On this week's episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we dive into episode 2 of season 2 of Sliders "Love Gods." The sliders arrive in a world where a devastating virus has wiped out most of the male population, leaving men a rare and highly protected resource. To there shock, Quinn, Rembrandt, and The Professor are immediatly taken by the authorities and forced into goverment programs designed to repopulate society, while wade struggles to navigate a society driven by desperation and gender imbalance.
As the boys grapple with their newfound status as prized "assets," they must also devise a way to avoid the authorities and reunite in time for the slide. Along the way, they encounter resistance movements, hiddens secrets about this worlds genetic experiments, and questions freedom vs obligations.
With the stakes higher than ever, the team faces moral dilemmas, unexpected allies, and their own personal boundaries in a world turned upside-down. Will they escape in time, or will this dystopia claim them as part of its future?
