I love stumbling across cosplayers who take a character and make it their own. One of those cosplayers is Amanda. You may know her as TheHauntedManda on socials. After finding her work and following her, I was glad she said yes to being on the podcast!
We start things off with a new to the podcast fandom, Arcane. Amanda talks about how she got into the show and if she played League of Legends prior to this. We discussed favorite characters, and what she'd love to see in the future. This is mostly spoiler free, as I was only 3 episodes into the show at the time of recording.
After Arcane, we continued in animation, with Disney's The Owl House. We discuss how we both found ourselves watching this show, the characters and storylines, and we lament how Disney did the show dirty with its final "season".
From one house to a bigger house, we find ourselves talking about Bridgerton. We first talk about Queen Charlotte, which is how Amanda got into the fandom. We talk about the series, the love matches and characters she likes, and who/what she's looking forward to in future seasons.
Lastly, we talk cosplay. If you haven't checked out Amanda's work, definitely do so now. Amanda talks about how she first got interested in cosplay, the characters she does and how she puts her spin on them.
