Sharon and I first met in the mid-2000s through homeschooling our boys and a business endeavor she had launched. Life took us on different journeys, but our shared love for Jesus and the creative community brought us back together. Today, Sharon is the founder of Blooming Bean Coffee Roasters, a company with a mission to support anti-sex trafficking efforts. She is also the co-host of This Beautiful Ugly: Still Here, Now What?, a podcast she created after the loss of her husband to cancer.

Through her personal journey of loss and healing, she has made it her mission to help other women find their way to wholeness. As the founder of Blooming Bean Coffee Roasters, she supports anti-sex trafficking organizations while using her platform to educate, train, and serve at-risk youth.

Her podcast, This Beautiful Ugly: Still Here, Now What?, provides a space for healing, connection, and the redemptive power of God’s love. Sharon’s story reminds us that even in the ugliest seasons of life, beauty can still be found.
