November 20, 2025: Michigan State is resuming their long defunct matchup against University of Detroit - Mercy now that former MSU player and assistant coach, Mark Montgomery, is at the helm of the Titans. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, his struggling team will take on the Spartans after they have beaten another top 25 team and perennial power, Kentucky in the Champions Classic.
Now MSU has to navigate coming down from the high of that win and face a clearly inferior opponent. They will look to continue their shooting momentum and work on their game like the break and free throw shooting. We also expect that the staff will try to get some meaningful time for the reserves to hone their game as well.
