A freak lightning strike during a slide sends Quinn to an astral plane, where he can see the rest of the group but cannot communicate with them. The sliders arrive on the next world thinking that Quinn did not make the slide or landed elsewhere.
With the timer damaged from the lightning hitting the vortex, the team faces the daunting challenge of repairing it in a society that fears advanced technology. Meanwhile, Quinns only link to the physical world is Gillian, a young psychic who discovers she can sense and interact with his astral form.
As the sliders race against time to restore the timer,they must navigate the dangers of this restrictive society. And some how rescue Quinn from the astral plane. can they fix the timer and make the next slide before there window closes?
