As a woman I can't say how great it is to hear menopause openly discussed in my family, friend groups, media, and entertainment. We should be talking about it. It's such an important transition in a woman's life so why hide it?
However, the tone around menopause still needs some work! The way I hear it discussed would make any woman put the brakes on. Who is going to embrace vaginal dryness, brain fog and hot flashes with open arms? There is more to menopause than mood swings. The way we talk about menopause sets the tone for all women after us.
