This Week On Sliding Through Dimensions: "In Dino Veritas" ( Season 2 Episode 7)
In this episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we explore Sliders season 2, episode 7, "In Dino Veritas." The sliders arrive on a world where San Fransico has been transformed into a wildlife preserve for endangered dinosaurs. Complicating matters, they are still wearing "truth collars" from the previous slide-devices that deliver a shock whenever the wearer tells a lie.
Shortly after arriving, the group encounters a deadly Allosaurus. In there frantic escape, Professor Arturo twists his ankle and loses the timer. Recognizing the urgency, Quinn ventures alone into the dinosaur-infested wilderness to retrieve the timer. Meanwhile, Wade, Rembrandt, and the injured Arturo must find shelter and survive amidst the prehistoric dangers.
The situation is futher strained by truth collars, which prevent the group from offering comforting falsehoods to ease their fears. As tensions rise and the Allosaurus continues to pose a threat, the Sliders must rely on their wits, honesty, and trust in one another to endure. The episode delves into themes of survival, the importance of truth, and the dynamics of group cohesion under exteme stress.
