proper use of annuities. Chris outlines the various types of annuities commonly sold by life
insurance companies. Chris and Jeff caution listeners about the embedded fees and features of
these products. Jeff points out the lack of flexibility to owners of annuities and reminds listeners
in a typical fixed annuity based on the owner’s lifetime, there will nothing left for the
inheritance/legacy. Chris speaks to his concerns of the impacts inflation can have for annuity
owners.
