Sadhvi Siddhali Shree (00:05):
Jai
Sadama, everyone.
This is Sadhvi Sadheli Sri,here with my spiritual teacher
and guru, acharya Sri Yogish, for the 2023 Paryushan series of
Acharya Sri's podcast.
Acharya Sri is a respected, enlightened one who has helped
thousands of souls progress ontheir spiritual path and totally
transform.
Paryushan is an eight-daycelebration of the soul,
dedicated to reflection, fastingand spiritual learning.
(00:28):
Welcome to all of our newlisteners and thank you for
tuning in Paryushan.
Acharya Shree Yogeesh (00:33):
Purve
celebration.
Today is the eighth day.
It is a special day.
It is also called Samvatsariday.
Samvatsari is a Sanskrit word.
Samvatsars means a year.
After a year it comes.
It is called Samvatsari,samvatsari.
(00:56):
Samvatsari means thecelebration, which is pure
spiritual celebration, comesafter one year.
So it is Samvatsari.
It is popular name ofSamvatsari Also.
This is called also KshamaYajna Divya Forgiveness, day of
(01:23):
forgiveness.
That is also another name of it.
Day of forgiveness, day offorgiveness is another name of
(01:45):
it.
Day of forgiveness is not justasking forgiveness to human, to
all living beings.
That is also one another nameof it.
(02:05):
But also this is a special daywhy this is the only day they
have chosen to celebrate thisall eight days, asthanmaka,
(02:27):
eight days of spiritualcelebration.
Why they have chosen this onlythis time.
There are a year.
They could have chosen otherdays of the celebration of this.
There is a history behind itwhen, billions of years ago,
(02:51):
this earth, when it happened, there was no one here because
the sun was very close to theearth.
It was very hot.
Nobody can survive.
It was difficult to survive, and these days is also.
(03:17):
If sun comes closer to theearth, it will be.
Our lives will be gone Becausethis kind of heat cannot survive
.
I am going to tell you that now.
It is scientifically proven.
If one gram of one gram is ameasurement In one kilogram,
(03:45):
there is 100 grams, a thousandgrams.
So those little part of the sun.
If we can bring on the earth, little part of it, it will kill
almost 140 miles.
(04:06):
Everyone.
Just one little part of it.
It has so much heat.
Can you believe, when the sun isvery close to the earth it
cannot grow anything.
All living being.
They cannot survive.
(04:26):
Nobody can survive because nowater, nothing.
But there is a few couple ofrivers.
They have a little water in ittotally.
One is Ganges, one is Sindhu.
These two rivers, they comefrom the Himalayas, somehow they
(04:48):
have a little water.
Even the sun is very hot.
They never dry those rivers.
And those rivers are verypopular.
They are always full of water, but on the very beginning of the
time they have also very littlewater in it because the sun is
(05:11):
too hot.
It evaporates everything, itdries everything.
Can you believe if there is 12years drought on the earth, no
rain, what is going to happen?
Drought everywhere, drought, nowater, no harvest, nothing
(05:41):
Trees.
When there are no trees, norain.
Right.
It is because of the trees.
They keep releasing oxygen alot and that is the way this
cycle goes on.
Rain sometimes is autumn, sometimes winter, sometimes
(06:12):
summer, because of the trees.
Trees are playing the biggestrole for this environment to
survive everywhere, all theliving beings.
So it doesn't mean on thisearth when sun is very close,
(06:38):
that everybody dies.
People survive on the tunnels.
There are big tunnels on thisearth, big tunnels.
They can survive because theheat cannot reach there.
(06:59):
But during the day it's veryhot and they just go in at night
.
There is nothing to it.
They come out at night.
Sun goes little further andwhatever available in the water
(07:26):
may be water, like fishes orsomething.
Water is so low level theycannot survive even and they go
out From the water.
It's hot and it comes out andit is sun is so hot.
Even the fish jumps out fromthe water.
(07:49):
It gets cooked.
That is the way they used tosurvive In the very beginning of
the time when it begins ourearth.
That is the way it survived andwas there was.
Nothing else can survive.
Fish are the other creatures.
(08:12):
In the water they survive, butif by chance, water is hot, they
jumped out and they get cookedright away.
That is the way human found outto survive.
They come at night.
Very little population, it's nopopulation.
(08:33):
How it can increase withoutfood and without water?
Water they have, it, they takewith them and then they somehow
survive, because water is firstneed and tunnels are everywhere,
but there are.
(08:54):
This earth it can be hollowinside.
It's not that it is a solid.
Somewhere is hollow, somewhereis a solid.
Long time ago, when RS, what youcall that Soviet Union, the
(09:14):
USSR, now it is Russia and itwas the biggest country, and
they were experimenting lot ofthings.
They wanted to see what isinside the earth.
(09:36):
They started digging it andthey dug it Maybe more than a
mile or more, almost maybe couldbe one and a half mile
underneath and they began to seeunderneath there are creatures,
(09:58):
worms, and they are survivingunder the earth.
Then they put the specialcameras when they were digging,
drilling, drilling, and theystopped this discovery.
(10:19):
They wanted to find out what isinside the earth.
When they heard, they went alittle too deep and they heard
through the camera.
Whatever they put it in thedrilling system, they heard
(10:40):
screaming, crying of human.
They have to stop thisdiscovery.
Many people they think that, oh,there was no money.
That's why they stopped this.
No, it was the richest day, noday for USSR.
(11:00):
No, it's not the question ofmoney.
Question was they didn't wantto hurt.
Could be inside of the hollowthis earth?
There may be population, theymay be always, survive.
Sun cannot hurt them, but thereis no way they can come out.
(11:33):
There is only one tunnel andpeople are not aware about it,
but they are researching aboutit.
This tunnel is mentioned in thelot of scriptures in India.
This tunnel is connected.
(11:54):
All the six continents, allover six continents, it is
connected with that tunnel.
It runs from north to south, east to west, but we don't know
it where it is, because in thesouth pole there is too much,
(12:19):
you know, miles deep.
That tunnel may be got lostunder the snow and whoever is
inside, they cannot come out,but there is a big hole.
They can still see the sunlight, but not like we do it here.
(12:41):
There is water everywhere, socould be a population, but
somehow we cannot go there orthey cannot come out there.
There is a tunnel when they areworking on it, antarctica, on
(13:05):
the south pole.
There is a lot of researchgoing on.
If somehow the snow is melted, our, this world will be in
trouble too lot of water oceanwill rise.
When it will rise it, the city, like New York city, like on the
(13:29):
beaches, they will be underwater again.
So you never know, maybe thenature keeps it.
That tunnel is there.
Until that tunnel is discovered, each country they can right
(13:50):
away, they can reach within fewminutes to the other country.
That tunnel connects everything.
But that tunnel tunnel is likelost now.
Hopefully they will discoverone day.
But we are all connected again.
(14:11):
There is no need to travel10,000 miles from Japan to here
or India to here when thattunnel is available.
It will take few minutes tocome from there Because now that
tunnel, we can make that tunnellike a space and you put the
(14:35):
anything, push it in the space, whatever speed, only you have to
stop it.
You need a force to stop In thespace.
There is no dharma-tika.
Dharma-tika is there butdharma-tika is opposite to stop.
(14:56):
So that tunnel can be made likea space and it will take only
few minutes to get anothercountry.
It is a connectivity.
It is there but it is lost.
My point is when, very in thebeginning, there was no rain,
(15:19):
there was nothing on this earth.
It was like a fire kind of.
Slowly, time passes, 100,000,year pass, million year pass, it
began to become little cooler.
Sun may be settling downsomewhere, its distance.
(15:41):
If there is no atmosphere, thenthe sun can burn us.
We need to keep that atmosphereand that's why each country
they are working onenvironmental purpose, because
(16:03):
ozone level the more it getswider, the sun will begin to
burn again.
It can be same situation againif we are not aware about it,
about the pollution, and thepollution is most.
Pollution is it was createdfree-on.
(16:25):
All air condition, all thesethings Free-on is the worst
thing for the ozone level.
No wonder it is.
Now they are making thisfree-on, maybe synthetic.
It will not hurt as much theyused to hurt it to the ozone.
(16:46):
So if this everything there, noatmosphere, ozone level it
become wider, then the sun ragewill come straight.
They are the one who protect us.
So if this happen, if we arenot aware about it, that's why
(17:10):
the Jain system if you readtheir scripture, they talk about
ecology first.
Ecology means now you have toprotect this earth.
How that what it is.
In Indian culture there is aGanesha.
(17:34):
They made lot of stories aboutit that he has an elephant head,
his face and his body is humanbody.
And many people they make funof the Indian culture, but they
(17:57):
didn't know that he was thefirst ecologist.
They worship him Not for theright reason.
Right reason is fully forgottenBecause those days there was no
writing system.
(18:17):
He is students.
They don't know how to maintainhis teachings that people will
follow all the time.
So they made his statue halfhuman, half elephant.
That the animal and human.
(18:38):
They supposed to live inharmony.
If they don't live in harmonythen it will be a big trouble.
I am going to give you onelittle example.
We are afraid of snakes andsnake is afraid of us.
It's opposite.
If a snake sees a human, itruns away, and if a human sees a
(19:04):
snake, it runs away too.
Both are afraid.
But what is the purpose ofsnakes on the earth?
If you will research deeply youwill find out.
In Indian scripture we don'tcall snake a snake.
Either we call it serp or wecall it pavanahari.
(19:27):
Pavanahari means the air, thewind.
Ahari means who eats the air,who eats the air.
It is a symbolic.
Not eating it means it purifiesthe air.
It sucks all the bad elements, bad things, bad bacteria from
(19:51):
the air.
And no wonder most of snakesare very poisonous.
The most poisonous snake is themost beneficial for the
environmental purposes, but wehave no idea, because it
purifies the air.
When it purifies the air, webreathe it.
We survive.
(20:12):
Can you believe?
It is just one example?
I know thousands of exampleslike that.
You will be surprised If webegin to read about animals.
Without them, we cannot survive.
They are the ones who arekeeping us alive.
Go existence.
(20:35):
That is the first Jain system.
Go existence.
Go existence means parasparopgraho jivanam.
That is our slogan.
Parasparop graho jivanam.
It is written there under theirlogo of Jain.
(20:55):
Parasparop graho jivanam.
Go existence.
Don't kill other creaturesbecause of your hunger.
No, go existence.
Learn how to live peacefullytogether in harmony.
That's what Ganesha was.
(21:15):
Ganesha was teaching thissystem and their student, they
made that statue.
Now it is just worshiping thatstatue Instead of learning what
were the real teachings of thisextraordinary person.
He is known to be the son ofthe Shiva, son of Aadheenath,
(21:44):
and even Shiva told don't payrespect to me first.
Pay respect to him that he isthe one who discovered this
theory, who discovered thistruth that we cannot survive
without others.
It is very important.
(22:05):
I went to Chicago one time andvisited a museum.
I saw there is one little jarMeans a bottle, kind of fully
tied on the top.
No air can go, air tied.
(22:26):
But there it was written thereInside that big glass pot, it
was one baby snake and one plantand they were surviving both.
Plant was alive and snake wasalive and tightly closed.
(22:47):
And it was written they aresurviving.
Why they are surviving?
Because of each other.
A little plant needs carbondioxide to survive.
Who provides the carbon dioxide?
Baby snake and the plantreleasing the oxygen.
(23:13):
Who needs oxygen to survive?
A little snake?
They need oxygen, so they bothare surviving.
Wow, the Jain system.
Here too.
Parasparop, graho, jeeva Naam.
They wrote co-existence.
They translated it theuniversal principles are
(23:35):
everywhere.
But they began to think, oh,this is ours, we discovered it.
Hey, not discovered.
It is a long time ago.
Those principles were there, those, the concept of that was
(23:58):
there, and it is written in thescriptures, thousands and
thousands of years old.
But that is the way why theychose this day.
I am going to shed the light onyou.
Why this?
After thousands of years, thisearth began to become little
(24:21):
cooler and atmosphere began togrow little bit.
And the people who lived in thecaves or big tunnels, caves,
and they were little scared.
First time, rain whenatmosphere built.
(24:45):
That's when rain begins.
Without atmosphere, raindoesn't begin.
And it was raining continued.
One day, two days, three days, four days, five days, six days,
seven days, seven weeks.
It was raining continued.
When rain continued.
(25:07):
Rain is the one which bringsall this, all this greenery.
They began to grow right away.
They just need a righttemperature and soil and water.
They are already there, theirseeds are already there and they
(25:31):
began to grow.
When they began to grow whenthey come at night because it's
still very hot, but not that hotthey began to think what is
rain?
They were scared of it.
They didn't want to come out.
And when they come out, theysee everywhere greenery.
(25:54):
When they see greenery, theythink this is something else.
They got so scared that theyare going to eat us, because if
you don't know what it is,that's what it happened.
Like caterpillars, you knowcaterpillars, some caterpillars,
(26:18):
other kind of.
They have a thorn on their bodyand it is poisonous.
Totally Not what we see here, but another kind of caterpillar
look like that.
They have a, all thorns allaround the body.
(26:39):
There are creatures like that.
But if you, by mistake, youtouch it, that creature which
looks like a caterpillar, thatthorn once enter into your
finger, all the poison from thebody begin to go into your blood
(27:00):
.
It can kill a person.
It's so poisonous.
That's the way they protectthemselves.
There are other creatures.
When somebody attacks, it opensup all the thorns, all hair.
Hair is like a thorn, even thelion, even the other creature.
(27:21):
They cannot kill those smallcreatures and that is the
protection.
So they thought it is somethingthey are going to kill us and
they were so scared.
Somehow they have they touchedit, they didn't kill us, they
got little, much easier to livewith it.
(27:46):
And they go out everywhere, greenery, greenery, and they say
maybe it is something else.
They try to taste it and ittastes totally different.
And after seven weeks of rain, bushes they begin to give little
bearish.
Many bushes they grew and theybegin to give little bearish.
(28:13):
And they tasted it.
It tastes totally differentthan the meat, but they were
used to it and they think, oh,the nature, give us something to
eat.
And they begin to eat that.
They begin to taste everything.
New adventures begins.
(28:38):
But one day, when they tasted it, when they finally got the idea
it was the month of Indianastrology, our Indian calendar,
you can say it was a Shard-SavanBhajo, bhadravadi-tryodashi.
(29:07):
Bhadravadi-tryodashi means 13thday of the Bhadramat.
Bhadra is like around Augustand September according to
Indian calendar.
It was dark night, or 13th dayof dark night, and it was so
(29:27):
greenery everywhere and theytasted everything.
And then, when they decidedthat the nature begin to give us
another kind of food.
We don't need anything.
So it was after 8 days.
(29:51):
It was Bhadrasudhi Panchami.
Bhadrasudhi Panchami means 5thday of Moonlit night, 5th day.
Today is the 5th day of theMoonlit night.
New moon begins and today isthe 5th day.
It is a Bhadrasudhi Sudhi meansMoonlit night, 5th day of
(30:16):
Moonlit night.
Whoever they were in that maybehundreds of people they lived in
the cave.
They come out and they decidednow, this day, we will celebrate
because it's a new beginning.
(30:37):
New era begins, new food begins.
We can survive with this food.
And they all took the vow tillnow we will eat all these
vegetables.
They took the vow today that wewill learn whatever we used to
(31:06):
survive on the meat.
That's why this is therevolutionary day.
And Jain chose that day, thatday the people first time.
It is revolutionary day becausethey took the vow that we will
be vegetarian Vegetationeverywhere.
(31:29):
And when they took the vow, they think they sat, they sit
together and they werediscussing about all this
vegetation and they said todaywe will not eat anything, we
will not drink anything.
This is our new beginning.
(31:50):
So that day today, 5th day, neither they drink water,
neither they ate anything.
And because they were transTransition is going to happen.
Next day they will be totallydifferent.
This day, everyone, they didn'teat Everyone, they didn't drink
(32:14):
water.
And that is the way the Jainsystem chosen that day,
revolutionary day in the historyof the earth.
It is not a Jain day Jains, they are in illusion that we
celebrate this, but they havechosen best day.
(32:35):
Like Christianity, they havechosen Jesus' birthday.
What is Christmas?
What is the Christmas?
24th December or 25th December?
And Jesus was not born that day.
If you read about the historyof Jesus, he was born either in
(33:01):
June or in April sometime.
It has nothing to do withJesus' birthday of Christmas.
But why they have chosen tocelebrate his birthday on
Christmas?
Because it was big and sadalready.
If you read the history, it wasthe pagan's day.
(33:22):
They believed in nature, paganin Europe.
So pagans used to celebratethis.
Why?
Because it was time to bringthe harvest inside your home.
All the harvest is ripe andthey bring all the new, all this
(33:43):
food to eat.
So that was the pagan's day andit was already popular.
Because all the people werecelebrating it.
Because when something comesinto your home, you will
celebrate, you will be happy, you will be dancing.
That's what they used to danceand it was already so popular
(34:06):
People were celebrating it.
So Christianity chose Jesus'birthday that day.
They have chosen it.
It was not born that day, butit was not born that day.
Same way, it is not a Jan's day.
Jan's are in illusion that itis our day, but they have chosen
the best day to celebrate thisPerusion.
(34:30):
To celebrate because in thebeginning they took the vow.
We will be now turning.
Not eating fish that was theused to be it Not killing other
creatures.
We will be surviving on thevegetation, and that is the
revolutionary day.
They took the vow that day andthey re-entered.
(34:53):
They re-entered that day.
That's what Jan has chosen thisday.
This is a Bhadrasudhi Panchami.
Panchami means fifth day ofMoonlit, new Moon, second Moon
day, third, fourth, fifth.
Today is fifth.
Other sect, one of the ShreyaTambar sect they try to do.
(35:17):
It comes usually the 49th dayof the when the rain begins in
the beginning.
It is the 49th day today.
When the rain continues, inseven weeks it becomes 49th day.
So one of the sects of Jan.
They celebrate one day early, this one Fourth day of the
(35:43):
Moonlit night instead of fifthday, why it was an emergency and
it now becomes a tradition, because kings were fighting.
One king attacked another kingand the king who was fighting,
he was a Jan, and they want tocelebrate this Periyusha, the
(36:09):
day of forgiveness, and he askedAcharya that we have to go to
the battlefield.
And if we go today and we haveto.
There is no choice because allthe other armies there and
(36:34):
tomorrow is the celebration andwe always fast that day.
So what do we do that you cancelebrate one day early?
So Acharya gave the permissionbecause of emergency situation,
but now it is a tradition, oneof the group.
(36:55):
They begin to celebrate one dayearly, but no matter one day
early or next day, the purposeis the same.
Purpose is they don't drink, they don't eat and they always
into meditative state.
So this is the revolutionaryday and day of forgiveness.
(37:16):
They were asking forgivenessfrom the other creature that we
have eaten to you long time, because we didn't know there are
so much sweet fruits, sweetberries, sweet everything.
And that is the way our lifebegins on this earth Easy way.
(37:37):
It was a life.
Life never finished from theearth, even though it was hard,
but people find the way out tosurvive.
If nuclear happened on thisearth hopefully never happened,
but if it happened so the peoplewill still survive.
(38:00):
They already made those citiesunderground and they are the one
who will go there and survive.
Right, they are going tosurvive.
They find the way.
Hopefully it doesn't happen.
Third World War Somebody asksAlbert Einstein that what you
(38:28):
think about the Third World War?
He said I cannot say anythingabout the third world war, but I
can predict the fourth worldwar.
He said why it is that fourthworld war never going to happen?
(38:51):
That's what he said, hisstatement.
Listen carefully what he said.
I can predict the fourth worldwar never going to happen
because if third world warhappens, everything will be
destroyed.
And he is right If somethinghappens, everything will be gone
(39:15):
again.
We will be the same thing.
Our planet will be like a Marsagain no atmosphere, no
atmosphere here.
There is oxygen, little bit,but it's not enough to create
that atmosphere here.
There may be water, but it isunderground and it's not on the
(39:40):
surface.
So no atmosphere.
Yes, he is right.
So this day is a very importantday of forgiveness.
They ask forgiveness from everyliving being.
That's what we teach today andeveryone today, especially the
(40:06):
following Om Dajjan system.
They not only fast, theirfasting system is to burn the
karma.
Their fasting system is not tomake the body something special
no.
Their idea is not to fastingjust to make yourself healthy
(40:27):
and body beautiful no.
Or lose weight no, their ideais to burn the karma.
Karma is the one who is makingyou suffer, who is giving you
all the pain.
So to burn the karma, fastingis very important.
Fasting is a fire and fire canburn everything.
(40:53):
That's what they do fasting.
Sometimes they do fasting Ifsomething happens in somebody's
case.
That's the way it can happen.
It happened in my case.
I wanted to just experiment.
Maybe let's see one thoughtentered into my mind.
(41:15):
Then let's see how the naturewants me to survive, how long
Wrong idea entered.
But it gave me a very positiveexperience.
I thought, maybe four days, because I was 14 years old and
(41:38):
this wrong idea happened and itcan kill you.
Actually, this idea, and whenteenagers they think they know
it all, even the senior monks, they try to stop me, don't I
enter the idea and you want togo for it Maybe?
(42:01):
I thought four days is enough,I will survive four days.
I started one day and next daymy body became very painful.
Everywhere is pain, everysingle cell was suffering.
I thought, at least I will dofour.
(42:22):
Then third day was worse.
Today, fourth day was the worstof worst.
As soon as I entered in thefifth day, all pain disappeared.
I thought, wow, it is the realfasting begins.
(42:45):
I continued, continue fastingand the senior monks were a
little worried that, as ateenager fasting, I didn't want
to break it Every day I wasincreasing.
Eighth day, ninth day, tenthday it happened to be, in my
(43:11):
case, naturally, 32 days.
32 days happened by itself andlot of experience.
I am not going to explain here, but it was an experiment.
It was not just fasting in mycase, it was totally different.
(43:32):
I wanted to experience it and Idid it.
I might mention here and therein my books fasting or other
books are coming on the way.
But yes, fasting gives you lotof experience.
It can bring, it can burn allthe karmas or it can bring all
(43:55):
the bad karma on the surface.
They begin to give you resultright away, Instead of giving
result after 10 years.
They will give you result todayBecause you have to go through
whatever you have collected.
So I am going to tell you thesedays, pariyushan day, if you
(44:19):
have animity towards any livingbeing, animity towards any other
human being, ask forgiveness.
If you will not ask forgiveness, your animity will continue.
It will not stop Because lifecontinues.
(44:39):
Life is one, but it's continuedBecause soul never dies, it is
eternal.
So they may be on the way.
We get new body.
There is a different story, butsoul same soul continue.
(45:00):
It goes on and on.
So if you have animity towardsanyone, you will be animi again
on the next life.
You will meet again and youwill fight with each other, you
will kill each other, you willhate each other.
So the system, jain system, itis developed.
(45:21):
If you have something badthoughts about anybody else or
you have built animity towardsanyone, ask forgiveness, clear
hair, everything Otherwise itwill continue on the next body,
next body continue, never ending.
(45:43):
Somebody is killing today agoat.
The goat will become a butcher, will kill you next life, but it
will continue.
So it is better to stop it.
Stop what is.
Killing is not a good.
Hurting is not others' feelings.
(46:06):
Hurting physically, mentally, verbally is not a good.
You better ask forgiveness, otherwise continue this animity
and you will increase your birthand death.
It is cycle never going to end.
Perusion we celebrate to endthe cycle.
(46:29):
That is what you need to burnthe karma, and the karma is the
one which is increasing yourcycle of rebirth and death.
It continues this cycle andanimity is increasing a lot.
(46:50):
So that is what you need toclear it.
I became a monk when I was 14.
And we were in the one city.
There were, I knew that, twomain people in that organization
(47:10):
.
They hate each other and theywere.
It is a gen system.
In one day, at least one dayonce a year, everybody has to
become a monk, even one day.
They wear the same clothes, like a dress of the monk, and
(47:31):
the male stay with the malemonks and the female stay with
the female monks.
So there is separate residenceand they get together hundreds,
whatever they are that city andthey.
We call it the specialtechnique poshad.
(47:53):
Poshad means you are looking atyour soul only looking at
yourself, only that everybodyelse is better than me, except
me Eucritsizing yourself.
So they stick with the monks.
They become one day monk andthey don't eat, they don't drink
(48:14):
at all.
That one day we becoming a monkone day.
Why to eat and why to bother todrink?
So it is called poshad vrat.
It is a special technique.
They become a monk.
They were both there.
I talked to the head.
It is time today.
(48:34):
Ask forgiveness from him and ifyou will not ask forgiveness,
continue.
Your enmity will continue.
You increase your life, birthcycle, death and birth increase.
You will suffer a lot.
(48:56):
He said, as you say, I am readyto ask forgiveness from him.
I said he is a good person.
I went to the other that hey, today is a samvatsari, last day
of prohibition.
We call it day of forgiveness.
Ask forgiveness from himBecause you know, we know it,
(49:20):
you hate each other.
Oh yeah, this is a special day.
I will ask forgiveness.
I was happy that.
Oh, I did something.
Good job today In the evening, around 4-5 o'clock, they do
prathikraman.
(49:41):
Prathikraman is a specialtechnique for give every single
living being and their name ismentioned everywhere.
Sometimes it takes 2 hours, sometimes it takes 4 hours and
before prathikraman it is allasking forgiveness from every
(50:02):
single living being, no matterit is vegetation, no matter it
is other creature, no matter.
You did knowingly hurt someone, unknowingly hurt someone.
So that is a process offorgiveness.
That, hey, it is time forforgiveness.
You better ask.
(50:23):
It was time that they will askforgiveness.
I was hoping.
The one guy he went to a seniormonk and he said, can I ask you
a question before this processbegan?
That's yeah, you can ask that.
(50:44):
How many bad hell planets?
He said mostly the worst planetof hell, according to our
scripture.
There are 7.
They are the worst.
One Hellish planet, wherepeople suffer, suffer, suffer.
That's what we call that hell.
(51:04):
They call simply hell.
We call it hellish planet andwe have their name too, actually
.
And those planets, they reallyexist, but there is no happiness
there, always suffering.
You know what he said that I amready to go to the 14th world,
(51:30):
but I am not going to askforgiveness from him.
Now, there are people like that.
It means they are ready to goto the 14th worst hell.
There are only 7.
I heard it.
Wow, this person never going toget enlightened, this person
(51:53):
never going to be out of thecycle of birth and death.
It continue, continue.
It is called abhavi, jiva.
Abhavi means they never goingto be out of the cycle, they
never going to get enlightened, they never going to cross this
ocean of suffering, always intoit.
(52:16):
So it is better, if you holdgrudges, if you hold anything
towards anyone, it is better toask forgiveness.
At least clear yourself.
If they don't clear, that istheir problem.
If you clear yourself, if youhave any grudges towards anyone,
(52:41):
holding grudges it means it isvery bad anger, Very bad anger.
If you get annoyed, if you getirritated easily, it means you
are holding lot of anger insideof you.
These are the family of anger, big family.
(53:02):
So it is better to cleareverything today and we have a
special system.
I will recite, you will reciteafter me, but before that I want
to finish little things.
Whatever is meditation, thePrashansar?
(53:26):
It is Digambar book Prashansar, chapter 2 and 99.
Shloka Na hanam homi parensi name paren santi na haam aham
ekko idhi jo jhaidhi jaane.
So apanam havdhi jada that themeditator who is totally in
(53:51):
meditative state.
In the meditative state, hethinks or she thinks and the
person thinks that I am, I don'tbelong to others.
(54:12):
First thing, they think I don'tbelong to others, or the other
is not mine.
That is the way they think inthe meditative state.
And when they think that I amnot for others and other is not
(54:36):
me, when they think that, likeother is a other, it cannot be
you, no matter how much we say,oh, I am mother and daughter, we
are one.
No, no, no, no, no.
It is totally different body, totally different mind, totally
different brain.
How can you be one?
(54:57):
Maybe when you were a baby youthink you are one, but when you
grow up your idea began to betotally different, right?
So I am not for for meansothers and other is not me
either.
Other, all these material, whatever we think, oh, it is
(55:20):
mine.
Whatever we collect, all thesemoney, right, all these
belonging is not you.
They will be here always.
If it is yours, they will gowith you, but they never go with
you.
Nothing goes with you.
The best thing is just get outof that situation.
(55:47):
Many people think, oh, they arevery unlucky people.
There was one kingdom the kingheard that in my kingdom there
is a one guy.
If somebody sees his face earlyin the morning they cannot get
(56:09):
even food.
King got so curious.
Kings are little kind of mental.
They get easily affected by.
He called that person in hispalace that day.
You sleep here tonight, I willsee your face.
(56:32):
Early in the morning the guycame.
They arranged his system.
As soon as king woke up he wentto see his face.
And that day, by chance, ithappened the kingdom.
(56:53):
There was emergency.
King got so busy into thekingdoms affair he didn't have
time to eat the food, lunch ordinner.
He got so busy.
It was emergency, somethingMaybe other king was planning to
attack.
He has to do.
He didn't have time to eat Inthe evening.
(57:15):
He thought when he was eatinghe is really a unlucky person.
I saw his face.
I didn't have even my food.
He ordered hang him.
He is really unlucky.
Now.
He experimented, tested it.
He ordered King's order isordered.
(57:43):
Next day they were hanging him.
The King said hey, wait, askhim if he has a last wish.
They asked that I want to talkto the King.
That's what my last wish is.
The King came.
(58:06):
That's what you need to talk tome.
That, hey, you saw my face.
You didn't get the food.
Look, I saw your face earlymorning.
I am getting hanged up.
Who is unlucky?
Get out of this idea.
You never know.
(58:26):
We think, oh, this is a luckyperson.
What about you?
I saw your face, look at what Iam getting.
You didn't get only food.
King got a little shake, shakeout.
He said you are right.
Then Nobody is lucky there, leash him.
(58:47):
So that is the.
Our idea needs to be broken.
Whatever we are holding insideof us, we need to ask
forgiveness, otherwisemeditation will not happen.
Other is not you, you is notothers.
(59:07):
All this material is not your.
You think it is your illusion, like King's illusion.
He is unlucky.
Person who sees his first faceearly in the morning will not
get the food.
It was by chance he didn't getthe food.
But he was right too that I sawyour face.
(59:28):
Look, you are killing me.
I am getting death.
Think about it.
The person who always meditated.
They always think about that.
I am not for others, other isnot mine.
So and they begin to thinkabout the soul, about the Atma
(59:54):
and what they do.
They, the person who thinksinto meditation that much so
upon them, how they jada thatperson begin to think I am
purest, I am Shuddh Buddha, chaitanya, that is in our
(01:00:19):
Sanskrit word.
Shuddh means purest.
One Buddha means awakened.
One Chaitanya means totalaliveness.
That's what that person canenter into meditation.
That is Prasannasar.
Second one Jhanatthi yo hujoijayno samveya visaya apanam niya
(01:00:47):
ya panam to nam lai tam suddambhag viheenu jaha raya nam.
This is a very beautiful sutra.
Jhanatthi yo hujoi, the personwho is meditator or a yogi, who
(01:01:10):
is always in meditation, jhanatthi yo hujoi jay means
yogi, jayno samveya niya yapanam, and even it is in
meditation, but he doesn't feelany sensation into the body, no
(01:01:32):
sensation.
It is called samvedan, samvedan, spandana, svedana.
Like you become so sensitive, your body becomes so sensitive.
Like the baby body is verysensitive.
Same way, a yogi's body who isin meditation doesn't become
(01:01:57):
sensitive and he never felt thatsensation.
Tona lai tam suddam.
That yogi, that meditator, cannot achieve the purest state
of consciousness or the pureststate of soul, like if they
(01:02:25):
don't feel it.
Any sensation, any sensitivityin the body.
If the body is not sensitive, you cannot go deep into the
consciousness it has to be.
If somebody doesn't feel it, heis a lucky person, like a
person who has a in front of it,in front of it, the diamond,
(01:02:52):
but it considers it is a stone.
That's what they think.
A pot maker.
He has a one donkey.
He goes to the forest.
He dug the soil clay and hebrings the clay to the home.
He found a one stone.
(01:03:13):
It was a little shining.
He tied it into the thread andhe said if I will do, if I will
tie my neck, I will not look sobeautiful.
If I will put tie into mydonkey's neck, he will look so
(01:03:33):
beautiful.
He tied that stone into hisneck.
It became like a kind ofnecklace for the donkey and he
was going to the home.
One person said I want to sellthis stone.
I can give you one dollar, likebig money.
(01:03:57):
Those days one rupee Rupee wasstronger than dollar.
Those days it was a time Indianrupee was even stronger than
the dollar and he said one rupee, ah, no, no, I want hundred
rupee if you want to.
No, no, hundred rupee.
(01:04:19):
He went further.
Another fellow.
He said do you want to sellthis?
I can give you hundred rupees.
He said no, I don't wanthundred rupees, it is up to you.
Hundred rupees is like a bigmoney.
He began to think I was readyto give him one rupee or two.
(01:04:46):
Now hundred may be better, Sellit.
He sold it and next day he wasgoing out.
That necklace was not in thetank, it's a neck, the first
person who wanted to buy, withone rupees and he was not ready
(01:05:11):
to sell it.
He said hey, where thatnecklace is, I sold it.
That how much did you sell?
Hundred rupees, hey, theydeceived you.
You know that stone it was not.
(01:05:32):
It was million rupees worth.
It was a special time that yousupposed to cry, you supposed to
be sad.
You know what he said that, notI supposed to cry, I didn't
know the value of it, you knewthe value of it.
You didn't want to buy even onelittle money.
(01:05:55):
I am not a loser, you are theloser.
That's what we are doing.
They are lucky person whodoesn't feel the sensation,
sensitivity into the body.
They are like a lucky of thatdiamond jewelers who lost this
(01:06:18):
big stone.
He could have paid hundred, even two hundred thousand, even
he was a million rupees worthspecial diamond.
That is the way the yogi, whodidn't feel any sensitivity and
sensation into the body.
It means they are lucky, likehe lost the most precious stone.
(01:06:47):
Third one what is meditation?
Dravesangra is a one book.
I have read that one.
(01:07:07):
Dravesangra, dravesangra, 56thloka.
In there it is written inSanskrit Maa chittha, the
meditator, maa chittha, hedoesn't move his body anywhere.
(01:07:29):
No movement into the body.
When a real meditator, the bodydoesn't move, body doesn't go
left or right or this or that.
No, maa jampa, not even anylike gestures of the body, even
(01:07:53):
they don't do even any gesturesof the body, maa chittha, they
don't think anything into thebody.
Kim vijayin, hoi thiru, andthey don't speak any words, not
(01:08:14):
thinking anything.
All these bodies, totally fully, totally fully, is no movement
in it.
And your speech, no movement init.
And your mind thinking, nomovement in it.
(01:08:38):
It means all these three underyour control as a meditator.
When these three yoga, they areunder their control, everything
will be established, everythingwill be totally stopped.
Body will stop, even yourbreath begin to stop.
(01:09:02):
Then your soul begins to moveinto the soul.
When soul begins to move intothe soul, that is the real
meditation.
If you want to, that you wantto move.
But where?
Move into the soul.
Soul begins to move into thesoul, not into the body, not
(01:09:25):
into the speech, not into thethinking, no, not into the mind,
nothing.
So soul moving into the soul, and that is called param dhyan.
That is the real meditation.
Drabh vesangra, last one I amgoing to tell you Jaha chiram
(01:09:48):
sancheyam midhanam manalo.
Pavan sahiyoduyam duhai tahakamedhanam amayam
khanayajananalo dahai dhyanshata.
Dhyanshata is a very popularbook in Jain.
System 101 shloka in thedhyanshata and this is very
(01:10:11):
important In the dhyanshata theymention about the meditation,
jaha chiram sancheyam indhanammanalo.
Like if you collected lot ofwood for the winter, right, and
(01:10:32):
many people in this country orEurope they collected lot of
wood that in the winter theywill burn it.
They have big energy, they canwarm the water or warm the house
.
That's what they used to do.
That you, they collected a lotand many people they collect to
sell it and they have thebiggest storage.
(01:10:56):
That's the way that youcollected whole year like the
woods and suddenly by mistake orsomebody crazy person put the
fire in it and that youcollected whole year the wood.
(01:11:19):
It burns very quickly.
That wood burns very quicklybecause what burns the very
quickly?
The wind.
Wind is blowing and there is noway to stop it Because wind
(01:11:41):
burns so quickly.
Same way, the meditation is afire that fires meditation kind
of fire.
Whatever you collected,unlimited karma, unlimited.
(01:12:06):
There is no limit.
It is Infinite karma if youhave collected.
But if that fire happens intoyour body, the fire of
meditation can burn Infinitekarma very quickly.
(01:12:30):
But that wind has to be there, wind of meditation, wind or the
fire of meditation.
They will help both.
If your mind, your speech, yourbody, totally no movement in it
(01:12:53):
, that fire will going to beproduced by itself, it will
happen by itself and it willgoing to burn all the karma.
And when all the karma willgoing to burn, that is, there is
nothing left except your puresoul, and the pure soul is the
(01:13:16):
real meditation.
These are the meditation we cango through and it can happen to
anyone.
I am going to give you oneexample, and it can happen
suddenly, how it burns so fast.
(01:13:38):
It is a story about theKrishna's brother.
His name was Gaj Sukumal.
He was so fragile when he wasborn.
They call him Gaj Sukumal likea fragile, like elephant baby,
new born baby.
Right, that body was so fragile.
(01:13:58):
He was eight years old and oneof the Tirthankars.
Those days it was Krishna'scousin.
His name was Nemi NatharaArishna Nemi, 22nd Tirthankar.
It is like 100,000 years ago, minimum.
(01:14:19):
So that was the 22ndTirthankara.
He was happened to be out ofDwarka.
Dwarka was Krishna was a rulerof Dwarka city.
It is near the ocean.
Now that city went to the ocean.
But Krishna's time it wasreally a very popular city.
(01:14:42):
They found it all these stones, all these walls under the ocean
, but it is too much now.
Anyway, it happened, and evenKrishna, because they were very
close.
The cousin, he went to hear hisspiritual discourse, even to go
(01:15:09):
to sit around the Tirthankarais a very, very peaceful, but if
you hear something it is a mostprecious thing.
His younger brother, he said Iwant to go with you eight years
old.
He went to.
But Krishna was so attached tothis younger brother.
(01:15:31):
He found a very beautiful girland he said you going to marry
this girl when you become ayoung, I will bring this girl
into my palace and we will raisethat girl when you become
(01:15:53):
younger, the Krishna already forhim.
They're not married butarranged it and she is brought
up like a princess in the palace.
And his father, her father, wasa Somal, he was a Brahmin, he
(01:16:14):
used to believe in the Yajnafire ceremonies.
Always he used to go collectthe wood from the forest,
special wood For the fireceremony.
There is a special wood.
It's not available.
It is called Thak.
Thak is very, very rarely butit happens to be the desert.
(01:16:41):
Maybe we can find in Arizona, somewhere, nevada, somewhere,
that wood.
And he used to collect and heused to do fire ceremony and he
went there with his brother.
He heard and he got so affected, this eight years old boy.
(01:17:04):
He said to Krishna I want tolive with him, with the
Tirthankar.
Then no, you need to go backhome.
He insisted that I want to bewith him.
I want to be with him.
I don't know what happened tome.
I want to be with him I don'twant to live.
(01:17:27):
They tried to make himunderstand.
But next day he was so attachedto his younger brother they
tried to stop him.
He didn't want to, he wanted togo with him.
And next day they tried.
Everyone tried mother, father,krishna, everyone.
(01:17:50):
That is very difficult path.
You have to renounce everything.
I don't know what happened tome.
I don't want to be in thepalace anymore, I want to be in
the garden.
He got so affected.
Krishna took him to theTirthankara with the big hustle
(01:18:15):
and bustle, the whole cityfollowing it, whole army, that
he is renouncing the world likethat way, the whole city behind
him.
He is sitting on the elephantand he took him and he gave to
him that I am giving my brotherto you.
(01:18:35):
We tried to stop him.
He didn't.
He got hit something inside theheart fully.
We cannot stop him.
You better take care of him.
And Neminatharista named me.
He initiated him right away, eight years old Then, no hair on
(01:19:01):
the head, everything allrenounced.
And in the evening he came tothe Tirthankara and he asked
Bhante, that's what is a specialword?
Oh, my God, I want to dospecial kind of sadhana which I
(01:19:24):
can burn all the karma veryquickly that what kind of
sadhana you wish to do.
Fourteenth, pratima is a specialkind of sadhana that you have
to go to the cemetery wherepeople they burn the dead body
or they bury it and whole night.
(01:19:50):
I want to meditate there andshe permitted him that, yes, you
can go.
He went there in the eveningand in that kind of sadhana
there is always up-sarga meansvery difficult situation can
(01:20:13):
happen.
Whoever do try to do that kindof special spiritual practices,
they have to stand in thecemetery and if somebody biting
it and snakes, any creatureattacking they cannot move.
(01:20:35):
And that is a very difficultsadhana.
And he got permission, eightyears old.
He went to the evening.
He went there and he isstanding in one posture it is
called kaya tsarga, when hedoesn't move, his space totally,
(01:21:00):
his mind, totally settled, notthinking anything.
He, his soul, began to moveinto the soul, real meditation,
how the karma get burned withinvery quickly and it is.
(01:21:21):
We collected those karma, likewe collected the wood whole year
.
We collected maybe whole of ourunlimited lives and how they
can get burned very quickly.
That is the example of GaiSukumar, this eight years old
(01:21:42):
boy.
He is standing there suddenlythe father of the daughter who
is collecting the wood from theforest, because the cemetery is
in the forest, usually out ofcity, and he is coming after
collecting and he saw him thathe is a covered man.
(01:22:09):
My daughter could be in theroyal family if he could have
married her and he is in outsnake.
I am going to teach him lessonNow.
My daughter cannot be princesanymore.
His animity started there.
(01:22:31):
He put the wood away.
There is nobody's son satalready, but people in the
cemetery.
They were burning the dead bodyand the dead body.
They burned it mostly and theembers were still there.
What he did?
He brought the clay little pondthere close by and he made
(01:22:58):
around his head bald head, nohair.
He made like a circle and theclay can stay there.
He made like a little wallaround the head.
And what he did?
I am going to teach him lesson.
(01:23:19):
He left my daughter.
He brought embers, burningembers, and he put in his hand
there and the embers cannot godown.
Now he filled up his head withthe ember.
(01:23:43):
They cannot fall down and thatis the biggest upsaar upsaar, I
mean most difficult situationand he ran away from there and
when the clay was there now itis dry.
Now the ember cannot fall down, even Because the more it was
(01:24:04):
wet, now it is dry and it isfully become like a wall around
his head.
It began to burn His head andhe is into the soul.
He is not into the body, he isnot into the mind, he is not
into the no thinking.
(01:24:24):
He is standing.
Total tolerance, total patience.
He is just thinking about youknow, it is my karma.
I cannot move.
There are lot of creaturesaround me, millions of them.
(01:24:46):
See, if the embers will go,they are biting me, very fine,
but they are going to get killed, millions of it.
They are around their houses.
He is standing totally steadyin the coyote circle.
He doesn't move his hand, hedoesn't move his body.
(01:25:07):
He is burning alive.
Can you believe how much painit will be?
Burning alive and totally inthe head.
He was in so deep into themeditative state, so deep, so
deep, so deep.
Those embers.
(01:25:28):
They burned all of his karmaright away.
His body fell down later on theground.
His soul went to the SiddhaLoka, merged with the God.
It became Siddha.
In the morning Krishna was somuch he was missing his younger
(01:25:52):
brother.
He went to.
Early morning he went to visitthe Tirthankara to the darshan.
He went, he went, he did thevandan to the Tirthankara and he
(01:26:13):
is looking here and there, thatvande when is.
I want to, I want to payrespect to my younger brother.
He is.
He said somebody helped him.
He is not here.
He achieved what he wanted toachieve.
(01:26:37):
Somebody helped him.
Yeah, somebody helped him.
He asked me permission to go tothe cemetery and I permitted
him and somebody, helper, cameand he achieved.
Already he is in the moksha, heis in the Siddha Loka.
(01:26:58):
That who was the helper?
Can you tell me?
Who was the helper?
Helper?
Helper is if when you gotowards that cemetery and
somebody on the way to see youand begin to run, that will be
(01:27:22):
the helper.
Krishna was so sad, he was tooattached to his younger brother
and on the top, eight years old,he went towards that the
cemetery to get the dead body.
(01:27:42):
And you know, but in themorning he woke up early in the
morning, the daughter's father, somila, and he wanted to make
sure he is dead, that ifotherwise I will be in trouble,
make sure there is no nothing.
(01:28:03):
Then suddenly, when he was sawit is, everything is okay.
He was coming back towards thecity and he saw on the other
side Krishna's horses, chariots, they are coming and he was
(01:28:24):
coming from the Tirthankara andSomila.
Thought he knows, now that Ikilled his brother he is going
to kill me now.
He started running so fast andKrishna got him Like
Garchakramma within maybe noteven 30 minutes.
(01:28:49):
He burned all of his infinitekarma.
Infinite karma.
But can we have that kind oftolerance?
We do one fasting, we getdisturbed, we do little thing.
We cannot stay without food.
(01:29:11):
Even we get so much disturbed.
Even the water, if we don't getit, many people die for it.
We can't burn that karma.
The fire can burn all the karma, but it has to be real fire of
(01:29:31):
meditation.
In kaya utsarga, we call it kayautsarga.
Kaya means body, utsarga meansyou leave the body, you are not
dead, but you don't haveanything in it.
No movement, no gestures, nospeech, no thinking inside,
(01:29:52):
nothing.
You are totally moving into thesoul.
When, totally moving into thesoul, that is the kalparamdhyam,
that is the meditation.
And people think meditation isvery easy as close eyes and just
do little bit.
That is not a meditation.
(01:30:12):
Your mind is wanderingsomewhere else.
Your body stops even littlemovement.
How can you be meditator.
Meditator was the best one.
If you want to go, go to thethird hill, he was the meditator
, bahubali.
He was standing one year inmeditative post.
(01:30:35):
He didn't drink, he didn't eatOne year.
Meditation is not easy.
To be awakened is not easy.
To be a Buddha is not easy.
To be a Shuddha is not easy.
To be a totally enlightened isnot easy.
You have to go through lot ofthings.
(01:30:57):
But meditation is the best pathyou can do and you can be even
few minutes if your bodymovement sensation, your beats
of your heart Even goes downtotally and your breath begin to
(01:31:21):
slow down.
When the situation comes, youare totally steady.
In that steadiness nothing ishappening except your soul will
pop up.
And your soul, when it's reallypop up, that meditation, real
(01:31:42):
meditation, that is the biggestfire.
It can burn all your karma.
That is the Perusion Message Iwas giving all the time how you
can achieve the highest state ofconsciousness.
There are many techniques.
I think I can talk about it somany examples.
But today is the last day ofthe Perusion and the first day
(01:32:07):
of the other tradition.
It is a day of forgiveness andthis day that's what I said
Usually after 15 days, you clearyourself if you have any
meeting.
If you cannot do it, do it oncea year at least.
(01:32:27):
Whomever towards you areholding graces or anything,
animity better clear fromyourself.
If other person is not ready, that is their business.
But you clear your mind fully.
You clear yourself fully.
(01:32:48):
Otherwise again and again andagain, animity will go on and
you cannot burn the karma.
Ask forgiveness, askingforgiveness is like burning the
karma.
So there is a.
I am going to repeat one linein the brief and you repeat it.
(01:33:10):
This way you can have this ideaKhamemi save jiva, save jiva,
khamantu me.
Miti me save bhuv esu.
(01:33:35):
Veram machham na ke nahi.
Khamemi save jiva.
I want forgiveness from everyliving being.
Khamemi save jiva means I askforgiveness from every single
(01:33:58):
living being.
Maybe I kill them knowingly orunknowingly, or just in my dream
or my physical body, or by mymind or by my speech I hurt
someone or kill someone or hurtsomebody's feeling.
(01:34:21):
Khamemi save jiva, I wantforgiveness.
I ask forgiveness from everyliving being.
Save jiva, khamantu me.
May all the living beings alsoforgive me.
Miti me save bhuv esu.
(01:34:42):
I want friendship towards everyliving being.
Miti means metri, metri meansfriendship.
I want friendship towards everyliving being Veram machham na
ke nahi.
I don't want any enmity orgrudges or holding anger towards
(01:35:03):
anyone.
That is the sutra of theforgiveness.
Or another one I am going torecite now.
Then you recite after that Jamjam manen badham.
(01:35:26):
Jam jam vayen bhasi anpavam.
Jam jam kaayen karam.
Jam jam manen badham.
(01:35:47):
Jam jam manen badham.
Whatever sin or karma Icollected by my mind.
Jam jam manen badham manenmeans mind Whatever I have
collected, the garbage, all thetrash, all this karma.
Jam jam vayen bhasi anpavam orwhatever I collected by my
(01:36:17):
speech, abusive language, badlanguage, calling bad name
someone.
By my speech, I heard someoneJam jam kaayen karam or whatever
I have done with my physicalbody to hurt someone, to kill
(01:36:38):
someone.
Jam jam manen badham.
Jam jam vayen Vayan means alsowith your speech, and jam jam
kaayen karam, whatever it is.
That's what I am going to do.
I want forgiveness from everysingle living being today and
(01:37:07):
may all of my, whatever Icollected, become useless,
because if you are really askingforgiveness, your soul will be
very pure.
And the sutra is the best sutrato ask forgiveness.
(01:37:31):
It means you are making Nobodyelse, you making pure, you
making pure yourself.
That is the message of today, day of forgiveness, ask
forgiveness from everyone.
If somebody doesn't want toforgive you, that isn't their
(01:37:51):
problem, their karma never goingto be burned.
But if you ask from your fully, from your mind, from your
speech, from your, body, whatever your gestures, that it
has to be Many people.
They say sorry.
They say sorry, but the waythey say sorry it doesn't mean
(01:38:14):
it is sorry.
If real sorry, their gestures, their body action, everything
involved in it, the other personthey will accept the sorry.
But saying sorry word itdoesn't mean anything.
I am going to give you lastlittle bit idea about it.
(01:38:39):
A sculptist, somebody, broughtto him two big stones, rocks.
They were sitting.
One day he got into mood tomake something sculpt out of it.
He put he took his hammer andchisel.
(01:39:03):
That's the way they used to do.
He start shaping the rock tobring the face in it, right,
beautiful.
So when it was doing it, therock spoke that I am in pain,
don't please hit me.
(01:39:25):
You are hitting, I feel pain.
He stopped.
Next day he was in the mood.
He went to the second rock.
He asked first, can I make goodshape out of you, because it is
a painful, but I want yourpermission.
(01:39:47):
Rock said okay, you can do it.
He started his hammer andchisel.
He made a beautiful shape ofGanesha, another statue.
Next day somebody, a rich man, came to buy his sculpture and he
(01:40:08):
saw this statue.
He said hey, we have a biginauguration over a temple.
We can.
This is a beautiful statue.
He bought it.
But he said I want to buy thisstone too which is sitting there
.
He sold both Statue.
(01:40:33):
They established into thetemple People worshipping it and
the stone.
He thought it is better putoutside of the temple Because it
is an Indian tradition, whenthey have some kind of new
beginning, they have a coconutand they heat the coconut and
(01:40:58):
they break it.
When they break the coconut infirst heat if it broke it is
considered good luck thateverybody come to feel full
their wishes into that templeand they bring coconut and they
worship that another rock andthat stone they heat.
Everybody comes and take.
(01:41:22):
He's begin to think that I couldhave allowed to make a statue
out of me.
Now I have to go through painall the time.
They are all breaking thecoconut on me, always hitting me
(01:41:44):
, always hitting me.
We have to learn this lesson inyour life.
We got hit again and again andagain.
Many difficulties, many problems, and we try to stop it.
(01:42:05):
We blame others, we do this, wedo that.
But if you don't go through anytrouble, if you don't go
through any struggle, if youdon't go through any difficulty,
time.
I guarantee nobody is going torespect you.
You want to be respected.
(01:42:26):
Let go through this life, through the struggle, through
the tension, through the stress, through the depression, through
the whatever difficulties onthe way.
But when you allow to gothrough, you become like a
statue in the temple.
But if you don't allow, you cry, you scream.
(01:42:48):
Stop it, stop it, stop it, Idon't want to go through it.
Then you go through all of yourlife.
They are going to break thecoconut on you.
Struggle could have been for awhile, you could have gone
through and learned from it.
But if you don't want to learnall of your life they are going
(01:43:16):
to hit you.
You are going to go through thepain.
Think about it.
That is the real message of thePerusion Perusion, the purest
celebration, and sammasari isthe ending day, day of
forgiveness.
How have you learned?
(01:43:39):
And go through and the personwho go through?
One day they become a specialextraordinary.
They become Siddha, buddha andMukta.
Siddha means liberated Buddha, awakened Mukta, totally released
(01:44:01):
from all the karma.
Jai Siddhatma.
