Back in early 2016, I began seeing a rotating black-and-white checkerboard circle in my peripheral vision. It stayed with me for months. No pain, no migraine, just this persistent, unexplainable visual distortion. Medical exams were inconclusive. But as my life dramatically shifted that year—with personal tragedies and challenges that ultimately led me to meditation and awakening—I now recognize that this strange phenomenon was a sign of something much deeper: the activation of my third eye and pineal gland.
