Wealthy people are regular people—just with bigger problems.

What happens when you finally make the money you worked so hard for? Many get lost in the spending, others get lonely at the top.

In this candid episode of The Abundance Mindset, Vinney Chopra and Gualter Amarelo pull back the curtain on wealth. From managing money smartly to understanding that high-net-worth individuals still face deep challenges, they show that money doesn’t make you superhuman—it makes you more you.

💬 Why emotional intelligence matters more than flash when dealing with investors

🏘️ How to invest with intention and avoid lifestyle inflation

🤝 Why the wealthy are often the simplest people in the room

Vinney shares how he raised over $200M by listening to investors, honoring their goals, and treating them like people—not wallets. And Gualter reminds us that true connection starts with real conversations, not sales pitches.

This episode will help you see the humanity behind the money and the mindset it takes to stay grounded while building wealth.

(00:00):
Mean, you've got to just be very vigilantwhat you want to do and keep liquid.

(00:06):
Keep liquid.
I watch so many YouTube videos every nighton stock market and predictions and MAD
seven, the big companies that they arelike at 25, 30% off right now price wise.
And as their earnings come, they're gonna come back up.
But you've got to really be vigilant and.

(00:28):
Find some time to control your money.
Don't just spend it.
You ask me, what happens whenpeople make a lot of money?
Sometime it goes to our head, ortheir head and they spend frugally
not frugally, but ex extrovert, carsand this and that and all those.
Key thing is to really be as much even.

(00:52):
Balance.
It's hard to do it, but it's good tojust keep it for the rainy day, invest
and let it grow, and then keep focus.
So powerful there.
There's so many people inthe camp of why do we work?
Why do we make this money?
Yeah.
Isn't it money supposedto make your life better?
And it.
It is, but everybody'sgot different goals.
For some of us investors, we're lookingto have 10,000 units that we're impacting.

(01:15):
And yes, I wanna live a better life, but I'm gonna take everything and roll
it into the next deal, roll into thenext deal, roll into the next deal,
and then, take some of that back.
Which brings us to the third one.
Wealthy people arepeople too, just because.
We have more just because we'redoing different things or we're
capable of different things.
Doesn't mean we don't I think itdoesn't mean we don't have families.
It doesn't mean we don't have needsor our time is valuable or hobbies.

(01:39):
I find out about you doing yoga and I knownow about your Miracle Morning, right?
Every day we jump on this call duringyour Miracle Morning, like so true.
That is something that.
So many people do theMiracle Morning, right?
So true.
And the thing is, if you want more moneyin your life, you've got to look at the
lifestyle of the wealthy and the richand join clubs and be in the circles.

(02:01):
Of course, the big thingis they get up and.
Put the, pants one leg at a time.
They're regular people, but you'vegot to be really respectful of
their time and talk about what'son their mind, not on your mind.
You're not there to sell anything.
That's how I built all theseinvestors, raised over 200 million.

(02:24):
$200 million, right?
Yeah.
200 million.
To buy the real estate.
Because I was listening to them, I wasfinding out what their goals and risks
profiles are, and then sharing thepacket of investment and they would say,
Winnie, okay, put me down for two 50or 500 or a hundred, things like that.

(02:45):
So regular people are regular.
Actually the wealthy peopleare even more simpler.
Hold on.
The people who are reallyflamboyant, many times they don't
have money in the bank becausethey're just showing it off, right?
Yeah.
But the real wealthy people, I readthat, millionaire Next Door book?

(03:08):
They said the watch they wear is 49 90 $5.
Watch from Walmart.
For each person who's listening tothis right now, and you're really
thinking about quality of life, wealth people, they're normal people.
I saw a video from Grant Cardone thismorning and he was saying, look, being
wealthy, like being at this level, hesaid that there's just, it's so lonely.
There's nobody who hasthese problems that I have.

(03:30):
Not even my wife can I goto and be like, because she
doesn't even know, like my play.
And my partners don't have to makethe decisions I have to make, and
sometimes I have to make decisions there.
That really the only personI could trust is myself.
'cause I'm the only one who'sever been in this scenario before.
And I, as you're going and you'regoing out through your, throughout
your life as somebody of high networth, it may make sense for you to

(03:50):
reach out to other people of highnet worth just to check in with them.
Just know that hanging out withother guys and women at your.
Wealth level, it makes a lot of senseto reconnect because it is so lonely
and we've done wonderful at managing it.
And we, yes, we get by and, butit is important to recognize that
at the top it is lonely and it isa different kind of loneliness.

(04:11):
Not like we just wanna hangout and, sit around a fire.
We want to hang out and talk throughsome complex things that are in our
heads that we're concerned about, yeah.
So true.
