Originally from Harlem, Richard Melville Hall, better known as ‘Moby,’ is a multi-faceted artist renowned for his electronic and dance music career. His journey began in classical music and music theory at a very early age before emerging musically during the '80s punk scene in New York City. Moby eventually made a significant impact on the electronic music scene with his 1991 single "Go" and the critically acclaimed album "Play” - which “Rolling Stone” magazine lists as one of the best albums of all time. Beyond his successful music career, he's also a prolific producer and remixer for a diverse range of artists. Moby's various interests has also led him to establish the ‘Always Centered at Night,’ record label along with film and TV production. He is also a fellow podcaster as host of ‘Moby Pod.’ As an outspoken ‘Animal Rights’ Advocate and vegan, Moby has also become known for his philanthropic work with organizations like The Humane Society and the ACLU. He’s recently released a new documentary entitled “Punk Rock Vegan Movie” which is currently winning awards on the film festival circuit.
