Chris Barker and Nida Rinthapol are the definition of "educated investors" Chris was a practicing attorney, and Nida a Phd data scientist before they owned their first rental. By happenstance Nida's first purchase was from an investor that later became their mentor on working with clients that needed subsidized housing. With their mentor's help they went on the journey of navigating the world of subsidized housing, and found a business model that allowed them to do well by doing good. Their tenants have been from some of the most vulnerable and underserved populations in the city, while Chris and Nida prided themselves on providing their tenants with clean, safe, respectable homes to live in.
