's on open, Chase is on 450.
Okay, well, see that's the thing is like, it's a toss up between those four, betweenHunter, Jett, Chase and Eli.

(48:22):
And then really, think that, I think Deegan and Webster are gonna be the wild ones.
I mean, pun intended.
Yeah, yeah, that's what Derek said.
He said it's gonna be up to Deegan, honestly.
Yeah.
Well, I mean.
what happened in 2022 is it all came down adjusting Cooper.
So
And Jacob did it, man.
He brought it home.

(48:42):
But I asked chat chibi T to like, can you give me the scores from 2022 between, you know,USA and Australia?
And yeah, they were kind of close all over the place and we ended up winning.
And then I looked last year, we only lost to Australia by three points and AP and Cooperwere way down there.

(49:04):
And, you know, Eli and chase will be way above that.
So I feel like we have a chance, but then it's a toss up.
I'm glad.
I'll be obviously sad if USA doesn't win, because it will be there and that'll be so neatto experience.
But I also like the Lawrence's and it's gonna be real close and real nerve wracking.
Yeah, I feel like I need like, I need like a shirt that's like USA in the front and thenlike green and yellow in the back.

(49:30):
Like just turn it around when we lose, you know, if, we lose, not when we lose, don't comeat me.
Um, but no, I I love, I, have a lot of Australian listeners.
Like I, they're so fun.
Like I love learning about, um, Ozzie moto.
I learned all about the Ozzie class during shifty gate and Loretta's and stuff.
So, um, I'm not wishing against.

(49:51):
Australia at all.
Like I'm very excited for Australia.
Um, the one, the one team that we, I have pause about is Belgium, which we had to look upwhat, what you are, if you live in Belgium, Belgium, you are a Belgian and the Conan
brothers, because they're legit.
Like I would not be surprised if we see them in 2027.
I think next year, like they have to stay cause of contract stuff.

(50:13):
They're with Lucas Myrtle.
Uh, but they are two of the three writers and I'm sorry, I don't know the third one.
I should know.
I feel like it's somebody big.
Who's the third writer?
Hold on.
Pause please.
Filling dead air, hold on.
Belgian MXON team.
Someone's gonna like be screaming at me.
They're like, it's this person, duh.

(50:33):
Hold on.
Oh, Liam Everts, okay.
So it will be, which one is which?
Okay, MX2 will be Sasha, MXGP will be Lucas, and then MX Open will be Liam Everts.
I mean, that's, you don't shake a stick at that team.
Like that's a legit team.
So um do I think they're gonna challenge the United States or Australia really for a winthere?

(50:57):
No, but I do think that there's gonna be certain modas where we're like, holy shit,Belgium.
So there you go, looking out for Belgium.
um Excuse me.
oh, we did not talk about this with Prado.
I have to go back.
Pretend we're winding, putting this in Prado.
uh I posted his post from last night on Instagram and I want to read it.

(51:21):
And then I realized like, while I was reading this, he edited it.
And I'm like, bro, I don't think you made this any better.
Hold on.
His pink box is so good.
Okay.
So he said, P6 overall on the pro motocross standings.
It was a very tough season to say the least.
Cruising around.
This is where he got in trouble, say cruising.
Cruising around every single race was heartbreaking for me, especially knowing mycapabilities.

(51:42):
Never felt comfortable on the bike, not even a little bit.
This builds an unsafe feeling on it.
Didn't expect this year to go this way at all.
Happy to be in one piece and fit.
Hopefully we're back to where we belong soon." Which I was like, where you belong?
Is that like hinting that you belong at KTM?
I digress.
Yeah, so everybody's taking it.
I'm like, bro, you're a PR nightmare.

(52:02):
So then he comes back and says, note with cruising, I meant that I couldn't ride to myfull potential, even though I gave my 100 % and set and had to set myself to ride on a
safe speed.
Then he also drops that as a comment in the post.
I just, don't get it.
I don't get it.
I, he got the whole shot.
I, I, are at the end of the episode, so I'm not going to go down a whole diatribe aboutworks bikes and the GPS and American bikes.

(52:26):
I think there's something there, but like, this is not a good look.
Like don't.
don't do this.
And people were telling me, it's just the euros and like look at F1, like Max Verstappenlike rips Red Bull.
And I'm like, yeah, but like, I don't know.
This is bordering on like disrespectful because I have people that I consider friendsinside Cowie and it is not great for the team morale.

(52:49):
Like straight up, like you don't want to do your job when you have someone blowing you outon social media saying you were cruising around on an unsafe bike.
So.
Sorry, that was at end of the episode, not to end on a depressing note, but that one justwas like, what the flip?
Did you see it?
Yeah, it was it's just disrespectful and they put a lot of money to him and I'm surethey've tried everything.

(53:11):
So it's just I mean that privateer passed him on a cowie.
So like how bad could it be?
And yeah, it was out of line for sure.
This was uh a, Lindsay was talking about writers needing individual PR people.
I'm like, yeah.
Like he was saying like McGrath is probably the last person that had like an agent and aPR person.

(53:32):
I would like to volunteer as tribute.
will, I will be the default PR person.
at that.
You would be amazing at that.
terrible or terrible.
Cause I've gone on record saying like, I don't have to like your favorite writers.
So like, could I be impartial?
Probably not.
But, uh, Hey, Steve Espin, if you need a, if you need a PR person for any of your guys, Iseem to really like everybody in the family.

(53:53):
I love Kenny, love AC, love Chase.
So I'm like, you need to, if you need a PR girl for your writers, let me know.
But anywho, that was God, sorry.
I had to cycle back to that one.
Last item of business.
Sweet party in Dallas.
I have some preliminary numbers that shocked me to my course.
I want to be honest with you Romy's It ain't gonna be cheap like on the low end like 350per person which is Just the ticket maybe light catering but 350 on the high end like 650

(54:20):
because one Jerry Jones Jerry makes me mad also the Cowboys.
Nope.
Nope.
We're not doing football but
it's still going to go forward with this.
I'm eventually going to have a form, a sign up form for interest, but know that like 650on the high end, that is insane to me.
Like I would not attend a sweet party for 650 unless I was like, I don't know, guaranteedlike a jet cameo, which I cannot guarantee.

(54:46):
I can't do that at all.
So don't get excited.
So anyhow, that is happening.
It is still TBD because the dates are not released.
I shared that here that they were like, how do you know that date?
And I was like, Oh, I forgot.
I was not supposed to know that the schedule, but I do know the schedule.
So it is coming, but
350, I'm much more comfortable with.
I would pay 350.
think the suite, just the experience of it.
mean, Katie, you were there like having a charger and a comfy seat, I would pay extra forat Cowboy Stadium.

(55:12):
Like that was amazing.
Like we have a charger and we have water.
We don't have to leave for, do we have a bathroom too?
I think our suite had a bathroom too, didn't it?
Yeah, yeah.
And you get your own special section of concessions.
Like only the suites can go to those concessions.
which is funny.
I think that's where I met Jacob Hayes the first time because I was with Evan Blair andobviously they know each other and Jacob like came up and was like talking about Evan

(55:35):
Blair's little like mustache.
God bless him.
Anyhow, so Sweet Party is still tracking just depending on how big and how many people itholds and things like that.
But wanted to give you guys just honest numbers that shocked me.
I potentially we could do Houston, not this year, not 2025 or 26.
Houston is on the schedule, but 2020.

(55:58):
Seven if I knew with enough time, but want to just put that out there because times arehard and finances are tight and we love dirt bikes probably more than most people.
mean, shoot, like our budget for the fall between Vegas and S and X, like she gone.
Yeah.
oh
bummer, but I will keep you guys posted.
We did do some like just meetups at like restaurants, like we got lunch together at aplace that we always go to, Twisted Root.

(56:24):
They have really good burgers.
They have really good pickles.
They have homemade pickles and like these giant vats and they have like multiple flavorsof pickles.
So we'll probably do that again.
If you don't want to spend that much money, you can come get a burger with the Romies.
So just depending on like when you're getting in town, I know some people are coming inlike the night before and our house has already been claimed.
Sorry, Romies.

(56:44):
But we'll do something for free.
Like I wanna meet as many of like our female listeners as possible and our male listeners.
We have some romies who claim their male romiehood.
So I wanna meet them too, but ah that will be coming.
And that is in February of next year.
So that is it.
Katie is here in roughly 96 hours.

(57:04):
I'm so excited.
It's been too long.
We're gonna see each other like every month.
me.
I know, I do come to Texas a lot, so it kind of works out.
Because I'll see you in September and October.
Yep.
Yep.
We're going to see like how many weekends are there between SMX and designations too.

(57:25):
It's not much.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
Although my, my daughter did ask like if her friend was coming and I was like, no, sorry.
She's not coming.
She's talking about Riley, which was cute.
But, um, anyhow, we will enjoy.
some time off from the pod.
I have zero self-control, so I will probably not be slowing down on Instagram, but we'llbe back for what's right.

(57:48):
Is round one Charlotte or is round two Charlotte Charlotte St.
Louis.
Yeah.
I've got a couple of friends going there, a couple of Roamies.
Um, so maybe I'll get them to tag us in some content, but that should be a good one.
Um, that's the only one that we've gone to every single year.
So it's kind of becoming, I guess, like the kickoff of the SMX season.
I know we are not coming back to Fort Worth.
That was just a complete dumpster fire heat.

(58:12):
I'm hoping one year we get one at Circuit Americas in Austin because that venue is sodope.
I'm sure it's not cheap, but I've been there for F1 and MotoGP a number of times.
I saw Taylor Swift there at Circuit Americas.
Yeah, it was in 2018.
It was the only concert she did that year.
So she must've been like writing heavily, but they have like out in the field.

(58:34):
Like if you're familiar with Circuit Americas out by the big turn, which I think is turn12,
There's like a big grassy area.
And I mean, there was probably 15,000 people like just sitting on picnic blanketslistening to Taylor Swift.
It was really cool.
So I hope that we get to go there.
I think it would be dope if we could get some cool concerts and stuff like that.
I've made a few contacts in the industry.
um So shout out if we chatted this week and just some really cool people behind the scenesdoing some cool stuff like on the MX sports and the, and the Feld side.

(59:01):
So I'm encouraged.
We've got, we've got some younger, some younger blood and I'm saying younger like us, likein our thirties.
ah
that are kind of championing for some cool things in the sport.
I'm encouraged, I'm encouraged.
I'm encouraged by a number of things.
I think there's rivalry with Hayden and Jett.
That's encouraging.
I mean, like we've needed it.
ah I'm encouraged by SMX.
Honestly, like we're figuring it out, but I'm so excited for Vegas.

(59:25):
Everybody seems to be really pumped on Vegas this year.
ah I just, feel really good about the sport.
I feel good about the health of the sport.
So with that, we are, we are.
And our love of Modo and love of Modo T is not diminishing.
So if you do not already follow us, please give us a follow everywhere, anywhere andeverywhere.
We're trying to build the YouTube game, YouTube, Real Housewives of Modo, Instagram.

(59:47):
ah My X is RHO, Real Housewives of RHO underscore Modo.
And so sometimes I tweet some like random stream of consciousness and sometimes peopleretweet it and they get more traction than I think I want.
But ah I like to think we're a fun follow most of the time.
Come on over.
Sound good?

(01:00:09):
Yeah.
Alrighty, well, that's it for us and you will see probably Katie on my Instagram here soonbecause she's coming to Texas.
Cool.
Bye.
