(00:00):
You weren't given thatbusiness idea by accident.
If God planted it in your heart, he'salready made a way forward to grow.
But let's be honest, it's hardto trust that when fear is
screaming louder than your faith.
Maybe you've been praying forclarity, waiting on confirmation.
Maybe you're asking God to show youexactly what to do next and still feeling
stuck if that's where you are today.
(00:23):
This episode is for you.
But here's a quick headsup before we dive in.
This is a faith-based episode, andI'm speaking directly to those who
identify as followers of Jesus Christ.
Not apologizing for that.
I just want to be clear that ifyou're a believer and you wanna build
your business with God, not justfor God, you're in the right place.
So let's talk about what it looks liketo trust God with your business idea
(00:45):
without letting fear take the wheel.
This episode is for you if you'veprayed about your business idea,
but fear still holds you back, ormaybe you feel torn between trusting
God's timing and taking bold action.
Or maybe you worry thatbuilding a business might
pull you away from your faith.
Or maybe you've been, you've toldyourself that if it's really from
(01:05):
God, it shouldn't feel this hard.
Or maybe you've been waitingfor more clarity, but what you
really need is more courage.
Well, by the end of this episode, myhope for you is that you'll know what
trusting God in business really means.
Not just spiritually but practically.
You'll be able to identify thesubtle ways that fear disguises
(01:26):
itself as wisdom or waiting on God.
Hopefully you'll walk awaywith three ways to move forward
in faith Field action today.
So lemme tell you about Monique.
She felt called to start a lifecoaching business for women.
Not because it was trendy, butbecause she felt a deep conviction
that God had equipped her to walkwith others and help them grow.
(01:49):
But every time she thoughtabout launching, she paused, I
don't wanna do this without God.
She said, I'm waitingfor the right moment.
She said, I wanna make sureit's his will, not mine.
I heard her say, butweeks turn into months.
And nothing moved.
When we talked, I asked her, what if obedience is the next
(02:10):
step, not the next answer.
That landed with her.
Monique realized that shewasn't waiting on God.
God was actually.
Probably waiting on her to move.
So she prayed, got clear on her offer.
She talked to her pastor and somepeople in her gospel community.
She reached out to three peoplethat she felt called to serve,
(02:30):
and within 30 days she had twoclients and a deeper sense of peace.
Obedience isn't always loud.
Sometimes it's just showing up with.
What you have and trusting thatGod will meet you in the motion.
So here are three truths to trustGod without letting fear lead.
And these are the three truthsthat I've learned through scripture
(02:53):
experience and coaching hundredsof faith-driven entrepreneurs.
Number one is obediencecomes before outcome.
In Hebrews 11, eight, it says, byFaith Abraham when called obeyed and
went and even though he did not knowwhere he was going, that's the call.
You don't have to know every step.
(03:13):
You just have to say yes to this one.
So stop waiting for clarity to feel safe.
Start treating obedience likeit's enough because it is.
Number two is fear often hidesbehind spiritual language.
Sometimes we say, I'm waiting on the Lord.
But really we're avoiding risk.
We say, I'm praying about it, butwe're using prayer as a delay tactic.
(03:38):
Look, prayer is essential.
Don't hear me not say that prayeris essential, but faith requires
action as James two 17 says.
So also, faith by itself, if it doesnot have works is dead real talk.
Delayed obedience is disobedience.
Three.
(03:58):
God honors movement, especially when it's messy.
Psalms 20 37 23 says The stepsof a man are established by the
Lord when he delights in his way.
Steps not standstills.
God directs the ones who walk, not the ones who wait endlessly.
This doesn't mean that you act recklessly.
(04:20):
I'm not saying that it meansthat you move prayerfully one
step, intentional step at a time.
So let's talk about thedriven pillar of inspiration.
Inspiration isn't hype.
It's not a motivationalquote on Instagram.
Inspiration is divine alignment.
It's remembering who sent you and whyyou started and who you are sent to
(04:42):
serve as a Christian entrepreneur.
Your why isn't just freedom orincome, it's obedience, it's
stewardship, it's faith in action.

and you start leading with peace.
