In today’s episode, just in time for Halloween, I interview Paul Wyld about his newly released book,  "Jim Morrison: Secret Teacher of the Occult. A Journey to the Other Side."  

In this episode, we talk about the creative, visionary expansion through a man’s music and films.  While he was also one who explored mind-expanding substances, hemp, psychedelics, and LSD we focus more on this breaking the norm and how he used his poetry to express the mystical teachings of the occult.  As Paul explains, Jim had a reputation as a lewd, drunken performer, but he acutally was a full-fledged mystical, shamanic figure, a secret teacher of the occult who was not merely central to the development of rock music, but to the growth of the Western esoteric tradition as a whole.
