On this weeks episode of Sliding Through Dimensions, we delve into Sliders Season 2, Episode 11: " The Young and the Relentless." The Sliders arrive on a world where youth rules- People over 30 are forced into early retirement, and society is dominated by ambitious young professionals.
Quinn discovers that this double on this world was recently murdered. To investigate, he assumes his double's idenity and steps into his corporate role, promoting an educational software called EduLearn. As he digs deeper, Quinn uncovers unsettling truths about his double's death. Meanwhile Arturo and Rembrandt get into trouble for violating age-based laws and face jail time.
The situatuion escalates when Wade's double, who was married to Quinn's double, is revealed to be behind the murder. She plans to eliminate the Sliders to cover her tracks, but Wade confronts her, leading to her arrest.
Join us as we explore the themes of ageism,ambition, and the consequences of a society obsessed with youth. We'll discuss how the Sliders navigate this challenging world and moral dilemmas they face along the way.
