I hope that today's conversation is a helpful one for anyone who had suffered a loss like this. I don't like to talk about my pain publicly unless something good can come from it but I think today's conversation accomplished that. I am so grateful to Jenn for doing this with me.
Dr. Jennifer DiTrapani grew up in Connecticut, where her love for horses began and shaped much of her life and career. After moving to Florida, she graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Guided by her passion for animals, Jennifer built a successful career in veterinary medicine, co-owning three small animal hospitals with her husband, who is also a veterinarian.
Dedicated to caring for others and contributing to her community, Jennifer always viewed veterinary medicine as a perfect blend of science and service. In recent years, she has chosen to scale back her clinical work to explore new endeavors. A long-time yoga practitioner since 2004, Jennifer completed her yoga teacher training in 2025 and now shares her love of yoga by teaching classes locally.
Today, she balances her time between part-time veterinary work, managing her family and businesses, and pursuing her passion for balance and wellness. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys reading, managing her never ending tbr pile, obsessing over bookstagram, gardening, spending quality time with her three daughters, her friends, and the beloved but high maintenance pets that share her home.
