This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "El Sid" (Season 2 Episode 5)
In this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we dive into season 2, episode 5, "El Sid." the sliders find themsleves on a chaotic world where violence is rampant. Quinn intervenes to rescue a woman named Michelle from her abusive boyfriend, Sid. In the ensuing chaos, both Michelle and Sid inadvertently slide with the team to the next world- a version of San Fransico that has been transformed into a maximum-security prison.
Upon arrival, the group is fitted with "buddy bracelets," devices that inforce a system where each person's behavior directly affects there assigned partner; if one commits a crime, both are punished. Quinn is paired with Sid, whos violent tendencies quickly escalate, placing them both in jeopardy. As the sliders navigate this perilous enviornment, they contend with Sid's volatility, the oppresive prison society, and the looming threat of earthquakes that endanger the city's stability.
