(Transcribed by TurboScribe.ai. Go Unlimited to remove this message.) Hey everyone, Dr. Christine here.
How the heck are you?
In today's episode of Smart Digestion Radio, we
are going to talk about the food enzyme
advantage.
And I'm going to give you three key
insights here.
And let's just kick it right off, shall
we?
All right, number one, insight number one, you
don't have a digestion problem, you have an
energy deficiency problem.
More specifically, you've got FEDS, a Food Enzyme

(00:33):
Deficiency Syndrome, FEDS, Food Enzyme Deficiency Syndrome.
You see, every symptom is an energy crisis.
Symptoms are nothing more than you don't have
the energy to meet the need.
And when it comes to digestion, that's your
body's frontline generator.
You want to understand something, okay?
And that is that what if the random
symptoms that you're experiencing, like fatigue, joint pain,

(00:55):
brain fog, constipation, diarrhea, acne, what are, what
if these are really signals, warning signs that
your body's energy department is waving a white
flag?
Think of it like this.
If you are on a busy road, think
of the busiest road in your community and
pretend that there's a big old semi-truck
bearing down on you, flashing its lights, honking
its horn, it's massive.
Are you going to stand there in the

(01:16):
road or are you going to get out
of the way, right?
Your body is giving you signs.
But how many of us just stand there
and get hit and do nothing, right?
The medical model, which wants to give you
medications, and again, I'm not telling you to
stop taking your medicines, but if you've got
a nutritional energy problem, medications aren't nutrients and
they're not energizing.
So then how can we expect to get

(01:36):
great results?
Medicines have their place, but more importantly, it's
about homeostasis.
It's about energy.
And the three nutrients that supply energy are
going to be your carbs, your proteins, and
your fats.
So I want you to reframe every single
symptom you have and look at it as
a clue to a depleted energy source.
And really look at the fact that your

(01:56):
body has an overwhelmed digestive tract.
All right, let's move now into insight number
two.
Pre-digestion is the most overlooked phase of
healing.
Your body doesn't just wait for stomach acid,
by the way.
It gets to work the moment you put
food in your mouth and begin to chew.
But that's only if enzymes are present.
You see, you have digestive enzymes in your

(02:18):
saliva.
Food enzymes are from food.
Digestive enzymes are from inside the body.
Metabolic enzymes are in every single cell.
But it's kind of a misnomer that people
will think food enzymes are digestive enzymes.
Yes, they're digesting, but they're separate.
Food enzymes digest, digestive enzymes digest.
It's just really knowing where one comes from.
So a food enzyme comes from food, but
we heat treat our food, cook our food,

(02:40):
microwave our food, all of these things.
118 degrees Fahrenheit is the number with which
the enzymes are now dead.
So eating foods that are devoid of food
enzymes is putting an internal stress, a threshold
problem inside your body.
You're giving up more digestive enzymes because you
have to, because you didn't have those food
enzymes present.
And you're only born with a set amount

(03:00):
of digestive enzymes.
You just don't keep making more and more
and more.
This is what people think.
That's why it's so imperative that you take
those food enzymes at the beginning of your
meals, because you don't want to put that
extra burden onto your digestive system.
So again, your body doesn't just wait for
acid.
It gets to work the moment you chew,
but only if food enzymes are present and
only if digestive enzymes are present or in

(03:21):
the saliva, if you have enough.
So here's an overlooked truth.
Most people think digestion starts with acid, but
it starts with enzymes and they're often missing.
The idea that up to 45% of
carbohydrates can be digested before acid even shows
up, pre-digestion phase, okay, this should snap
you into realizing just how vital things like

(03:41):
smart carb 45 are, plant enzymes are, and
how important proper chewing really is.
Let's move now into our final insight for
today.
And that is the reason vitamins don't work
is because the system they enter is broken.
What do I mean by that?
Well, you can't supplement your way out of
dysfunction.
You have to move nutrients past a stressed

(04:02):
incompetent digestive system.
And that's exactly what smart carb 45 food
enzyme, my custom formula helps to do.

So I want you to just shine a
light on how important food enzymes are.

(04:24):
And if we fail to take them, we're
going to put a bigger burden on our
gut.
I hope that you've enjoyed this episode about
the food enzyme advantage.
It's such a simple thing to overcome.
