#80: David Martinez from In These Mountains (2025,Part 1) comes back to the podcast for a second time.  We catch up and he shares his thoughts on the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. He walks us through the story of getting an Elk with his bow in Montana and the grind of backcountry hunting on public land in grizzly country.  We get to hear about his wife, Nicole's first season out as a hunter, chasing elk with her bow to getting a white tail with a rifle.  David gives advice on how he helped get his wife into hunting and helping her gain confidence enough to go out solo hunting too. The next episode will be there will be a part 2 where we chat about filming hunts, tips for self filming, and the big horn sheep, plus what business looks like in 2025.
