I love when people reach out to ask to be guests. Especially someone that puts the fan in fandom. Katie of Fandemonium Design joins me to talk about some of her favorite fandoms, plus her Fandom art and design work!
Katie says that her fandoms find her. As we talk about the different fandoms, you'll hear how these fandoms found Katie, and why she latched onto them.
The first one we talk about is Dr. Who. Katie talks about how she first stumbled into Dr. Who and what kept her watching. We talk about her favorite doctors, her favorite episodes, and why she keeps coming back to this fandom.
Next, we talk about Avatar: The Last Airbender. We talk about how we were both drawn to the show and how it continues to be the gift that keeps on giving with future works. Katie talks her favorite characters, what kind of bender she'd be, and more.
Then, we're off to the 'Verse. Katie and I talk about the beautiful ship Serenity, and the Firefly TV series. Katie's entrance into the world of Firefly came a lot differently than some people, and its a fun story to hear. We talk about characters that she likes, some of the stories she enjoyed, and the 'verse itself.
Lastly, we're talking about her work with her business, Fandemonium Design. Katie talks about how she started off with her art and how its evolved over time. We talk about some of the fandoms she's drawn, how she comes up with her designs, and what she has planned for the future.
