Speaker 1 (00:05):
Jai Sadama, everyone.
This is Sadhvi Sadheli Sri,here with my spiritual teacher
and guru, acharya Sri Yogish, for the 2023 Paryushan series of
Acharya Sri's podcast.
Acharya Sri is a respected, enlightened one who has helped
thousands of souls progress ontheir spiritual path and totally
transform.
Paryushan is an eight-daycelebration of the soul,
dedicated to reflection, fastingand spiritual learning.

(00:28):
Welcome to all of our newlisteners and thank you for
tuning in Paryushan.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Purve.
Paryushan Purve is a veryimportant celebration in the
this whole world.
Actually, everybody is in thethat mode that they want to be
close to themselves.
They find out who they are, theself.

(00:55):
To know the self is veryimportant because if you don't
know who you are, you will belost in this world.
And people are getting lostagain and again and again

(01:19):
because sometimes we think howwe have this life, we can enjoy
it.
I'm not saying not to enjoy it.
Life is not only to enjoy it.
Life is get to.
There is only one purpose ofthe human life, especially to

(01:44):
know yourself exactly who youare.
Otherwise this life will beuseless, it goes, it is wasted,
because this is the opportunityyou have given to you and this
opportunity is very rare.

(02:06):
According to Indian culture, there are 8.4 million lives.
After that you achieve thehuman life.
After 8.4 million lives.
Maybe you were wonderingsomewhere in the amoeba bacteria

(02:30):
, the most souls we found in thealgae.
If you have seen the greenalgae, it comes on the,
sometimes on the pond water, where the water stays along, or
in the muddy area.

(02:50):
That algae, they say, if youput even one finger, it has
infinite living being there andyou will be shocked.
They say we don't kill anyone,we don't take even the medicine,

(03:16):
medicine which is likeconventional medicine, which is
our allopathic medicine thatthey usually test on animals.
They put a lot of animal stuffin it.
But what about the homeopathic, homeopathic medicine?

(03:38):
They think it is not wirelessHomeopathic medicine.
It is done by the algae and inthe algae it is even.
You put your own finger in thatarea, in this much area.
That is an infinite soulbacteria and it is visible.

(04:00):
These days we have advancedtechnology.
Before when, 2600 years ago, mahavira was talking about this.
Mahavira was the 24thTirthankar enlightened master in
India and he was anextraordinary person.
His height was almost 12 feet.

(04:22):
It is just recently one persondied.
He had 8 feet height, 8 feetlong.
So 2600 years ago, when he wasborn, it was amazing period of
time.
It was war around everywhere, the kings.

(04:45):
They were fighting each other.
As soon as he was born, atleast there was peace and he was
talking about that.
I have seen this in algae, likeeven one.
He was talking about even oneneedle.
Forget, I am talking about thefinger.

(05:06):
Even you place the needle on it.
In that space is infiniteliving being.
That's why this Sansar.
This universe is never ending.
It is.
It is going to forever.
Many souls.
They are getting enlightened, they merge with God, but many

(05:29):
more to come.
It is always there.
It is never going to endbecause the soul going to
improve little by little.
They come from the algae tomore bacteria.
Maybe they will come into thewater.
Water has little, less livingbeing.

(05:51):
Do you think that you areliving without living being?
You cannot survive.
It is written in the Indianscriptures Jeeva Jeeva Se Bhujna
, that whoever is here, they areeating other living being.

(06:15):
Without eating other livingbeing you nobody can survive.
There is no water.
What is water?
Hto, h2o.
What is H2O?
It is a life.
Water is a life and if we drinkdead water it is not nutritious

(06:44):
enough.
So if the water is kind ofpolluted I am not saying that
you just get straight water fromthe stream or from somewhere
and think it is a crystal clearwater it can be some kind of
living being in it.
And if you do it and if youswallow that water it might

(07:09):
create trouble.
You are lucky if it doesn'thappen.
But that's why in the Perusiontimes, specially everybody.
They think that water you candrink, but drink it hot water.
You boil it after that let itcool down.
When you boil the water, allthe living being.

(07:33):
What is the water actually?
Water is the body of the livingbeing.
Our body is little solid.
Their body is very fragile butit is in bacteria.
Their body is very fragile, liquidy and in one drop of water

(07:59):
when 2600 years ago he saw atleast not countable living being
, they we call it asankya.
Count it is, asankya means itis like beyond your counting.

(08:26):
But now the scientists believenow in one glass of water there
is millions bacteria.
Can you believe you have totake million bacteria into your
body?
But that water has to be live.
If it is dead water, like hotwater, no living being in it, so

(08:49):
you can drink it, you cansurvive it, but it has no
nutrition in it.
Nutrition is only when it isliving being there.
But why they boil the water?
Why we suggest to boil thewater?
Because if it is anything elseexcept bacteria, there must be

(09:12):
the watery spoil.
Already it got rotten.
Can you believe if you drinkingthe water from the water
plastic bottle and that's whatpeople think it is a fresh water
In the plastic bottles?
If you are buying those youdon't know when they are packed

(09:35):
up, number one, and after awhile in the plastic bottle it
will going to create trouble, because water cannot stay
forever fresh.
It will begin to spoil and ifyou will see, there must be

(09:59):
little algae in it.
But it is the color of wateralgae.
Usually it is a green, but inthe bottle and if somebody will
drink that water it is a bigtrouble in the body Because your
body is not able to digest thatwater.

(10:20):
It happened to me.
I was in Paris and I am usuallyvery careful.
Not even I will travel not todrink water.
I am knowingly.
They gave me water bottles andI was little bit not careful.

(10:41):
I drink the water.
I got first time very sick, myall muscles, I was not even.
I didn't have even to walk.
I couldn't walk and it's.
My body was totally hurt.

(11:02):
So what can happen?
I was eating food, very goodfood there.
Home made everything carefully, except I think the water was
bottled water.
Now I think if I go tosomewhere else, even bottled
water, you first boil it andthen let it cool down, you can

(11:27):
drink that water Even though allthe bacteria, which is
nutrition, into the water itstill it got killed.
So you are putting in your bodydead water, but that is the law
of the universe.

(11:47):
After 3 and half hours, or 3hours later, it began to grow
bacteria in the water.
Same, but at least it will notgrow other kind of living being
there, only water bacteria.
And water bacteria is verynutritious for your body.

(12:10):
Your body needs it.
If you don't, if you arelacking the good bacteria in
your body, you will be sickforever.
You need a good bacteria.
That's what I call Jeevo JeevaSabha Jinn.
Everybody is eating everybodyelse.
There is no way to survive.

(12:33):
Somebody asks In India, the Jainmonks that are you totally
non-violent?
He says yes, I took fiveMahabharatas, five great vows.
Non-violence is my first greatvow that I, no matter what

(12:54):
happens, I am not going to killanyone, no matter what situation
.
Even I am not still going tokill anyone.
Even I am in that situationthat there is no food available.
I will rather die, but I willnot kill any other living being
for my own hunger.
Somebody asked this question toMahavir, 2600 years old, same

(13:22):
question, and Mahavir has said Iam not 100% non-violent.
See, that is the differencebetween the people who are
ignorant and they think theyknow it and the person who is
enlightened.
Their answer will be totallydifferent.

(13:43):
That's, if we don't see you,you even renounced your clothes.
We don't see you kill anyone, right, he said.
But I breathe and your air?
What is air?
H2o?
There are more than 700,000gases in our, in this atmosphere

(14:12):
Minimum 700,000, it can be moreand they are all with the
living being.
They are all alive.
Oxygen is alive, but they arealive in their own way.
They have little, littlebacteria.

(14:32):
It is not visible to our eyesbut if you get inside you can
see the air too.
I was in California.
One girl came to me and shesaid I am very disturbed.

(14:52):
I said what happened to youthat whenever I go I see in the
like the air is hanging likethis.
I see I don't know what it isand I have hard time to breathe.
I see they are alive.

(15:14):
That I have to take a life andsay it is a natural process.
Even till Thangkaras they haveto breathe, no matter till this
body is there.
You can minimize the violence, but you cannot 100% be
nonviolent.
Even Tirthankara said I am not100% nonviolent and their

(15:40):
followers, monks, was asked inIndia.
They say I am nonviolent andnobody can be nonviolent till
the body is there, because yourbody has a heat and around the
air Air temperature is different, your body temperature is
different.

(16:00):
They are so fragile.
Even you are not breathing yourbody will still kill them.
Now how can you be 100%nonviolent?
The real spiritual people arethey try to minimize the
violence.
Like I tell people drink water, use water, because without using

(16:27):
we cannot survive.
But don't waste it.
If you are wasting you are aviolent person.
Like you can have the water youtake a shower, you wash your
clothes, you drink it, you cookit into it, that you are using

(16:50):
it.
But if you are wasting yourfaucet leaking, nobody is using
it, so it is kind of wasted.
Try not to waste anything ifyou are using it.
If you are using it, it is okay.

(17:10):
So you are trying to minimizethe violence everywhere in the
water In general.
In the beginning they consideredthe water is upkaya.
They call it upkaya.
Up means waterkaya means body.
Water has a body and I went tofirst time by Stoney Stoney is

(17:40):
our center there and they tookme because I knew that let's
take, we will show you aroundeverything.
They took me to the forest andas we entering to the forest.
Beautiful little country, butbeautiful country.

(18:03):
So when we were entering, thecar didn't allow to go there, so
we have to park the car andentering there was written First
thing I said what is written inthe Stoney language.
They translate for me Don'tdisturb water body.

(18:26):
This is the first time I haveseen after India, in one country
they consider water is a body.
Don't disturb water body.
What people do?
They go to the lake, they go tothe river and they start

(18:47):
throwing the rocks, stones, whatever, and children do it all
the time.
So it means we are disturbingit.
You can use it.
River doesn't say not to use me.
Right, use it, but don'tdisturb it.
If you are disturbing, you areinterfering in their life.

(19:10):
Don't disturb using it, becausenobody can survive without
living being.
Even your oxygen is alive.
If it is not alive, we cannotbe alive either.
Did you ever pray for oxygen?
You pray to God.
Did you ever thank to theoxygen?

(19:31):
Because of oxygen you are alive.
Real prayer is, if you aredependent on someone, say thank
you.
Thank you for the oxygen.
Without oxygen you will not bealive at all.
Go to moon.
It will take only three secondsto die there Because no oxygen.

(19:56):
Here they are thinking about it, they found it, but still it is
very difficult to go withoutoxygen.
It takes only few seconds tobecome, if they don't take their
own oxygen Right, because brainneeds constant oxygen and brain
is the one which keeps youalive.

(20:19):
So they learn those things.
Everywhere, no matter where yougo, is a living being.
Don't disturb it as much aspossible.
Everything, all nature, is verymuch giver.
It gives you.

(20:39):
If you have seen trees, trees, when they don't have a flower,
when they don't have anything,no blossoming.
All the branches are very high.
Then they begin to sproutflowers, then fruit, and the
fruit begins to grow.
And when it is time to ripe thefruit, you know what happened

(21:04):
to the branches?
Branches go down.
It is inviting you hey, I havea lot of fruit, you can come and
pick them.
If you cannot climb, brancheswill go even more down.
If nobody is taking that fruit, then tree will drop.

(21:26):
That's it.
I did my job.
Nobody is taking it.
Look at be like a tree.
He is a giver, he is alwaysgiving it and amazing thing is,
the tree is standing on oneplace and sometimes tree years

(21:48):
is thousand years.
Can you believe that you standon one place for even five days
and own one leg Tree is standingonly one, one trunk.
We call it one leg and thousandyears.

(22:10):
Sometimes Banyan tree hasthousand years, says People tree
in India they have thousandyears, says there are many trees
thousand years.
But trees, many kind of treestoo.
It is not only one kind of tree, they are giver, they are taker

(22:33):
too.
A lot of trees.
Be careful.
If you go to African junglethere are trees.
In English they say somethingyou can find out.
Their leaves are like verysharp.
As soon as a bird goes underthat tree, all the leaves they

(22:59):
come and they open up the leavesand the bird is sitting inside
and they eat it.
The tree eats it.
It is a meat eater.
Can you believe?
If any animal goes, all theleaves they will go down and
suck the blood and eat it.

(23:19):
What about if a human goes?
There is gone.
There are trees.
They are growing, they areimproving.
Also, they are going towards.
They have more sensation, theyhave more life, they are more
alive.
But usually trees are verygiver.

(23:40):
The best thing about the treesthey are still giving us the
oxygen, oxygen.
Without oxygen we will notsurvive and trees are the one
who gives the most oxygen in theworld.
That's what we say.
The lacking of the tree, norain, no oxygen.

(24:05):
H2o, hydrogen plus oxygen makesa water right, that's what it
happens.
As to the trees, they give youa lot of your life, not only the

(24:25):
food, they give you oxygen.
That's what I suggest to people.
If you live somewhere, you haveto plant trees around your house
, maybe 20 feet away.
It doesn't disturb yourfoundation of tree the roots.

(24:47):
If it is too close it mightdisturb, because you live in
luxuries houses.
There was no system before.
If you go to 100, 200 years ago, there was no system of like
sink inside or this, or theplumbing or there is anything.

(25:11):
The plumbing roots can breakyour plumbing to these days.
So it is have it real littlebit further.
If you have a 15, 20 feet awayfrom your house, but plant it.
I think the more oxygen, morerain.
We need it.
If we have more rain, we needto plant tree around the whole

(25:35):
world.
There is a joke One lady.
She said if you, the people whoare drinking of wine, just if
you tell them that we, if youwill plant one tree, we will

(25:57):
give you one bottle of wine.
If you plant one tree that by,I swear to God, the whole whole
earth will be green right away, because people are people, the
people who want to drink thewine.

(26:17):
How, one bottle, one tree we'llplant the whole earth will be
green right away.
It is a joke, but this is realjoke.
Real joke is we need greeneryand without greenery we cannot
survive.
Perusion is the time tominimize the violence.

(26:40):
Minimize the violence Whateveryou can do Possible.
What can you do If you don'twant to even try not to eat?
Why?
Because you minimize theviolence.
What jans do?
At least they don't have tostarve.

(27:03):
But what do they do?
We will not eat in thepollution, any green stuff.
Like they will not buy greenvegetables, fruits or anything
from the market.
At least we want to give alittle bit.
They can relax all greenery.

(27:26):
So eight days if you go to thejans home, no vegetables in your
food.
Everything is whatever isavailable in their home.
That's what they do, they try tominimize the violence.
At least they are on the rightdirection and the person who is

(27:48):
on the right direction.
One day it is possible thatthey will reach the highest
level one day, higherconsciousness they can live.
That's what I was talking about.
Ishibhasya Sutta, that, likethe head, is important.
Into your body, like the rootof the tree, is very important.

(28:10):
Same way, meditation is veryimportant.
Meditation, all spiritualpractices, among all spiritual
practices, jhanam taha, jhanamvidhi yate, meditation is very
important.
And what is meditation?
I was telling you, meditationis like the salt dissolve into

(28:42):
the water.
As soon as salt dissolve intothe water, salt disappears.
It becomes like a water.
Same way, all your mind, allyour thoughts, all your negative
or positive thoughts, they bothhave to be dissolved.
When you are both both things, everything duality is gone.

(29:07):
It means your mind is one.
First, make your mind, becauseyour mind is many kind of minds.
That's what I was trying totell you yesterday that we have
many different kind of mind.
A child has different, a youngperson has different, grown up

(29:31):
person has different Our mind.
You cannot count how many typesof mind we carrying it.
First you make anekchit.
Make one If you can make how Iam going to give you technique.
The best technique for themeditation is a very simple.

(29:52):
It's called tratka.
Tratka is a very efficientyogic technique.
I don't know how they discoverit, but it's the best technique
I have.
You have a white page, blankpage.
In the center of the page youput a 25 cents quarter and make

(30:18):
a circle around the quarterQuarter size circle in the
center of the page.
Fill up with the black ink.
It becomes a black dot, quartersize black dot.
Hang that paper to the wall, sit in front of it, make sure
the black dot and your eyes arethe same level.

(30:39):
Adjust the paper so it becomessame height, like your eyes, and
make sure your eyes distancebetween your dot and eyes
minimum 2 feet, maximum 3 feet.
And you don't have to doanything.

(30:59):
The meditation will begin tohappen right away.
How?
Because your different kind ofminds becomes one.
It's a very simple technique.
You look at it, don't blinkyour eyes and people think, hey,
if you don't blink it is goingto hurt Eyes.

(31:20):
Eyes, doesn't get hurt If youblink it.
It is the best technique forthe meditation.
If you don't blink it.
You look at it.
That black dot when you look atit, make sure there is no fan
around or air condition blowingon your eyes.

(31:40):
That can hurt.
But if simple, no wind, no airblowing towards you, and you
look at it, when you look at it,what is going to happen After a
minute, two minutes later, youare all thoughts, you are all

(32:00):
kind of mind becomes one.
You are all thoughts.
They begin to flow onedirection Because it is
scattered everywhere.
Now it is flowing one directionand I call it one pointedness.
When your thoughts flow in onedirection, you become almost one

(32:28):
mind.
When your mind is one direction, it has lot of power.
Mind is the biggest power youhave.
It is more than nuclear powerMind.
It has that much power it canblow up the whole world.

(32:50):
Luckily you don't know how tomisuse it.
I am going to tell you just touse it for the good purpose.
Make it your mind one.
When your thoughts begin to flowone direction, they have a lot
of power and you can use thatpower for your constructive way.

(33:16):
Like, suppose you practice thispractice for six months, 15 to
20 minutes a day, not much, youjust see it.
If you are IT people, you areon the computer, you have to
finish that project and projecttakes maybe eight hours.

(33:38):
You will be surprised.
Same project After six months.
You finish within six hours, two hours gap.
Why?
Because you practice it andwhen you practice it your mind
adjusts right away in onedirection.

(33:59):
In one direction.
When your thought flows in onedirection, you will be surprised
.
Lot of power, other power.
What can you do?
Like sun rays.
Sun rays, very much scattered, trillions of rays, trillions.
Not much power.
Accepting taxes, please, justSometimes too much sun, hot sun.

(34:25):
You have to have a cowboy hatBecause you want to also protect
your soldiers too, so they goout.
If they go out without hat, maybe it will going to burn you
alone.
It can harm you, but usuallysun doesn't harm much, doesn't

(34:46):
have much power.
Bad If you collect fewer raysof the sun, it has lot of power.
How you going to collect it andflow in one direction.
How you collect?
Maybe with the magnified glass.
If you have magnified glass, even tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny

(35:11):
magnified glass, it will go inone direction, one degree rays,
maybe 30 rays, and it createsfire.
If you go to the forest youdon't have a match, you don't
have anything lighter and youneed to cook something.
If you have a magnify glass, itworks.

(35:34):
Collect few rays, it createsfire.
You can cook something, right.
So that's what it is.
Mind is like that Mind when itbecomes one mind, an ek chit
becomes one chit.
We call it chit in Sanskrit.

(35:55):
So an ek chit, different kindof minds.
If it becomes one, it is calledone point and it means your
meditation begins and your allthoughts are going to dissolve
like the salt into the water, dissolve and when the thoughts

(36:16):
dissolve, everything it becomestotally different.
Then your meditation begins, and meditation it is
thoughtlessness state.
Your thought disappears, yourthought dissolves, your thoughts
totally go on and when thoughtsare gone, you are in the

(36:41):
totally peaceful state, totallycalmness, totally tranquility.
I will call it.
It's totally tranquility.
It is like you go to the underthe ocean.
On the surface it is lot ofhigh tides, lot of noise, like
ocean is roaring.

(37:02):
If you go to the full moon timeit's a roar kind of People love
it when they go to the ocean.
Wow, beautiful, high tides, right, but it's roaring.
You stay there maybe 8 hours.
You will get disturbed by thatnoise, right, but when you go

(37:26):
for a while it seems very good, everything seems beautiful.
But if on the surface, on theperiphery, it is very lot of
noise, same thing On the top, onthe surface, in our head

(37:47):
periphery, on the surface thereis lot of noise.
In your head there is alwayslot of noise, lot of thoughts,
like the ocean, same thing.
It's not a big differencebetween you and the ocean.
Maybe you are even more thanthe ocean.

(38:07):
Right, ocean is roars when themoon Full moon, but human is the
only one Roars all the time.
They cannot stop.
They cannot stop One wife.

(38:27):
She was asking her husband ifyou have a choice to marry.
That is an option I am going togive you To marry someone.
He is a dark girl, a white girl, a beautiful girl, a educated

(38:56):
girl or very much working girl, what you will choose.
He was already married.
He said just just I am kind ofwant to know what kind of person

(39:17):
are you.
I told you you didn't give meone option more that.
What is the option that youforgot.
Give me one more option.
What one Mute that you didn'tgive me the option mute, I will

(39:39):
marry that, right?
Well, she got so angry becauseshe was always talking to you,
right?
That's what happened with thepeople.
I am telling you, when you arein the total calmness, total

(39:59):
tranquility it is calledtranquility you go under the
ocean, go 100 feet down.
What you will see water evendoesn't move On the surface.
There is a big noise Underneathyou.
Go 1000 feet down.
What you will see there youhave goggles there.

(40:20):
You can see everything, noteven moving is totally total
tranquility, total peace, totalcalmness.
Same way, if your head, in yourhead, there is a mind and it is
different kind of mind on ekchit, various types of the mind

(40:48):
If it becomes at least one typeof mind, I call it one
pointedness, and your meditationbegins.
Trotka is the best way to startmeditation and it doesn't hurt
your eyes On the top.
You will get lot of powerbecause it is hidden inside of
you and you don't know what isyour power.

(41:18):
You are always begging from theGod.
God, give me this, god give methis.
God give me this.
God already gave you, but youdon't recognize it and the time
you recognize it is your time isover.

(41:40):
One man became a friend with theGod of the Death.
We call it Yamraj, yamakaSanskrit there are different
names.
The God sent a messenger.
That messenger's name is calledYamaka Yamraj in our language.

(42:02):
It comes to you and take awayyour life.
So one person he was sittingaround and suddenly a beggar
came and the beggar asked hey, Iam very thirsty, can you give

(42:23):
me the water?
The person got so angry and hesaid hey, you disturbed me.
I was working some kind of.
He went to the other person.
He was kind of enjoying the sun, but he had the water.

(42:45):
He asked him can you give, takeit, take it whatever?
He said thank you.
Do you know who am I?
I don't know, but I know only Isave your life.
You were thirsty.
You could have died in thisscorching hot.

(43:08):
He said I am Yamraj.
I said you, yamraj?
Okay, I want friendship withyou.
Then you promise you will nevertake to me?
I said yeah, I want, we arefriends, but I give you warning

(43:32):
at least Before I come, that atleast give me the warning that
this is my duty.
I will still come, but I giveyou at least warning.
Okay, if you give the warning, that is the best thing.
So let's see if you are passive.

(43:53):
He said okay, what is my trustthat I am giving you this book?
He gave the book and you haveonly five minutes and in five
minutes you decide otherwise andwhatever you will wish, I will

(44:17):
give you today Whatever you wish, okay.
First page he opened.
It was written today yourneighbor is going to whatever
you will write on the page, youwill get it today.

(44:38):
First page he opened.
It was written your neighbor isgetting ten million dollars.
Lot of winner.
No, this is not right.
Don't let him win, right.
Second page he opened that yourneighbor, which is always it's

(45:03):
your competitor, always competewith you.
He's getting promotion today.
No, promotion, right, that'swhat happened.
We want to ourselves everything, everything we want for
ourselves.
Third page it was writtensomething else.
It was given five minutes towrite something, right, and by

(45:30):
the time he was condemning, hewas reading everything, because
he was in another page it wasempty page.
At least he began to write hetook his pen away that your five
minutes is over.
You wasted all your fiveminutes from the others, that I

(45:53):
cannot help you.
You had a opportunity to be awhatever you wish today, but you
lost it.
Bill Gates, a very wise person.
No wonder he is a billionaire.
One lady she went to him thathey, you are billionaire, I want

(46:18):
to be rich.
Give me some kind of things soI can be rich.
He said you want to be rich?
He gave her a blank check.
That right, whatever you want, whatever number you want.
He said no, no, no, I want tobe rich, not by this way that

(46:43):
you are giving me.
Give me the technique, takeyour check back.
He took the back and he saidtell me now how you can become
rich.
That look, I gave you theopportunity today to be whatever

(47:07):
you wanted, to be billionaire, whatever but you lost this
opportunity.
I never lose any opportunity inmy life, so the opportunities
are very much in with you, butwe are losing it.

(47:32):
You become human.
That's the biggest opportunityto become, to come into the
human body.
It takes 8.4 million livesbefore to get it.
This is the highest peak.
Actually, human life is likeyou are standing on, maybe 8.4

(47:58):
million living beings on the topof them.
That's what human body'sopportunity is.
But to get this opportunity, what we waste it Because we
waste from to the other.
Oh, your neighbor is gettingmillions.

(48:19):
No, no, don't give to him.
You wasted to.
Really, your neighbor isgetting promotion today.
No, no, promotion.
He's very bad person, right?
Everything we waste to for theothers, but we don't think about
ourselves.
If we begin to think aboutourselves, I am telling you this

(48:44):
is the biggest opportunity.
And human is the only body, human body is the only body
which has developed mind.
And developed mind is a cursebecause we misuse it.
But same time is a blessing Ifwe know how to use it right way.

(49:09):
Tratka is to use the right way.
When you do this, tratka, youwill be surprised that your mind
becoming one and to make onemind is very important In the,

(49:31):
there are many things to talkabout perusion, but when your
mind become one inBhagavad-e-Sutra.
Bhagavad-e-sutra is onescripture of Jain which is 12
chapters and 10th Gatha.

(49:52):
In it, gautam Swami was thechief disciple of Mahavira.
He is asking him a questionthat is a soul is one or soul is
many?
His question was tell me aboutthe soul Mahavira told in the

(50:13):
Bhagavad-e-Sutra.
This is, I told you that,36,000 questions answered there.
One of that one, theenlightened one, answered that
basically in the, if you willsee, they are eight kind of soul
.

(50:33):
I can categorize them.
First category is Dravya Atma.
Dravya Atma is a gross, grosssoul kind of.
Dravya Atma means when a Atmais a soul merge with the body.
Any kind of body, the humanbody, our soul is merging it.

(50:58):
If there is no soul, you are notalive.
You are alive because there issomebody is there which is
totally aliveness there.
The soul has a few symptoms.
Soul knows your body doesn'tknow it.
If soul is not inside, yourbody will not feel hot, cold,

(51:20):
right.
If this is a light or heavy, ifthis is a smooth or rough, if
this is a hard or soft, whofeels it inside the body?
Who is alive After dead body?
The soul is gone and body isstill there.

(51:42):
Body doesn't feel anything.
But, for your knowledge, evenperson dies.
You don't know the secret.
I am going to tell you.
Even the body is sitting in themortuary, mortuary house.
What do you call that Mortuaryhouse, mortuary, that house?

(52:04):
They waiting.
Still the dead body is therebecause it might take to funeral
, maybe after 8 days, 10 days, 2weeks, it depends on right, and
they take care of it, the deadbody, they clean it everything.
But even person dies.

(52:25):
You will be surprised.
Their nails still grows, theirhair still grows, because body
is combination of all bacteria.
Those bacteria still alivethere.
People don't know those things.

(52:46):
They still grows, their hairgrows but they don't feel
anything, though it's, a growthis there but feeling is gone
because soul is gone.
So basically, all living being, they have a soul, their own body

(53:09):
, they live it.
That is called dravvya atma.
Animal lives in their body, human lives in their body, birds
live in their body, littlecockroach live in their body,
right, and they all love theirown body.
That is called dravvya atma.
Jiva atma, age soul with thebody, any kind of that is

(53:35):
dravvya atma and everybody hasthis, even somebody get
enlightened.
Same soul there.
But it's more clarity Ifsomebody become a siddha, soul
is still there, right, becometotally free, liberated, merge

(53:57):
with God.
Even it's still called dravvyaatma.
It's basically the soul, it'saliveness.
Everyone has.
That is the first kind of soulit has.
Everyone has Second kind ofsoul category.
He said it is like a kashayaatma.

(54:19):
Kashaya Kashaya means like whatwe hold inside of us Anger, ego
, deceitfulness, greediness.
These are kashaya Kashaya meanskashiti kashaya.
They are polluting your souland they are coming out of

(54:43):
outside of somewhere.
You are not born with it, butyou got trapped into it.
Kashaya atma, the way we laugh, the way we enjoy, the way we
become sad, the way we becomehappy, this is all Kshaya.

(55:04):
It is all Kshaya Atma.
Kshaya Atma means polluted souland everyone has this, except
the person who got liberated, fully liberated, 100% liberation
.
Become Siddha.
We call it Siddha.

(55:24):
Siddha or merge with God.
That doesn't have those Kshaya, that is not a call.
Kshaya Atma, that is, exceptthem, everyone has a Kshaya Atma
.
Third Gatma is Yogatma.
Yogatma means we have a mind,we have a speech, we have a body

(55:49):
, mind, body and speech.
This is called three kind ofyoga, three kind of combination.
And this is whoever has it,this most of Atma, most of souls
.
They have it, they have theirbody.
They have maybe not developedmind.

(56:11):
They have their own speech.
Even little tiny plant, theyhave a speech.
Do you know that?
You can hear them sometime theytalk to you.
I guarantee you, if you sitwith one plant every day, that

(56:32):
plant will give you more flowers.
If you sit with the tree andthink about the good thing about
it, you are very good.
You give a shade.
You give us this Very positivethought.
That tree next year will giveyou lot of roots to you.

(56:54):
They hear you, they feel you, they sense you, but they don't
have a speech like we have, butthey talk.
It is us.
We don't understand them, butthey understand you, they catch

(57:14):
your vibration.
We are so tough, we are sorough, we are so hard, we are so
much taken into our desires, lust and this, and that Our body
becomes not sensible anymore.

(57:37):
We wish the way we were born, our body were very sensitive.
Now it becomes very tough, wedon't even feel.
Hey, if a baby is born, it willfeel the vibration from the
plant, but you don't feel it.

(57:59):
If you become that, they cancatch your vibration and that
tree, that plant, will give lotof beautiful flowers.
You will be surprised.
You can test it.
It is a scientific theory andthat's why Mahavira said don't

(58:24):
disturb anyone.
You can think about good, aboutothers, but don't disturb place
.
Because if you are negative, ifyou go near the plant, it is
scientific and they have done itand you think about this plant,
I am going to kill it.
It shakes that plant, but wedon't feel it.

(58:49):
Right, so it is.
Everybody is alive, yogatma.
Yogatma means they don't have adeveloped mind.
We have more.
They don't have a developedbody.
We have more.
They don't have a developedspeech.
We have more developed speech.

(59:10):
That is called Yogatma.
And I will suggest you, whenyou have this human body and you
have your mind, your speech andyour body, if you want to grow,
just have a discipline on them, nothing else.
Discipline Very important.

(59:32):
Sometimes we slip ourdiscipline.
It happened to me.
I am going to give my ownexample.
I came from India for the firsttime.
I didn't know the English much, but my students in California
Indians, only they approached me.

(59:54):
Can you teach meditation to thepoor people?
I always teach it and I knewthat much English.
I can teach in English, meditation at least.
Not maybe conversation or givelectures, but because it is easy

(01:00:15):
steps.
So I will teach and they haveto do with me.
Little practical stepsBreathing this, that little
exercise and this.
You can teach that much I willteach.
But they are homeless.
We want to feed them.

(01:00:36):
We feel love for them.
If you can teach, oh yeah, Iwill teach.
I went with them.
It was in the park, beautifulweather in Southern California,
beautiful weather.
They were sitting on the grass.

(01:00:57):
They have my only one chairthere for me.
All the food was on the tableand they were sitting in front
of me.
The bridge was blowing fromtheir side to my side and I felt
uncomfortable.
Very bad smell.

(01:01:19):
It suddenly slipped.
I became little, not aware, slipped from my mouth.
What kind of people are you?
Just because I didn't know theculture yet First time.
One lady screamed we are whitetrash.

(01:01:42):
I never heard the white trashword.
First time I heard trash, howcan it be white?
I didn't know.
It is slang here.
I didn't know anything.
White trash Organizer came tome.
Please don't ask question.

(01:02:02):
Can you teach them meditation?
They are into the drug he iswhispering into my ear.
Okay, okay, I told them onehour and after one hour they
were really receptive.
It's not that they were not, they were enjoying it.

(01:02:25):
I saw it.
As soon as I finished mymeditation class they started
serving them food.
I told them can you take mychair a little further, because
I am coming from that country.
You know, maybe it's botheringme little smell Different.

(01:02:48):
I am not used to it.
Maybe they are into drug orsomething.
I cannot tolerate that smell.
But I found out, because I amvery sensitive.
I found out why they are sopoor.
I am going to tell you theydon't have a discipline on their

(01:03:09):
speech, like I lost it for awhile, unknowingly.
It happened sometime, but whenthey were eating they were
enjoying the food and theycheered, cheering.
I don't know why people, whenthey eat, they talk and they

(01:03:32):
love to talk and they weretalking.
I put my ear a little bit.
I couldn't believe.
Not a single phrase.
They cannot make without S andF words In their language.
The way they will speak thelanguage?

(01:03:55):
Not a single phrase.
They always use words as an F.
I was shocked and I found out.
No wonder they are poor.
Let me give you the one secrettoday If you believe in God, god

(01:04:17):
doesn't like only one thing.
God likes everything except badwords.
I will suggest you, even youare angry, even in angry way,
don't use the bad word, becauseGod doesn't like the bad words.

(01:04:39):
Even you are angry.
I am talking about Forget.
If you are okay, you arepeaceful, you are calm, don't
use it.
But even you are angry, don'tuse the bad word.
God doesn't like it.
It means God doesn't like.
God is not giving you what youwant.
Actually, if you pray to God,they say God gives you.

(01:05:05):
God doesn't give what you wish.
You want good thing for you,but God gives.
He is a giver, like a tree, heis a whole nature.
He is a giver.
But God doesn't mean that whatyou wish, that is good for me.

(01:05:31):
No, no, no.
God will give you what will begood for whole of your life.
But sometimes we, we just getangry on God.
Hey, I ask this and you givingme this right.

(01:05:53):
Sometimes you never know whatis going to happen.
A poor guy.
A poor guy.
He lives in the forest.
He doesn't have anything, hehardly hand to mouth.
All the time he works.
He works all the time but hedoesn't get anything.

(01:06:15):
Somehow he found the way thatif I cut the wood and sell it
into the market, then I will berich.
Somehow he made a heart and hebecame so happy that he has a
shelter at least and he went towork.

(01:06:37):
That God, you are so muchcompassionate, so much giver,
you give me the heart.
And he was working one day andsuddenly he saw from far away
the heart is in the fire.
It was burning.

(01:07:01):
The heart was burning and hegot lost.
This man was lost.
Why?
He was in the forest?
He got lost.
He was a rich man but he gotlost somehow and he was not
finding the way.
What to do?
Little bit, here and there.

(01:07:22):
Couple of families, they usedto live, he used to sell them.
Only he totally was lost.
And they were searching him,but it was forest.
It was no way to find him.

(01:07:44):
They tried to find him.
He was a rich man, helicopters, working, everything.
His heart got fire.
He was so sad.
God, what you did?
You gave me something and youtook away everything from me.
He was crying.
Suddenly the people came tosearch him and they found him.

(01:08:14):
They said how did you find me?
Fires, we were searching thatif there is a fire, there is a
person there.
Thanks God, I didn't know that.

(01:08:34):
I didn't know.
You burned my heart.
Look, god, give you what isgood for you, but we don't track
, organize it.
We what we do.
Thank God, you are not goodLike what you did.
You burned my heart.
But next day he was sayingthanks God, you burned my heart.

(01:09:00):
You never know what is going tohappen.
God always gives you what isgood for you, even suffering,
even pain.
But we just accuse the God.
What you doing with me?
I am suffering.
Maybe you go through thatperiod of time, you become a

(01:09:27):
fully blossom one day.
But if you don't go throughthat period, of time, you don't
know what poverty means.
In the school a teacher wasasking a prince that tomorrow
you everybody writes and bringthat article.

(01:09:48):
What is poverty?
A prince came next day.
Give to the teacher thatarticle.
That I know a poor man.
He was working in our garden.
He was a gardener.
He was so poor.
He is working in the royalgarden.

(01:10:11):
He is so poor that he has fourchildren.
They used to come.
Their clothes were not like us.
We used to give our clothes.
They were so poor children.
The prince doesn't know whatpoverty means.
A gardener of the royal familycannot be a poor.

(01:10:34):
He is not familiar with thereal poverty.
If you don't go through thatpoverty, you don't go through
this ups and downs in your lifeMaybe God gave you purposely.
The outcome will be verybeautiful, like the burning the
heart he was accusing God andnext day he is thanking to the

(01:10:59):
God Right.
You never know what is going tohappen.
So have a discipline on yourmind, on your space, on your
body.
If you don't have a disciplineon your body, you keep eating,
eating, eating Whatever you likechocolate, chocolate, chocolate

(01:11:20):
or sugar, sugar, sugar.
You are going to ruin yourpancreas and pancreas is the one
who is keeping your life.
Pancreas.
It is 24 hours producinginsulin.
But if you keep eating too muchsugar, pancreas is the one

(01:11:43):
first who is going to be ruined.
You are ruining that littleinstrument which is producing
insulin into your body.
Right?
And if insulin doesn't merge, doesn't dissolve into your blood
, your blood cannot circulateinto your body.
It requires insulin.
Diabetic people they ruin thatlittle pancreas.

(01:12:09):
They have to take shots tomerge with the blood.
See, god, you don't havejustice.
I have to take shots every day.
It is easy to accuse God, butnot to accuse yourself, right?
Perusion means a day ofaccusing yourself.

(01:12:35):
Nobody is bad except you.
Kabir in India, he wrote 400years ago that I went to find
who is the bad person, that Itried everyone, that I never

(01:13:06):
found a bad person in the wholeworld, that whenever I try to
search myself, to look at myself, I think I am the worst one.
That is the perusion's messageLook at yourself, don't look at
others.
It is easy to finger point onthe others.

(01:13:28):
You are bad, you are bad, youare bad.
But you forgot three fingerpointing towards you that you
are three times worse.
Perusion means be aware I allfocus on the self, that maybe

(01:13:50):
you in this biggest storage, what you are carrying in this
human body's mind.
What is called mind is thebiggest storage, infinite
information in it.
If you will start digging that, you will find trillions,

(01:14:11):
trillions of bad stuff there.
You need to take them out.
How you take them out?
Meditation is the biggest fire.
That fire, if begin to burninside of you, that is going to
burn all the bad information.

(01:14:32):
That's what I suggest to peopleInstead of following religious
rituals, doing something else, they might help you a little,
but if you want to really helpyourself, find the real thing,

(01:14:52):
is meditation.
Meditation.
There is no duality in it, onlyyou.
There is no hope from othersthat they will protect me, they
will do this, or there is noeven little wish, little want

(01:15:16):
from God, because in meditation, your mind is totally dissolved.
Now, when mind is dissolved, you are left alone.
And when your day will come, you understand 100%.
You are alone.
And if you begin to live inaloneness, that is the beauty of

(01:15:40):
the human life.
Aloneness is the beauty.
But if you are lonely, you aresuffering.
I don't consider loneliness.
In loneliness, you are missingothers.
It means you are not inmeditation.
And when you are alone, inaloneness, meditation happens

(01:16:07):
automatically.
But can you be alone?
Totally?
Yes, you can.
It will create a fire.
It will begin to burn all inthis biggest storage, at least
the bad stuff, and when the badstuff begins to burn, you need

(01:16:31):
to know all kinds of atmas youare carrying.
Kashayatma, third one.
Before I forget, let me finishat least it Upyogatma, upyogatma
in the fourth one.
Upyogatma means what is thesymptom of the soul?

(01:16:51):
The symptom of the soul is verysimple uvavog lakhno aaya.
I am repeating in the prakritlanguage uvavog lakhno aaya.
The symptom of the atma or soulis uvavog upiog.

(01:17:13):
Upiog means like you know it,like you know that there is a
mind, there are thoughts, thereis a body.
You know it, all this.
And there is a speech.
If you don't know it, like ifyou are in an unconscious mind,

(01:17:38):
you don't know it.
You are in an unconscious mind.
You will know everything thatwithout soul, you will not feel
it.
If there is a feeling, it meansthat is upiog.
Upiog means you know it.
There is a feeling, there is asensation, you know it.

(01:17:58):
This is called uvavog, thateveryone has this kind of atma
and siddha has this kind of atma.
But if you are with the yog, with your mind, with your speech
, with your body, and they aretaking you.
This is the biggest distractionIn meditation.

(01:18:22):
You forget all of them for awhile.
That's called meditation.
If you can forget, even for awhile.
Just try to be alone.
Loneness I call it beauty, butdon't be lonely.
Lonely, you are missingsomething.

(01:18:44):
When you miss something, yousuffer.
When you are alone, you enjoy.
Loneness is the beauty.
And if you can enjoy that, ifyou can understand that, what is
uvavog Right?
Knowing what is upiog Right?

(01:19:06):
Vision, what is upiog Rightconduct, what is upiog Right?
Virya Anant, darsha anant viryastrength, you are full of.
You are the strongest person inthe world, but because your

(01:19:26):
strength, it is hidden somewhere.
Till you begin to burn, throughthe meditation, all this
garbage which you store sincecenturies into the biggest
storage, into the mind.
Mind is the biggest storage.
So till you will not know howmuch strength you have, you can

(01:19:52):
move the whole world in your ownone finger.
I have that much strength, butyou don't know it.
You have that If you increaseyour power inside of you, but
you are not aware about it.

(01:20:14):
But the power is hidden insideof you.
You have to burn all this stufffirst through the meditation.
Meditation is the biggest fireand in this upiogatama they
begin to sense it, they begin tofeel it, they begin to
experience it, they begin torealize it.

(01:20:35):
This is upiogatama.
Next one is jnanatma.
Jnan means samyajnana.
Samyajnana means rightknowledge.
People have knowledge andpeople have a lot of information
, but they are wrong information, wrong information they will
not take you anywhere.

(01:20:56):
But right information, rightknowing, take you in the right
direction.
Right knowing, right vision andright conduct these are the
things.
If you can improve in yourself, your soul becomes jnanatma,
darshanatma.

(01:21:17):
Next one, sixth one Darshanatmameans like you develop your
vision so much that withoutthese eyes you begin to see
things, because the real eyesare hidden inside of you.
Real eyes will be awakened, will be activated by many ways.

(01:21:43):
Meditation is the simplest way.
You want to activate your thirdeye, which is hidden.
You better meditate Darshanatmaand you will begin to see your
own self, the self.
Next one is charitratma.
Charitratma is a seventh.

(01:22:03):
Charitra means conduct.
If your behavior, your habitsare, you are away from all bad
stuff.
It means you have a rightcharacter, right conduct and
right conduct is very importantIf somebody is following in that

(01:22:25):
right conduct, right behavior, right habit, how to behave with
other people, how to behave withyourself.
You are all discipline.
That's called right conduct,charitratma, and it's viri-atma.
Viri-atma is you are full of theinfinite power and soul has

(01:22:55):
infinite power.
If you can do this, if you will, that is categorized.
You can improve.
Little by little your atmabecomes siddhatma-vande.
Siddhatma means liberated one.
And remember, nobody hindrance, blockages on your way, only you

(01:23:20):
.
That's what in uttara-den sutramaybe you remember still I told
you in chapter 20 and 36,shloka Appa katta vikattaya.
No, no, sorry, appa nahivairani, appa me kudasamali,

(01:23:43):
appa kamaduhadhenu, appamenandhanam vanam.
Chapter 20 and 36, Gatha, youwill write Appa nahi vairani,
your atma, the self, is yourriver of bhaitharani.
In the river it is.
In Christian scriptures, muslimscripture, hindu scripture, jain

(01:24:08):
scripture, baud scripture theywrite that in the hell there is
a river.
The name of the river isvaitarani.
Vaitarani means it looks sobeautiful and in the hellish
living being they are alwaysthirsty.
They want water.

(01:24:29):
And who is making them suffer?
They are very kind of badangels.
They are on the duty.
They make them suffer and theyenjoy it.
When they scream, when they cry, when they cry with the pain,
