In today's episode I'm joined by Erika Wise from BayviewU; BayviewU is an online church platform created as an extension of the Bayview Church's local ministry in San Diego. This platform exists to provide current Bayview members with a place to learn, grow, interact and develop relationships with other members in the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Erika tells us about
• How before BayviewU existed the church engagement was dwindling with its congregation and after the passing of their pastor his successor had the vision to connect all of their members through their own social network.
• How BayviewU utilises BuddyBoss to administer virtual Impact Groups where small sections of the congregation can get together in a more intimate space for Bible Study, Accountability, Prayer, and Fellowship
• How Zoom has allowed members of the Bayview family to take their relationship beyond sunday service and meet virtually wherever they are in the world
