Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you want to use AI
to help you write ad copy.
But you've heard scary thingslike don't use AI because it's
really generic, the writing isbland, people will not even hear
your voice in it and it willbasically just suck.
Well, this episode is for youbecause I outline for you
exactly how you can use I useChatGPT.
(00:22):
You can use whatever you feellike to write copy, or hooks in
this case but you can apply thisto sales pages or emails.
The point is is that you canget copy that sounds like you
and that actually converts yourleads into sales or people who
are not yet involved with yourbusiness into leads.
This is my step-by-step processthat I outlined for a client,
(00:46):
and you can take the sameprocess and apply it like right
now, let's say within the nextday, in your business and it can
help you make good copy.
And I highly encourage you toclick down in the show notes
below so you can see thisepisode in the actual language
that I was putting on the chatGPT prompts so that you have a
(01:10):
better chance of replicatingwhat I've done, so that you can
get the same success that I'vehad and the client who I was
advising had.
I hope you enjoy it.
I will outline for you a way toleverage AI when you are
needing more ideas to test hooksor ad copy or anything.
In this case, I'll apply it tousing AI to help us generate
(01:31):
some hooks that make sense withthis current ad copy, and then
you can do it yourself, and thencontinue to do it anytime you
need to create anything that'swritten.
Ai is great, but unless you askit questions in the right way,
it will give you like verygeneric responses, and the more
info you give it, the better, and you can always modify this
(01:54):
process to get even betterresults.
But you can use this forwhatever you know creating
graphics, ad copy updating.
You know writing emails?
Okay.
So here we go.
This document's reallystraightforward.
Your task here, your challenge,is to create five new hooks.
Now here, since you haven'tmade the new hook yet, here's
(02:17):
what you can do to get AI.
If you're using Gemini, that'sfine.
Or Grok, it doesn't matter orChatGPT I use ChatGPT We'll get
back to the episode in a moment.
But hi, I'm Quajo, a Facebookand Instagram ads manager since
like 2019.
If you don't know me yet, it'smy desire, here on the Art of
(02:39):
Online Business podcast that you, as a course creator or
membership owner, would be ableto get all the tips and tricks
and strategies you need andFacebook and Instagram ad
strategies you need to scale upyour business from mid four to
five figure months to high sixfigure years.
You can leverage interviews offolks that I have on the podcast
(03:01):
who are successfully runningFacebook and Instagram ads in
their online course ormembership businesses, plus the
knowledge that I share, alongwith my wife, jamie, about
Facebook and Instagram ads, andeven very easygoing dinner table
type conversations around thetopic For example, how to make a
lead magnet that gets you leadsat a low cost and makes great
(03:22):
sales for your business where Iinvite people from different
backgrounds who all can speak tohow to do that, for example, it
could be me plus a salescopywriter plus a business coach
, just talking about one topic.
You'll get so much value out ofthis.
What I ask for in return isthat you actually follow or
subscribe to the podcast andtell me exactly the kind of
(03:47):
topics that I can make.
That would help you out themost by responding to a 60
second survey that is in theshow notes below.
All right back to the episode.
So here's the prompt.
We're going to be very clearthe context and the task of the
prompt and why we're doing itRight.
And then we go ahead and weprovide further method detail.
(04:13):
Now, this is key because I'm notjust asking AI to do it for me
blindly.
I want it to learn like wewould learn, and we would learn
either from taking a course orwatching a very informative, say
, youtube video.
And so I've had success bypasting in the transcript from a
(04:34):
YouTube video to sort of teachAI in a chat what I needed to do
.
So then, separately, I say thethings I'm going to give it and
then I tell it to ask me for itonce it's ready.
This kind of keeps AI from justjumping straight to the
response, you know.
So I'm going to give it thebest performing ad copy for
context, and I'm also asking itwhat type of specialist it
(04:58):
thinks it needs to act as to getthe best result.
Because AI can assume manydifferent specialist roles and
give you different results basedon what kind of specialist it
is going to be.
And, as a side note, if youwant even better results, you
can feed it emails, that you canfeed it sales emails and tell
(05:21):
it to learn the tone and style.
Actually, let me put that inhere.
I fed it some more detail.
I wrote five new hooks insteadof just new hooks.
I also added some extra righthere saying keep the ad copy
exactly the same.
You'll just be changing the topone or two sentences, the hook,
all right.
So I'm going to hit return hereand see what it says.
It has responded to me in a waythat lets me know it
(05:45):
understands and it's ready.
That's the key.
Is you got to ask it, to askyou things when it's ready, and
you can even write somethinglike explain to me back what I
said in a concise way.
You know.
So I know that you understandRight, and so now it understands
, and so I'm going to go andpaste the various things that it
(06:05):
wants and I'm going to tell itwhat I'm pasting each time.
So I've gone on YouTube and Ifound a video that I actually
watched and I agreed.
I watched this video and Iagree with his framework for
writing ads that attract wealth.
So underneath a video mostvideo, I think, all videos
nowadays if you scroll down andexpand the video description,
(06:27):
you should see transcript andshow transcript.
What you want to do is rightnow you can't actually copy the
transcript, so you have tohighlight a part of it and then
scroll way down to the bottomand do a shift click to
highlight everything.
Copy that, and we'll just sayso.
Now I told it.
(06:47):
Here's the YouTube videotranscript.
You know?
Let me know.
You understand what it is.
Oh, and I'm going to give youan additional transcript because
I just remembered we needadditional transcripts.
So I hit enter, see what it says.
Boom, in seconds it gets a coretakeaway and I noticed that
it's taking a lot away from therest of the video.
So I say something like becauseI wanted to focus on just the
(07:10):
ads portion, so I told it tojust focus on one certain
portion and to summarize thatportion.
And now it's summarized, thisad portion, and it should tell
me the next thing it wants me topaste.
Ah, right, so it's goingstraight to the ad copy, but I'm
gonna paste another transcript.
This is a video that I hadwatched before and I left off
here at the most recent time.
So I'm going to go down hereand expand and then go grab the
(07:34):
transcript and again copy thattranscript, ok, and ask ChatGPT
to learn from it.
So I just gave it thisclarification prompt and now
I'll paste the transcript.
Hit enter and see what it says.
It honed in exactly on the partof the video that I had enjoyed
previously, talking about thesimple hook formula.
(07:56):
So now it's asking me the bestperforming ad copy.
So I'm going to paste that.
So I pasted the ad copy and Itold it about the headline and
want some information about thebusiness.
Okay, now it summarizes, eventells me how to apply everything
, and so if you don't like whatyou see or if you think it needs
(08:17):
to be tweaked, just pretendlike AI is sitting next to you
and you're getting somethingfrom a human and you're like, eh
, you know, I would change this, this, this and that.
Go ahead and talk to it likethat.
Here's a hack.
By the way, if typing is notyour thing, then you can open up
the exact.
You know.
I can open up ChatGPT on myphone and look at the same
(08:39):
results, and then I can justtalk to it by hitting the mic
button on my phone here, but onmy phone, and I can dictate and
it can understand my naturallanguage.
Just fine, and then do the nextthings.
And frequently, because Iactually struggle at organizing
my thoughts, you know, so I'lljust ramble saying what I want
(08:59):
to say, but in the way that Inaturally would try to
communicate for like a minuteand then chat.
Gpt gives me amazing resultsbecause I set up my prompts like
this hey again, quickinterruption.
If you're running ads right nowand you need to learn how to
systematically lower the leadcost, then you want to get my ad
(09:19):
testing cheat code.
It's normally $37 discounted to$17 for you.
Read what I just received atthe time of the recording of
this video right now in myInstagram DMs.
It's from a lady and she saidin 2024, I was listening to
Quajo's podcast and heintroduced a beta round of his
(09:40):
new Facebook ads course.
I signed up immediately becauseI was working with a client,
through my role at Spectrum, whowas going to invest more in
digital ads and I wanted to makesure I was handling their
investment the best I could.
The results were incredible andlast night I won a gold award
(10:01):
for that ad campaign.
So cool, and thank you forsharing that with me, katie and
you, dear listener, I believeyou deserve to get better
quality leads at the lowest leadcost possible using the
framework that I use in everyclient account.
So head down to the show notesbelow and get that course, if
you're running ads right now, because it will help you out.
(10:24):
I've seen students in thecourse at least the ones who
have shared with me so far lowertheir lead costs from like down
by 25% and even up to 60, 60%.
And now back to the rest of theepisode.
And there we go.
Now we've got five hooks andit's asking me questions, like
(10:44):
if I would like a different kindof hook or maybe even AV
variations to test of above,right.
One more thing that I would addhere is just double check hey,
I can put this in my current adcopy, right?
I highly encourage you to gothrough this process to get
hooks.
Yes, you could just take thesehooks that I came with and now
(11:09):
add your own voice to it, right?
Like I believe in having like ahuman in the loop.
I never just take exactly whatAI gives me and then put it in
Like I always look at it,scrutinize it.
Is this how I would say it?
Does this sound too robotic?
Like do we use other words here?
Because I have a brand voice, you know, guide for my client
(11:29):
and this sort of thing, but ifyou feel like these work, you
could use them.
I highly encourage you to gothrough this process yourself,
because this is a process youcan use over and over again for
website copy, emails, instagram, like social media captions, and
(11:49):
the thing is is you might belike that took you a long time,
quajo.
I could have just looked at thead copy myself.
Sure, yeah, maybe you could.
But now that you've trained chatGPT in this chat, it will
remember everything, so you canjust simply say things like
based on what you just learnedand did for me.
Now I would like to get youknow Instagram captions.
(12:13):
What do you need to act as towrite good Instagram captions
for me, you know?
Or you can say I need an emailsequence that sells a service,
and here's an outline of theservice that we offer.
Can you get started writing mean email sequence and then boom,
it'll write you like and youcan tell it five emails and then
write you like five emails, youknow like you might need a blog
(12:36):
post or a one-off email.
Or you might say hey, this salespage isn't converting very well
and I've been tasked with, likeupdating the copy.
Can you look at the currentsales page and then, based on
what you learned in this chat, help me come up with some good,
(12:56):
you know, new sales pagestructure or new words like so
that's the thing.
Like this is one-time work, youknow, maybe it took me 10
minutes to do, but now it knowsabout the kind of like a bit,
your business, the kind of copyyou need, the kind of client you
have and you can just get somuch out of here to save you so
much time, because it'd be a lotquicker for you to just tweak
the results that it gives youfor, like a five email sales
(13:19):
sequence, or if you ask it for,to design like 10 different
Instagram carousels, you know, and even give you ideas for
images and pictures.
Like you can just go over thoseresults and you'll save tons of
time on the back end.
Thank you for listening to thispodcast episode and, again,
please take 60 to 90 seconds togo down to the show notes below
and respond to the podcastsurvey so I can know exactly the
(13:42):
kind of episodes I should getto work on that will help you
grow your business the most.

value from the podcast.
