Acharya Shree continues his deep dive into soul and meditation. There are two things eternal, soul and matter. Matter has 5 elements and matter is also karma. Soul + Matter = jivatma (a living being); Soul - Matter = paraatma (God); thus Soul is God.

An inner click and awakening are glimpses into the soul where you begin to realize the non-truth of the world and the truth of your soul. When the clicks are too strong, it's difficult to continue living in illusion because now you've connected to soul. But the journey doesn't stop there, you must begin to work on your lower qualities, especially your ego.

The ego blocks all the souls light, so it is important to start dissolving it. Ego is the real sin and keeps you away from soul. When you meditate and enter the higher states of meditation and consciousness you realize more and more you are soul and not the mind. That is how to dissolve your ego. Unless you are in a higher state the ego will control and ruin your life.

In the Paryushan Series of 2023, Acharya Shree  focuses on Meditation and sharing tips, techniques and teachings to help you arrive at your self. The path to Godhood is through the human body, are you ready for it?

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Jai Sadama, everyone.
This is Sadhvi Sadheli Sri,here with my spiritual teacher
and guru, acharya Sri Yogish, for the 2023 Paryushan series of
Acharya Sri's podcast.
Acharya Sri is a respected, enlightened one who has helped
thousands of souls progress ontheir spiritual path and totally
transform.
Paryushan is an eight-daycelebration of the soul,
dedicated to reflection, fastingand spiritual learning.

(00:28):
Welcome to all of our newlisteners and thank you for
tuning in.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Paryushan Purve, the purest spiritual celebration.
It talks about only about theself, the soul.
And soul is the only one whichis eternal.
There are another materialwhich is eternal to matter, soul

(00:57):
and matter.
What is matter?
Whatever is visible in thisworld, that is called matter.
Our body is made out of matter.
It has five elements earth, air, fire, water, space.
That is five elements.

(01:19):
That is the combination of ourbody.
This is all matter.
Only two things are eternalhere.
Two elements are eternal eithersoul, either matter.
When the soul mix with thematter, it becomes a Jeeva.

(01:45):
Jeeva means living being.
No matter it is a bacteria, nomatter it is a bea, no matter it
is a other creature, littlebugs.
They carry two things soul plusmatter, the combination of the

(02:05):
matter.
When it comes in the, itconnects with the soul.
It creates a Jeeva, livingbeing.
We call it living being.
They can be invisible, they canbe visible.
Bacterias are not visible, butwith advanced technology it is

(02:28):
visible now.
But our naked eyes cannot see.
It is a very simple theory.
When soul plus matter, mathematically, if you want to
understand, it is a very simplething.
When soul plus matter, itbecomes a Jeevatma equals

(02:54):
Jeevatma.
Jeevatma means like livingbeing that is called Jeevatma
and all these karma matter is akarma matter has a particle.
Like karma has a particle too.
Karma are visible.
Whatever you do, they arevisible.

(03:14):
People get angry and theycollect the bad karma Right.
Anger has a particle, but it isnot visible through our naked
eyes.
But when person is angry, youcan see it, the energy vibration

(03:34):
around that person.
You will be uncomfortable.
So it is visible, it is Karmais visible.
Soul plus matter or soul pluskarma is the same thing Equals
Jeevatma.
If somebody wants to liberateherself himself, there is a

(04:01):
mathematical formula Soul plusmatter equals Jeevatma.
Soul minus matter.
Subtract the matter from thesoul, it becomes Paramatma.
Paramatma means God.
So you have that ability tobecoming God, but you have to

(04:28):
release, or you have to divorce,or you have to renounce all
this matter.
You have to renounce all thiskarma and it becomes a pure soul
, and pure soul is equals toParamatma.
Pure soul, nothing left in it,no matter.

(04:52):
Combination is broken.
Once the combination is broken, matter becomes separate, soul
becomes separate, and now soulcannot be connected with the
matter Because it becomes thepurest soul, and once somebody
becomes pure, it cannot beimpure again.

(05:13):
So now the question arisesAccording to their faith of
religions, that if Mahavirabecomes pure soul or Buddha
becomes pure soul or, accordingto Christianity, Jesus becomes
pure soul, do they come backagain?

(05:36):
Once you become pure soul, onceyour combination is broken, you
become like a gold.
I am not talking about thediamond.
Diamond is not as valuable asgold days.

(05:57):
I am going to give you anexample.
I was talking one day that yourfriends are like a diamond.
Your friends are like a diamond.
But your brothers, sisters, your own family, they are like a

(06:20):
gold.
Your friends are around you.
If you are in lot of prosperity, you are making good money, you
have nice cars, you have nicehouse, Everything is green Means

(06:41):
, everything is prosperingaround you.
Lot of your friends, they arelike diamonds.
As soon as something happens inyour business or video, they
are the first one to leave you.
But your family, your brothers, your mother, your father, they

(07:05):
are like a gold.
They are like a gold.
Why they are so downward fromthe diamonds?
Your own family is like a gold.
I am going to tell you they arenot like a diamond Because if
diamonds little crack happen inthe diamond it is no value, but

(07:33):
a gold even it breaks Even.
We fight too much.
Even gold breaks, you canrecover it fully.
You take to the goldsmith.
They will melt it and they canmake whatever you want your

(08:02):
family, your brothers, yoursisters, even you don't get
along with them.
They are like gold and oncesomebody becomes a gold it is
hard to make it down.
It is very difficult To turn agold to the iron it is not

(08:26):
possible.
But iron you can turn to thegold.
One very poor guy, disturbed, confused, illusion, totally.
He was searching, discoveringsomething truth, Hand to mouth,

(08:48):
worn out clothes, but hisjourney.
He didn't want to live intothis world, he was finding
someone who can guide him.
He reached in the forest.
He saw a little hurt there.

(09:14):
A very kind of sage, a saint, amonk, was sitting inside the hut
.
He sat in front of him.
He was in meditation.
When he opened his eye he saidGive me something please.

(09:36):
I am starving, I am, I don'thave anything.
If you can bless me something,it can happen to me something.
He said Look, I have nothing togive to you.
I have nothing, I don't haveeven food.

(10:01):
I am sitting in the hut here, Iam meditating.
I don't have anything to giveto you.
You can go somewhere else.
But he insisted he didn't live.
He said Give me something, please Give me something.
He was begging, begging.

(10:23):
He said Look at it, Go thatriver, there you will find a
stone.
This stone is very valuable.
This stone is called Parisstone, Paris stone, Paris stone

(10:44):
is a special alchemy.
It is very rare to find.
But these shaffered people, shaffered boy, they know it
Sometimes what they do, Becauseit is rare to find it.

(11:04):
Maybe in the mountain, a littlerock, they put a special shoe
under their sheep's feet, Likethe horse shoe we plant into the
under the horse foot, Horseshoe, same way Sheep shoe or

(11:30):
goat shoe.
They do it and they havehundreds of sheeps and they go
sometime and they shaffered theyare looking in the evening
everybody's shoe.
Sometime it turns into the gold.

(11:51):
They try to find out where thestone.
As soon as it touches it itbecomes gold.
But they cannot find it.
But sometimes they are lucky.
A shoe turns to the gold.
He found that stone and he saidI am rich, I can make all iron

(12:18):
into the, Because as soon as youtouch the iron with that stone
it turns to be the gold.
There is alchemy also.
You can make gold.
There are scientists.
Now they are trying to makegold.
I have experimented this in myteenage, five years.

(12:39):
It is a long process.
You can make iron a gold, butthe process is so expensive it
is less value.
But there is now proven you canturn iron to the gold.

(13:02):
But he found the easy way and heran away.
He turned to the world butsuddenly something clicked to
him.
That's why I am so excited thismonk.

(13:26):
He knew it.
It is there.
He renounced it Must be.
He knows something else.
He came back to him.
He said take your stone, Idon't need it.

(13:46):
That you are the richest one.
Why don't you need it?
It means that it doesn't have avalue.
If it had a value, why did youthrow it away to the bank of the
river?
You knew it.
Give me something which isvaluable, that it is already

(14:10):
given to you.
He said the real valuable thingis when your soul is awakened,
when something clicks to you.
That is the most valuable thing.
All these things material,nothing valuable.

(14:34):
If you plant a little, suppose aplant, plant of spicy, like
chilies, that chili, that plant, after couple of month is begin

(14:57):
to give you the fruit and itgives you lot of chilies.
But if you plant a tree ofmango tree, it takes four years
to bring the fruit.
The process is little longernow and it can give.

(15:22):
The mango tree can give youfruit almost 200 years, but
chili plant can give you maybefor few months.
Right, Look at this difference.
Difference is that it can giveyou even 200.

(15:47):
I am giving you last time,Maybe it can go up to 400 years.
It gives fruit, fruit, fruit, but process is little longer.
You have to wait longer If youwant to get success in your life
in any way.
Believe in your efforts.

(16:11):
It takes maybe four years.
You have to wait, but you willgoing to get the fruit, you
going to get the result, yougoing to get the real thing.
But if you don't have apatience, he threw that stone
away.
He said that's what I wasdiscovering To find myself

(16:36):
clicked.
Anta-shchetna, Inner Awakening.
Inner Awakening doesn't happenunless something clicks to you.
If it doesn't click to you, that doesn't happen Because
there are so many distractions.
That's what I was telling you.

(16:58):
We have a problem.
A midnight, a man is sitting inhis hut.
He has nothing there.
He has a little lamp Like acandle and he was reading some

(17:24):
kind of scripture.
After midnight he had to go tobed.
He blew the candle off and assoon as the candle was blown out
, all the full moon lightentered into his hut.

(17:47):
The full moon light entered andit was lighted in his hut, he
said.
He began to think see how theclick will going to happen.
It can happen in any way.

(18:08):
It has nothing to do withscripture.
He was reading scriptures butit didn't happen to him.
By reading Bible, by readingGita, by reading Quran, by
reading any Talmud and JewishTorah, Torah doesn't mean it's

(18:30):
going to happen to you.
Or Jain scripture doesn't meanit's going to happen to you.
There are many scholars.
They memorize even their whole.
But click, it happened.
Wow, A little candle was ableto block the whole moon light

(18:56):
and it was outside.
But as soon as the candle isgone, the moon light entered
into my heart.
Click happened to him.
That's what we creating our lifelittle ego like a little candle
and those little ego everywhereis ego Ego.

(19:22):
Little money you made becomesso egoistic.
A car, you bought something, Ihave a Rolls Royce Become ego.
Ego entered into little.
All little kind of ego isblocking your light.

(19:45):
How?
A young girl came to my cell.
He said I have a question.
I heard your lecture severaltimes and you said Ego is a sin.

(20:05):
My question is if it is a sin,I have to go to hell.
Right, ego is a sin, bad.
My question is whenever I standin front of a mirror, when I see

(20:26):
myself into the mirror, I see Iam the most beautiful.
I had a most beautiful face.
Not only beautiful, elegant, not only elegant.
I am so gorgeous, I get so muchego.
He sent smile.

(20:51):
He said my child, false ego isnot a sin.
That's what we are wondering inthese egos everywhere.
I can categorize it, but itwill take a lot of time.

(21:16):
But yes, the little candle ofthe egos.
We are carrying maybe thousandsof candles and they are
blocking the light that isoutside.
They are blockers and when theyblock your light, the light of
the shining moon, the shiningsoul is totally blocked.

(21:42):
It cannot enter in you.
You have to remove all thesethings from your life and you
will be surprised that clickwill going to happen Right away.
Click doesn't take time tohappen.

(22:07):
It can happen right away Onceyou remove all these little
candles from your life of ego, that all false ego.
You think it is a sin.
No, false ego is not a sin.
Real ego is a sin.

(22:36):
Let me come to the point that Iwas talking about.
I was talking about themeditation.
Meditation can light your soul.
Meditation is not a false ego.

(22:57):
Meditation is a real lamp.
It is not like little candlesyou are carrying in it.
It can block the moonlight, itcan block all these little
candles, little egos, your lightfrom the soul.
So.

(23:17):
But meditation is a fire.
It can burn all these littleegos and it will be clarity in
front of you what they burn.
It Just Navijjati Rago, doshoMoho Ney Jog Parikamu Tas Suha,

(23:42):
suhu Dahno Jhaan Gaya Jaya Age.
Panchasthika Esar.
Panchasthika Esar is a onescripture of the Digambar sect,
Another sect, and it is abeautiful book.
It is a small book but it is,they consider.

(24:02):
It is a scripture 146 Gatha init, just in a Vijjati Rago, they
say that if person doesn't haveany attachment, rago means
attachment, if the attachmentbecause attachment is the one

(24:27):
who keeps us into the dark, ifsome, if you have a rock or if
you have an attachment towardsanyone and that person is very
bad person, suppose it has allshortcoming, does all the time

(24:49):
mistake, but if you are attachedto that person you don't see
their mistake Because you areattached.
Ragi, we call it Ragi.
Who is attached?
Ragi, dosho na pasyati Ragi.
Attached person cannot seeother person's shortcomings or

(25:09):
other person's mistakes Becauseit is attached.
But on the other hand, ifperson is hatred, hateful that
person.
If somebody is hate the otherperson, that person may be

(25:30):
carrying the lot of goodqualities.
He cannot see one good qualityRight.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Because he is a hateful.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
So think about it.
What you want to?
Just in a Vijyadi Rago, thatperson who removed already the
attachment from the life anddosho, and hate too.
One is hate, one is hater.
The two things Hater, hater isvery bad stuff.

(26:06):
Hate can be removed one day.
A person who is hateful can bevery loving one day.
But person who built the hater,it cannot be removed.
It is in your storage.
Little too much you collectinghate, hate, hate, hate.

(26:29):
It builds up, builds up, is aone layer of the dust, another
layer of the dust, another layer, hundreds, millions layers of
the dust.
It becomes hater.
You never forget, cannot sleep, cannot walk, cannot work.

(26:51):
Hater is the worst thing.
So is Raga.
Raga is also attachment is thesame and both are very much
suffering in the world and it isthe biggest blockage in your
meditation.
That's what they are tellinghere, that, just in a Vijjadi

(27:16):
Rago, the person who doesn'thave an attachment means not too
much, too much attachment anddosho and no hater.
And moho.
Moho means not illusion and jogparikam and their mind, their

(27:43):
body, their speech is not intoit, into the worldly thing, into
the suffering things, thesefour things they are talking
about.
Thus says Suha Suha Dhanu, thatwhatever their good thoughts or
bad thoughts coming into theirmind, dhanu, they begin to burn.

(28:08):
Suha and asubha.
Suha means good thoughts, asubha means bad thoughts,
because both are the blockagesyou think.
The good thoughts are not yourblockages, they are even worse
than the bad one.
But if you are not aware aboutit, let me give you an example

(28:36):
Handcuffs, they are made ofsteel, but you eat, eat, tie the
person, that person.
But you made that handcuff tothe gold.
It can tie too, but gold is agood stuff, but it ties too.
So both are keep you in thesuffering, in the suffering of

(29:02):
pain.
No matter it is a iron steelhandcuffs or gold handcuffs, it
doesn't matter.
Both they tie you, both theykeep you into the suffering.
So that's called shubha, shubhiyoga, good and bad.
When they begin to burn, thenwhat happens?

(29:26):
Jhani ayo jaayayay aggi, thenthe meditation fire will begin.
Meditation fire will happen.
And once the meditation firehappens, everything is going to
burn, everything.

(29:46):
And when it burns, your mindbecomes totally clear and
clarity happens.
Click is going to happen.
Without clarity, your clicknever going to happen.
Click can happen.
If there is no bad thoughts, there is no good thoughts.

(30:07):
Both.
Both are keeping you into theworld.
The time will come if youreally want to unblock or if you
really want to click somethingreal thing into you, if you want
to burn all your karma.

(30:29):
Karma is both good and bad.
They both keep you into theworld.
Time will come.
First you work on the bad karma, then time will come you work
on your good karma too, becauseboth they keeping you into the
world and when you out of cycle, then the meditation begins.

(30:53):
Meditation will not begin.
What is the technique?
Now I am going to give you thetechnique how you meditate.
If you follow this technique, you are able to meditate.

(31:16):
This is a book is written bysomeone.
It is called Parasna HoCharayam, parashranath life of
Parashranath, parasna HoCharayam.
It is written in Prakritilanguage, but that Parasna Ho

(31:39):
Charayam.
It is the page 359 to 367.
That one this is written there.
The technique Technique isParashranath is the 23rd
Tirthankar, 23rd Tirthankar ofJain system and it happened

(32:08):
almost 2900 years ago.
He is a very historical.
I have visited his, where hewas born, that place.
I was in that city and it's lotof memory came to me.
That time it was his palace.
Now it turned to be the templeof him and people go visit there

(32:32):
, 100,000, millions people ayear.
Varanasi, holy city of India, and somebody wrote about his
life Parasna Ho Charayam Givesthe technique there, what he
used to teach, puvabhimahouttermuhova hon sui samaya ho

(33:03):
jaya samai jutto sahasannathosui sariro.
That is the technique is giveninto that book.
Puvabhimaho, that you face yourface yourself.

(33:23):
Your face is towards the east, towards the east, or Uttermuho,
are you faced towards the northwhen you meditate?
He said that when you sit andhow to sit they will tell you

(33:47):
also First you face your eithereast side or north side.
Your face has to be towards thenorth or towards the east.
Sui Samayaro means age, likeyou have the very good thoughts.

(34:17):
Shuddha-achar means like you arein the good moods, totally
there when you are sitting intomeditation.
Shuddha-achar means like youclean your body, clean
everything, bathe or take ashower, because it will help you

(34:42):
everything.
If your body is perspiring, sweating, you might begin to
smell your body right.
So Shuddha-Acharo, that in yourmind also, all good thoughts
are coming.
It is called Sui Samayato JayaSamayi Jutto.

(35:08):
He said the meditator has to beSamadhi Yukta.
Samadhi Jutto means SamadhiYukta, that you are dissolving
your mind into the Samadhi.
Samadhi means now you are notdistracted, you are not here and

(35:33):
there, your thoughts are notspread all over, you are totally
like closing your eyes andsitting.
And how you sitting?
Sui Samadho, meditative posture.
What is the meditative postureMeans?

(35:57):
When you can sit and you feelcomfortable in any position.
Usually the yogis they sit intothe cross leg because there is
a system to.
If you sit in the cross leg, there are two nerves into your
hair.
One foot presses this nerve andanother foot presses this

(36:21):
side's legs nerve.
And those two nerves they areconnected to your brain and as
soon as they are pressed, youcan test on your body by
yourself.
You press, here it is, you canfeel a sensation, you can feel.

(36:42):
You can feel it is a beat, beatof those nerves and you can
feel it when you feel that beatand this side beat when your
cross leg.
It presses it.
So the beat is on the nerve.
Now you are putting pressure andas soon as you put pressure,

(37:06):
the beat speed will change.
When the beat speed will change, it is directly connected to
your brain and brain begins torelease certain kind of chemical
.
But if speed is not going tochange, it is not going to
create that kind of chemical.

(37:27):
As soon as it's brain creates, produce that kind of chemical,
you are totally in samavastha, you are totally.
Your thoughts disappear.
That is one way.
But if you cannot sit that way, whatever feels comfortable for
you, you can do it.

(37:47):
If you cannot even have halfcross legs sometimes they can do
half way, not the both legs sowhatever is good for you you can
do.
If you cannot even sit on thefloor, you can sit on the chair
and be created for people belowmeditation, below why we created

(38:14):
meditation pillow.
It is the.
If you sit on the pillow, yourbackbone becomes straight.
If your backbone is notstraight, meditation is not
going to happen.
Why?
Because if your backbone is notstraight, you are going to fall

(38:35):
asleep Instead of people thinkoh, you are in meditation, your
eyes are closed, so people think, but inside you are asleep.
Why?
Because if you sit like this, your backbone is not straight.
It has to be totally 90 degree, and when it is 90 degree, that

(38:58):
is the way in the yourmeditation will going to happen.
Su Sanatva, sui Saree, suciSaree, suci Saree means the very
.
Your body is totally clean.
Now one thing I can tell youmeditation can happen in one way

(39:24):
If you eat light food.
Lighter food means easy tomeditate and lighter food.
What is lighter food which candigest quickly, like if you eat

(39:46):
watermelon, it takes only 20minutes to digest.
If you eat fruit, maybe maximumone hour.
But if you eat vegetables orgrains, little bit, it might
take 4 hours.
So it is increasing.
Now If you take grosser food, gross, gross food, kind of very

(40:08):
heavy food, then it is a bigblockage is in your meditation
because it will create laziness.
When it creates laziness youwill fall asleep.
And what is the symptom?
If it is a light food or grossfood, grosser food is not good.

(40:31):
It means if you are hungry andyou eat a lunch and you fall
asleep after eating, it means itwas not a good food for you, it
was not a light.
Light food creates energy, easyto digest.

(40:54):
It will create a lot of energy.
You become so active.
But if you become lazy, itmeans it was not a good food or
you have eaten too much food, overeating.
Then it is a big blockage ofthe meditation.
So Shuchi is a hero.
This is the condition he said.

(41:14):
First, either you face to theeast or face to the north, and
after that should achar goodthoughts in your mind Because
you are in the good mood to dosomething good.
So all these bad thoughtsdisappear.

(41:35):
And the meditator what you do,it can be in the samadhi, it can
be in totally meditative statewhen they sit into the
comfortable position and alsoclean body.
That is the way.

(41:56):
If your body is not clean, Idon't think so you can meditate.
So that is the conditions heput.
Not only that, in the same book,in the 52 pages, another one
more technique is givenPali-yankam bandheu.

(42:19):
Pali-yankam means cross-leg,the real meditative state.
Pali-yankam bandheu nisiddh manvayan kaya vayaro.
That when you sit into thecross-leg and you have

(42:40):
discipline on your mind, on yourspeech, on your body, all three
things, these are the threethings which we need to
discipline, nothing else.
If you have discipline on yourmind, on your speech and on your

(43:02):
body.
If you have seen our hair, tirtha.
Tirtha is a kalash.
On the kalash you see the Shivastatue.
It is very beautiful there.
If you will go, you will seethere there is a Trishula.
It seems like Hindu mythology.
They call it weapon that Shivakills bad people.

(43:26):
On the one side you think Shivais a God.
How God can kill people?
Because, for God.
God created us For God.
He is a bad or is good, theyare both equal.
But they put in his hand aweapon.

(43:50):
It is called Trishula.
Trishula means three thornsthere.
If you will see, there thereare three thorns, but Hindu took
it wrong way.
Shiva never kills God.
Never kills anyone For God.
If God is a father, no matter itis a good children or bad

(44:14):
children, a father will treatthem equally.
He will even put more effortsto make bad person to good.
Right, the good is already agood, but he will put more
efforts.
So God never going to kill.
I was reading in one Sanskritbook and it might give you

(44:37):
little idea and it is wonderfulwhich variksha or peace
somewhere dhaya svayam chhetumasampratam Rijya Prabhavar.
Build a Sanskrit that even bymistake, you have planted a
poison tree, poison tree bymistake, and it is growing.

(45:01):
Now, when it is growing, itbecome big.
Now, svayam chhetum asampratam.
It is not good.
You can cut it now, that one, because you grow it.
You have grown this tree.
Now don't cut it.
Let it stay there.

(45:22):
If your son, your daughterbecomes bad, you cannot kill it.
No, svayam chhetum asampratam, even by mistake, it is a poison
tree.
Don't cut it.

(45:42):
God never kills anyone.
What is that symbol?
It is a symbolical that it ishis main teachings.
Main teaching says have a.
He is showing people I have atotally control on these three

(46:03):
souls.
Souls means three thorn, threeshul, three thorn.
What is real thorn which blocksyour path?
Mind first.
One.
Mind is the biggest thorn.
If you can make it better.
Have a discipline on your mind.

(46:25):
It doesn't become a thorn again, it becomes a clear clarity.
Speech is the biggest thorn.
All belliver, mouth, bad mouth, everybody becomes your enemies.
Right, it is the biggest thorn.
And body is the biggest thornon your way.

(46:48):
If you eat bad, if you eatgross food, I am not talking,
the food can block yourmeditation.
If now the question arises themeat-eater people.
They cannot meditate Becausemeat takes sometimes two, dies,
just three days.
Are they able to meditate?

(47:11):
Or they will have hard time.
They can meditate but they willhave hard time.
They have to go through andthey will realize one day it is
better to eat the lighter food.
They might come to the lighterfood and if they become

(47:32):
meditators, they automaticallythey will choose to eat the
lighter food Because they willfeel comfortable when they feel
comfortable and they can go deepinto meditative state.
Another technique he said crossleg.
And God doesn't kill anyone.
Let me explain to you God kills, hindu took little wrong way

(47:58):
that Shiva is a killer, shivanever killer, but unknowingly,
all Hindus.
They are doing one thing right.
They teach their children amantra.
The mantra is called Om NamahShivaya, om Namah Shivaya, om

(48:20):
Namah Shivaya.
When all children sincebeginning, since their babyhood,
they learned this mantra and itcreates destructive power into
your body.
Our body has three powerCreative power, operative power
and destructive power.

(48:41):
Now I am going to give you onelittle technique.
What is God?
God is creative power.
God created this whole universe.
God is Operative power.
We think that God is operatingthis whole universe.
And God is destructive power.

(49:05):
He is changing everywhere.
Disasters, lovers, earthquake, everywhere, not only here Moon,
Mars, everywhere, destruction.
What is God?
They made God?
G4, generative power, creation,oh for Operative power, g4,

(49:31):
destructive power.
That is God.
God is three combination ofthese three power and God put
all these power into our body.
They are very much creative, right, Many people.
They are more creative thanothers.

(49:52):
Many people are less creative, but they are creative.
And many people are morefunctioning Operative Few people
.
They are less functioning power, but they have God put every
three powers into the body.
Now I am going to give youlittle insight of you.
And destructive power also.

(50:15):
God put inside of you.
We are destructive too.
So if all three powers are Godand God put into our body, the
all three power, are we separatefrom God?
Think about it.

(50:35):
No wonder in Upanishad theywere able to declare Aham Brahma
Samayam I am God.
It looks like a very egoisticstatement, but in the real sense

(50:56):
you are not separate from God.
If three powers in your body, and God is also combination of
three powers, what is thedifference between you?
What is the difference betweenthe father and the son, or
mother and the daughter andfather and the daughter, or

(51:20):
mother and the son?
It's a part of the father andmother.
If we are children of God, itmeans we are the part of the God
.
Destructive power is not akilling power.
The person who is lackingdestructive power in the body,

(51:41):
they are killers, they aremurderers, they are violent,
they are terrorists.
Did you ever hear about inHindu culture somebody is
bombing like becoming terrorist?
Why?

(52:01):
Because they teach theirchildren Om Namah Shivaya, and
Om Namah Shivaya creates lot ofdestructive power.
What destructive power does toyou?
If you increase destructivepower into your body,
destructive power begins to kill.
What it kills.

(52:23):
That's what I am going to tellyou.
That is his main teaching ofShiva.
It kills your anger, it killsyour jealousy, it kills your bad
thoughts, it kills your hate,it kills your violence, it kills
your negativities, it killsyour suffering, it kills your

(52:47):
pain.
It kills.
But if we are lackingdestructive power, then you are
angry.
You are very hateful.
Think about KKK.
If I meet them one day, I amgoing to teach them Om Namah
Shivaya.
Increase destructive power.

(53:09):
You have less destructive power.
That's why it is a hate theyare so much Angry person.
If I boycott.
I meet Trump one day, I amgoing to give him Om Namah
Shivaya.
I calm down.

(53:30):
Repeat Om Namah Shivaya.
Increase destructive power.
Instead of killing people, killyour anger.
Kill your own ego.
You want to be presidentforever.
Kill your own ego.
It is an ego.
It will kill it.
Destructive power is needed.

(53:53):
As creative power is needed, operative functioning power is
needed, same thing destructivepower is needed.
And Hindu, unknowingly, theyteach their children Om Namah
Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya increasesinside of you destructive power.
When these everything becomesless and less and less, it is

(54:22):
easy to meditate Pali yankambandhevu nishidhaman vachankaya
vyavaro.
All this, your mind is underyour control, your speech is
under your control.
Your body is under your control.
This is called Manvachan Vipar.
Vipar means activities of themind, activities of the speech,

(54:45):
activities of the body all underyour control.
Then nasaag nimiyat naayanoAnother technique that you don't
close your eyes.
They teach you wrong thing inmeditative state that close your

(55:09):
eyes.
In this book they say no,nasaag dithee that you close
eyes.
It looks like a close but it ishalf open.
Then concentrate on your tip ofthe nose.
That is called nasaag nimiyannaayano.

(55:31):
When you look at your tip ofthe nose with the half open eyes
, then what you do after that, nishidh mano vaya, mandi krith
swashanishvasa, mandi kayasasanishvasa.

(55:54):
When you do this, when youconcentrate on your tip of the
nose with half open eyes, it iscalled ardhanemiyelithanayan.
If you go to our temple, you goto our system.
There on the first hill on theleft side, they are meditating
same way.
Their eyes, that stretch youreyes, are half open eyes.

(56:17):
They are concentrated fully onthe nasaag riddhristi on the tip
of the nose and mandi kayasasanishvasa.
And your breath, which iscoming in and going out.
It is a mandi kaya.
It becomes so slow.

(56:38):
They are not like yourbreathing, very kind of kaya
tiku vaya.
No, your breath calms downfully.
When your breath calms down andyou are looking the tip of the

(56:58):
nose and you are sitting in thepaliyan kyasankaros lags and all
your mind, your body, yourspace under your control,
meditation begins and whenmeditation begins and meditation
is a fire it can burn all yourkarma.

(57:22):
But remember now it requireseight steps.
I am going to give you thatsteps today and then there are
25 things which blocks yourmeditation.
I am going to continue to tellthat in the pre-usan time.

(57:43):
But eight steps is needed.
Sometimes we call it the eightsteps of samyakta.
Samyakta means the right way ofthinking, the right way of the
technique.
It has eight steps, like inyour body.

(58:06):
There are eight parts of yourbody.
They are very important youreyes, your nose, your mouth,
your ears, your hands, your feet.
These eight parts, your stomach, your all eight parts of the
body is very important into yourbody In the same way, those

(58:30):
eight parts of samyakta rightknowing, right path right
guidance they are very important.
I am going to give you thatlittle idea of those eight.
What they are.
Let me repeat it isutradhinsutra, last teachings of

(58:52):
Mahavir, 24 Tirthankara, lastTirthankara.
And it is utradhinsutra, 28chapter and 31 gath.
28 chapter and 31 gath, itcounts their eight, eight steps.
Now I am going to explain toyou first.

(59:38):
First is first step isnishankayam.
It is in Sanskrit.
We call it nishankha.
Nishankha is that you don'thave a doubt.
You don't have a doubt, anddoubt is created because of the
fear.
If no fear, there is no doubt.

(01:00:02):
You will not.
You will not have a doubtBecause the fear it creates.
It is.
Fear is the one who creates.
But we need to clear both of itdoubts and fear.
How many fear we have?

(01:00:29):
If I categorize, I willcategorize only seven kind of
fear.
There are hundreds, thousandskinds of fear is creating
trouble into our life.
But if I categorize, it may beall included into the seven
categories.
First kind of is aThanang-sutra, another scripture

(01:00:53):
of the Jain.
It is the seventh chapter.
It is just seven kind of sevenkind of fear there.
First fear is elok bhaya, that, what is the fear into this world
?
That, hey, if I lose mybusiness, if I lose my children,

(01:01:14):
if I lose my family this iscalled elok bhaya that you are
not settled at all, because, allover, fear, fear, fear, fear.
You cannot even.
Hey, if you lose your, if youlose your any, maybe?

(01:01:35):
If your boss fired you, you areso much fearful that any time
they can fire me, this company,I will lose my salary, I lose my
money, I lose everything.
We are surrounded by fear, andthis fear is creating lot of

(01:01:56):
trouble.
And if the fear and the what weneed, actually we can be
fearless.
We need only water, air tobreathe, water to drink and food
to eat.
But why we are so fearful then?
Hey, who is here?

(01:02:17):
They will get all these threeFor breathing.
You don't have to pay Water.
They can.
They begin to sell, but this isyour illusion.
I think it is better you purifyyour own water, because bottled
water can be very bad too.
So, be careful.

(01:02:40):
Up to you.
That is my suggestion.
So that's the way that you needto do.
No doubts at all, no illusionat all.
Fear creates lot of illusion.
Because of fear, everything iscreated.
Illusion.

(01:03:00):
Oh, I am going to lose this, Iam going to lose this.
They don't travel.
I am going to.
Oh, the airplane will going toget accident.
You don't go in because you arefearful.
You don't go in.
I heard one time a man traveledinto the airplane when he landed

(01:03:23):
.
I heard by myself.
When he landed he went to thepilot.
He said thank you Two times.
Thank you bringing me, and thatis my two times.

(01:03:46):
I am telling you you brought metwo times.
It's that right, brought youonly one time.
No, but it is two times.
This is my first and last, because it's terrible.
Sometimes it was so muchturbulence they get so scared,

(01:04:08):
so afraid, that they are goingto die.
It is fearful.
Because of fear.
We don't travel.
Many people they don't travel.
Hey, I am going to tell you onething don't be afraid.
Your life, your death, where itis going to happen, death, it
is already decided.
It is going to happen in theairplane or in the car or

(01:04:32):
somewhere else.
And let me tell you, don't bescared, don't be afraid.
Only less accident happen inthe sky.
Most accident happen.
If I will tell you the truth, you will be surprised, and
people are not afraid of that.
Where most accident happen, most accident happen on the bed.

(01:04:56):
Where the people die more Onthe bed, no matter in the
hospital, no matter at home.
They die on the bed and nobodyis scared of the bed and most
accident happen on the bed, notin the car, not in the airplane.

(01:05:17):
That why should we be scared?
Eh lokh bhai hai.
That is the first kind of scarything in this world.
We think we are going to dothis, we are going to lose our
life, we are going to lose money, we are going to do this and
that is the whole thing goes on.
We are never settled.

(01:05:38):
Second is par lokh bhai hai.
Second is par lokh bhai meanslike you are afraid of other
kind of maybe which is not human, maybe on other things, maybe
animals, maybe some kind ofdevils, maybe some kind of other

(01:05:59):
stuff.
It is called par lokh bhai hai, which is not human, human
around you create lot of fear, but other things which is not
look like you, they create lotof fear too.
Angels can create lot of fear.
If angels, usually they don'tbecome angry.
If they become angry, what isgoing to happen?

(01:06:21):
And no wonder, when somebodydies, they all tell them.
They don't say they say wheredid it go?
Your father happened?
Everybody say heaven.
Nobody say into the hell, right?

Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Do they say into the hell?

Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
No, Because you don't know.
Psychologically, you aretotally brainwashed.
That's what they say.
Into the heaven.
I am going to tell you todaythis psychological fear, and we
are all holding it.
What if we will say, because weare afraid, what about after

(01:07:08):
death?
He will become a ghost, he willbecome a devil, he will become
something to protect yourselfinto the heaven.
He went into the heaven.
Right, that's what we say, because we are so afraid of par
lokh bhai hai that what about itbecome devil?

(01:07:29):
Right, Become some ghost.
They are going to disturb usall the time, right?
So that is the par lokh bhai.
Second kind of fear.
Third kind of fear is atranbhai.
Atran bhai is like protection.

(01:07:52):
We need protection, but we arenot protected.
We always think we are notprotected, Even we are at home.
Oh, somebody will take my moneyaway, somebody take my furniture
away, somebody will steal this, somebody will do this.
If you don't have money, thatis problem.
If you have money, that isproblem.

(01:08:14):
No-transcript.
If you don't have money, youcry God, I don't have anything.
If you don't, if you have money, if somebody will steal and be
careful these days, if somebodycalls you unknown number, don't
answer.
You never know if you answerthrough your telephone number,

(01:08:42):
they can get into your account.
There's a lot of scam going on.
Atran Bhai, Everywhere is thisfear now.
And AI, maybe it will emptyyour whole bank account one day.
It's the biggest fear again.

(01:09:03):
Atran Bhai, it is everywhere.
So this is the third kind offear.
Fourth kind of is Akashmat Bhai,Sudden fear.
Accident happened.
When accident happened, that'sit.
But sometimes accident isblessing too.

(01:09:27):
Person doesn't get killed.
But when accident happened, letme tell you what happened.
All fear, they hit your navel,Everything it comes here and

(01:09:47):
this is the center.
If it opens up, your energybegins to go upward right away.
And when your energy flowsupward, you are going towards
enlightenment.
But let any accident happen, any earthquake happen.

(01:10:11):
Nothing happened to your handsand feet, it happened here.
You get hit the most, in thenavel.
Navel is the center whichcreates a lot of trouble for you
.
But if it becomes active byaccident, because it is too much
fear, and when you hold toomuch anything, it is going to

(01:10:37):
open up suddenly psychologically.
Close your fist, Tighten it,Tighten it more, Tighten it more
.
Put your whole strength intothe closing of this fist and
when your whole strength isgiven to be your fist.
Time will come, it will open upby itself.

(01:11:00):
That's what it happenssometimes.
If you get hit, first thing youget hit and somebody screams on
you and you are not preparedfor it you get your navel.
Everything becomes here.
Everything your navel getsaffected in every accident, in

(01:11:26):
every screaming, in everyyelling, in every sudden things
happen in your life.
It's a blessings, but it is abig fear too.
Same time.
That is the fourth kind of,fifth kind of Vedana Bhaya.
Vedana means now, it alwaysblocks you.

(01:11:49):
This because you are suffering, you have a pain, you have this,
you have arthritis, you havemany kind of sicknesses.
It's always moving into it.
And then when this Bhaya, thisfear is always blocks you.
Apeyash Bhaya.
Next one, sixth one.

(01:12:09):
Apeyash means like bad name, that if I will do something
wrong I will be insulted ineverywhere.
Right, if by chance, by mistake, I do something, then it will

(01:12:31):
happen Everywhere.
Your name will be bad name.
This is also the biggest fear.
And last fear is a Maran Bhaya.
Maran Bhaya means death.
Dying Death is the biggest fear.
Little aeroplane, you aretraveling, turbulence happens.

(01:12:56):
You are cheat chatting with thefriends, you are eating
something and suddenlyturbulence happens.
Terribly, and everybody wasenjoying their meal, or cheat
chatting.
Suddenly, if they believe inGod, god, god, god, god, all the
prayer, they begin to say rightaway everyone, and before that

(01:13:18):
the prayer was, they forgoteverything.
Little turbulence happens byfear.
Fear of the death is thestrongest fear.
Nobody wants to die.
Even you touch a little bug, itbegins to run away from you.

(01:13:39):
They don't want to die, theydon't want to get killed.
They try their best andsometimes, if you can put all
efforts, all efforts of your own, yourself, there is no way Like

(01:13:59):
efforts I put closing my fist.
It is going to open up one timeBecause there is no strength
left, All strength, you put ithere and you put it, put it,
tighten it, tighten it, tightenit, and it is going to open up
by itself.
It can happen anywhere, it canhappen anytime.

(01:14:22):
When you put all the efforts, people don't put all the efforts
.
If they put all the efforts, itis going to happen to you too.
Learn how to put all theefforts.
When you put all the efforts inanyone, things are going to

(01:14:45):
happen to you.
Death might disappear too.
If you put efforts into thedeaths dying anywhere, you put
all the efforts fully, thenthings begin to disappear.
Maranbhai is the like.

(01:15:07):
Nobody wants to live their body.
So these are the eight steps.
The first step is I wasexplaining the first step, but
there is a doubt and fear andfear are.
I did seven categories.
Second step is Nikankhyam.

(01:15:30):
Nikankhyam means that ifsomebody is on the wrong path
like into the truck or drinking, become alcoholic, drug
addiction or taking you thewrong path Don't stick with

(01:15:53):
those people.
One day, if you are not intothe drug, you are not into
alcohol, but if you live withthem you might get affected.
It is saying, if you enter intothe coal mine, no matter how
much you save your clothes, itis going to get dirty because

(01:16:15):
you are into the coal mine.
So think about it that they cantake you away from your path,
if they are.
If you are, nikankhyam meansnishkanksta, you make little

(01:16:38):
distance from those people.
Third is nivati gicha, nivicitsathat if person is on high level
, divine person, emong, ascent,divine and a teacher, a

(01:17:02):
spiritual teacher, or the pathis a very good path for you,
non-violent path, right, andpeople begin to criticize it.
They always put them down.
So that called nivicic that ifyou don't put them down, then it

(01:17:26):
means you are a good person.
If you are putting them down, good people, right, and they are
the real people they are justmaybe have nothing to do with.
They are always sitting inmeditation or they are trying to
teach goodness to the people.
So if you have that idea, don'tcriticize others.

(01:17:53):
If you want to criticize, criticize yourself, amud dhiti.
Fourth one, amud dhiti, is thatthey trust only the right thing.
They don't believe in wrong way.

(01:18:17):
There are believers in theworld, but not necessarily they
are believing right way.
If you go to the church dancingwith the snakes, are you a good
believer?
I can tell you these are withthe.

(01:18:39):
In every religion there are badtradition Dancing with the
snake.
They think, oh, the devil willgo away.
Snakes are devil.
If I give them snake, theycannot dance with that snake.
I will give the cobra.
Dance with the cobra.

(01:19:00):
Then I will know that youdancing with the snake.
They already know they are not.
They are non-poisonous snake.
There may be garden snake.
You can dance with it.
It is not going to take thedevil away.
No, but that's what they do.
People do it.
They get trapped into this kindof thing.

(01:19:23):
Amud dhiti they call it.
If you are not into it, you areokay good.
Next one is called upguhan.
Upguhan is that the people whoare the good people.
You appreciate them and if youbecome good by chance by

(01:19:48):
following them and you see a lotof good qualities in.
You don't appreciate yourself.
It will create ego.
Upguhan Learn how to onlyappreciate.
Only maybe you can tell peopleabout who are good people, not

(01:20:16):
talk about your own.
Many people.
They just try to appreciatethemselves, nothing else.
That's the upguhan.
Sixth one thirikarane.
Thirikarane is a is the bestone quality and it can.

(01:20:36):
If you have this quality, itcan help you lot of
in-maritation that people whoare falling down.
It is easy to make them morefall down and that is the nature
of the human that if somebodyis already going down, they push

(01:20:58):
them more.
They go down more.
But actually the good person isif somebody is falling down,
they protect them.
If you have this quality ofprotecting other people, you
have this good quality.
That is the seventh one.

(01:21:20):
Eighth one no, no, sixth one, sorry, this is sixth one.
And the seventh one isvatsarlata.
Vatsarlata means like you arenot at, you don't have
attachment, but you have somekind of love, like a cow with

(01:21:41):
the baby.
This is called vatsaltha.
The cow will protect its babythere.
If he is sleeping, it will bearound it, right, even in the
field.
A mother will protect the baby.
That's called vatsaltha.
Vatsaltha means every singlepore of the mother is a

(01:22:04):
protection there for the babyRight.
If you have this quality, vatsaltha is more than love.
It is not a love, it is morethan love.
That quality, if you encouragethat you are going towards, it
will help you to meditate.
And eighth one is pabhavana.

(01:22:25):
Pabhavana is like if you canhave some kind of, if you can
preach some kind of good qualityeverywhere and these days you
are lucky you have a socialmedia If you can spread all over

(01:22:49):
good things, it is calledprabhavana and specially the you
spread the things good thingEven you are not talking, you
are just spreading it, you aresharing it.
The more you share it on thesocial media, whatever you
learned, they will learn too.

(01:23:10):
You are getting if you havethis quality.
That is eighth quality of toenhance your meditation.
These are the eight qualities Iam talking about, but there are
25, there are 25 blockages, butthey are a little too much I

(01:23:38):
cannot explain today.
But if you will clear all those25 blockages, your meditation
will going to happen.
Clearly that is called 25 dosha.
Dosha means lower qualities andif you get, if you get familiar

(01:24:04):
with it, that is the way youwill put lot of efforts and
without lot of efforts, youcannot be successful.
One time a guy he went to theSocrates that is my last saying
to you he said I am failure inmy whole life.

(01:24:26):
He is a young fellow.
I am failure.
Teach me how to get success inmy life.
Said yes, socrates, very tall, robust, strong person.
He took the young boy to theriver.
He said go enter to the river.

(01:24:48):
He entered the river.
Keep going, keep going.
The water came up to the nose.
He was keep going.
Then Socrates went there.
He grabbed his head, put himinto the river, the whole head,

(01:25:11):
and he tried, he tried, he triedto out of his grip but he is so
, so strong person and till hisbody became become like a blue,
he took him out from the waterand he breathed.

(01:25:37):
He got so released.
Then Socrates asked him youwere asking me what is the best
technique of the success?
That what you were feeling whenI grabbed you into the water
and put you whole head into thewater, that I was trying to

(01:25:59):
breathe.
I couldn't breathe.
I put all of my efforts tobreathe, I couldn't breathe.
That is the success techniqueof the success.
You put all the efforts, likeyou were putting all the efforts
to breathe it.
But if you put all the effortslike that, I guarantee you, no

(01:26:24):
matter which field, you aregoing to success.
You will be successful.
But we don't want to putefforts like we put efforts to
breathe.
If we can put efforts likeSocrates taught this young
fellow, I guarantee you that isthe only technique I can give

(01:26:48):
you.
You will be success inmeditation.
You can be success wherever youwant to get success.
Success is right there.
But we don't know, we are notfamiliar with technique.
We need a Socrates again here.

(01:27:09):
Put efforts and you will bethere.
You are already there.
Little more, little more.
I will continue this.
What is blocking you?

(01:27:29):
25 kind of blockages tomorrow.
Jai Siddhartha.

Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
Thank you all again for tuning into Acharya Shree's
