The Doctor's Life

The Doctor's Life

The Doctor’s Life podcast features lively and candid discussions with fellow doctors and scientists on how to achieve success in clinical medicine and non-clinical careers while staying healthy in mind, body and spirit and living a rich, purposeful life. Your host, Dianne Ansari-Winn, MD, MPH is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and nationally recognized author, speaker, and coach. Dr. Dianne is known for her powerful and practical coaching, which she shares with her exclusive one-on-one physician clients. She is the founder of the Physician Vitality Institute, which has the mission of helping doctors to heal the world through being healthy in mind, body, and spirit. In 2011, 45% of U.S. physicians had at least one symptom of professional burnout, according to a study from the Department of Medicine Program on Physician Well-Being at Mayo Clinic. That number rose to 54% in 2014. At the Physician Vitality Institute, we work with doctors, help your doctors to rejuvenate themselves, create balance, and create vitality so they can give more to their patients and live the life they are dreaming about. We also create win-win environments for positive patient care and help to create solutions to create a supportive work environment to help relieve stress and burnout through systems that work.
