That's right, it's the economy and we've all been stupid about it! And it's about time we wised up and adopted a permanent solution, instead of a bunch of manipulation. The fact is, this subject is not esoteric, and we've already had solutions, until some ill-intentioned oligarchs manipulated our politicians to slowly and covertly get rid of them. And they've been doing this to our country ever since the American revolution.
