D-I-S-R-E-S-P-E-C-T Sock It To Me!

There is a new breed of administrator and teacher being hired for the sole purpose of implementing common conformity education programs -- like Common Core and College and Career Readiness. These newbies are not focused on improving teaching and learning, they are focused on making sure their schools are conforming to the demands of these inappropriate education programs. What this will eventually mean for American schools, is the profession of teaching will be replaced by part-time or temporary employees. The qualifications for the new breed will be lowered -- the qualifications will basically boil down to the ability to read scripted lessons and the aptitude to follow and conform to all directives from education leadership. Innovation, creativity, intelligence, open-minds, and problem solvers, will no longer be tolerated. These characteristics will threaten the common conformity education goal, which is another generation of mediocrity.  Currently, the only people standing in the way of this goal, are the great American teachers. Once those teachers retire or are bullied until they leave the profession.......there will be nothing standing in the way of common conformity in American schools.
