The Southeastern 16 crew reacts to a wild weekend No. 12 of SEC baseball, with story lines that include:
Arkansas does what no one else could do in a weekend: beat Texas. And, the Razorbacks swept the series, positioning themselves for a national seed in the NCAA tournament.
Texas A&M got yet-another huge series win, this one, at home vs. LSU. The Aggies remain in good position for an NCAA tournament berth.
Auburn got a huge series win at Tennessee thanks to Ike Irish, Chris Rembert, Sam Dutton and others.
Vanderbilt was down 7-2 to Alabama in the eighth inning on Sunday, but a pair of Braden Holcomb home runs helped the Commodores walk off Alabama and win the series. Like Auburn, Vanderbilt has put itself in good position for a national seed.
In its first weekend without fired coach Chris Lemonis, Mississippi State finds new life and sweeps Kentucky, and is now firmly in the NCAA tournament conversation.
Oklahoma won two of three against Ole Miss, which bolsters the Sooners' case of hosting.
Florida swept South Carolina to considerably boost its NCAA tournament chances. It was underwhelming, but Georgia swept Missouri in Columbia to keep the Tigers winless in SEC play.
