Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing.
Genuine issues. Brought to you by The
Hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities CE OS and even
royalty Adam Cox, these recordings took place live from
Evans Clinic in London's world famous Harley Street.
(00:29):
So get yourself comfortable and enjoy today's episode of The
Hypnotist. Hi, it's Adam here and you're
about to listen to a hypnosis session all about digestive
health. And I was working with a client
that felt they had many symptomsthat related to IBS, so
(00:53):
irritable bowel syndrome. They didn't have pain, but they
had a lot of turbulence and a lot of discomfort and they
didn't want that feeling. But also because they had that
feeling, they were making the assessment that certain things
that they used to like to do, like socializing and swimming,
they couldn't do. And that becomes a bit of a self
(01:13):
fulfilling prophecy. So in this hypnosis session, you
could be listening to two main things.
One suggestions designed to restand digest to alleviate symptoms
in the digestive system, and thesecond is to encourage to
increase and expand the comfort zone.
(01:33):
Because. If people avoid doing things
because they feel uncomfortable,it takes less and less to create
that same level of discomfort. The opposite is.
Also true when you go beyond thecomfort zone it then requires
more to create the same level ofdiscomfort.
And your world. Gets bigger.
So if either of those things aretrue for you.
(01:54):
So you either have digestive issues and bowel issues, or
you're feeling like your world is getting smaller, then you
will benefit from this session. Some of the suggestions are
going to be very specific to theclient that I was working with,
in which case just ignore any suggestions that aren't relevant
to you. And at the same time, I'm
(02:15):
getting feedback from people on messages and comments that they
would just rather listen to the hypnosis session rather than my
intro explanation and the outro that comes at the end.
And if that sounds like you, then there will also be a link
in the description where you cansubscribe to get the hypnosis
only versions of my hypnosis sessions.
(02:37):
So if that feels like it would be beneficial, then you can
check out that link. Now the cost of that, by the
way, is the same cost as half the price of just getting a
download that I sell on my Shopify store.
So for half the price of one session you just get unlimited
access every month to all of my hypnosis only sessions.
So if that sounds of interest. Then check that out.
(03:00):
For now, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
(03:26):
Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
resourceful feeling of calm and relaxation.
And as you exhale, feel a wonderful feeling of release, as
(03:51):
if tension, stress, or worries. It's starting to leave your body
in your outward breath. And when you breathe in, breathe
in for longer. And as you exhale, just allow
(04:13):
that outward breath to just let go, to enable you to feel that
feeling of release. Thoughts, worries, stress,
anxiety. Just imagine it melting away and
(04:37):
leaving your body. And notice your eyelids getting
heavier. And with your eyes closed,
notice how easy it is to focus on the sound of my voice taking
(04:58):
you deeper and deeper. Relaxed.
That's it. And I wonder if you could
imagine breathing in pure, healing white light.
Imagine breathing in through your nose, feeling that healing
(05:22):
white light going alongside yoursinuses, down into your lungs.
And just imagine that healing white light going down into your
gut as you exhale. Just imagine a dark shadowy
(05:49):
colour leaving your body and allow that to represent any pent
up stress, anxiety and worries as you imagine breathing in pure
white light that is healing and releasing any emotions that
(06:11):
could be making you feel tired or down.
And the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become.
And the more relaxed you become the deeper you breathe.
Each breath takes you deeper anddeeper than the last.
(06:37):
That's it. And as your physical body
relaxes, your imagination awakens, and I wonder if you can
imagine what it would be like tokeep your physical body where it
is and allow your imagination tobe on a sandy beach in Portugal.
(07:08):
I want you to imagine blue skies, sunshine, imagine rough
turbulent waves, and just imagine a lounger there beneath
some shade, perhaps a beach umbrella.
(07:33):
And I wonder if you could imagine lying on that lounger
looking out at the sea. And I want you to see those big
turbulent waves, the rough seas. And I want you to imagine that
that's what it feels inside sometimes turbulent, restless,
(07:58):
volatile. But as you continue to breathe
in, then healing white light allthe way down into your gut, I
wonder if you could imagine those rough, turbulent seas
starting to calm. And as the seas calm, I want you
(08:24):
to feel that you are training your body and brain and your
intuition how to calm your nervous system.
And even if the sea isn't like that, in your imagination it can
be. Imagine those turbulent rough
(08:47):
seas becoming calm and relaxing and at rest.
And as you imagine yourself on the lounger looking out at the
now calm sea, I wonder if you can imagine what it would be
(09:10):
like to let go even more. Imagine just placing your feet
slightly in the sand. Just feel that soothing
heaviness pulling you deeper anddeeper into comfort, into ease,
(09:34):
into relaxation. I want you to notice the colour
and all the different shades of colours of the water, and it may
change depending on the sunshineand clouds, but maybe you notice
(09:57):
deep Blues, turquoise, the sunlight shimmering off the
surface in golden fragments, andeven the sound.
Because even calm waters have regular waves, and every sound
(10:23):
of those waves brings you further into peace.
Like the whole world is breathing with you.
Slow, steady, calm, and just imagine what it would feel like
(10:44):
to turn down the dial of all of these intense emotions.
Dial down anxiety, dial down stress, and feel how you would
feel if you've been relaxing on that beach for more than a week,
(11:06):
refreshed, recharged, and feeling reinvigorated.
And as you drift, I want you to imagine your body as an
orchestra, and each instrument is a system.
(11:32):
Your digestion, your breathing, your heart and your mind.
Maybe sometimes it feels like when something stressful
happens, or the possibility of something not going to plan.
(11:53):
The instruments play to their own rhythm.
The violin's faster than the piano, other instruments loud,
others soft, and if it feels sometimes that your body is out
of sync, just let me know by nodding your head.
(12:17):
That's it. Just like all the instruments
beginning to play at different tempos, out of time, out of
tune. But I want you to feel what it
would feel if you were both the listener and the conductor.
(12:42):
And now just imagine recalibrating that orchestra,
bringing the instruments together in harmony, your breath
steady, your gut calm, your whole body falling into rhythm,
(13:07):
balance and ease. And you can still hear the
breaking waves. And with every wave upon the
shore, the music becomes smoother, more fluid, more
(13:32):
graceful, and your body respondswith a perfect balance of calm
and flow. And sometimes, as it always
does, a thought can appear, a worry, a sensation.
(13:59):
And you can allow yourself to notice that these thoughts are
very similar to clouds passing across the sky of that
Portuguese beach. And you are not the clouds, you
(14:20):
are the wide, endless sky. The thoughts move across and
then they move on. And I want you to feel that just
because you think a thought doesn't mean you have to feel a
sensation. As you become the observer, you
(14:43):
can think of thought and allow it to float on by.
And every time you release a cloud, the sky becomes brighter
and you feel lighter, freer, more spacious within.
(15:05):
And even if a cloud of discomfort arrives, you know how
to release it. And with each release, you
return calmer than before. And just imagine really enjoying
(15:27):
resting on that beach. And I want you to imagine
someone has surrounded your lounger with a big rope circle.
And just imagine that if you tryto leave that lounger and
(15:51):
approach the rope, if you felt discomfort, unsettled, or
anxious, you might return from the edge of the rope back to
your lounger. You could just imagine if every
time you refuse to pass the threshold of the rope circle,
(16:18):
the circle got smaller and smaller.
It wouldn't take long until you're trapped.
They're on the lounger and you would be limited.
But I want you to get a feeling then.
(16:38):
You feel. Inspired, motivated, courageous,
so that even if you don't feel like it, you have an
irresistible urge to go beyond the rope circle.
(16:59):
And every time you go beyond, the circle expands and gets
wider, and everything within thecircle feels comfortable, and
everything outside the circle can feel unsettling.
And when you think of it that way, avoiding the edge of your
(17:26):
circle just means that more things feel like it would
provoke anxiety, discomfort, anda physical reaction in your
body. And therefore it's.
Obvious what to? Do to feel a desire to expand
(17:49):
your circle. I want you to think of a time
when you were swimming regularlyand realise that that right now
might be outside of your circle. We're socializing more often,
we're doing more speeches, more meetings, more pitches.
(18:17):
I want you to feel that the verycomfort that you desire is not
within the circle. It comes from expanding the
circle. And every time you step into
something new, your circle expands.
(18:41):
And every time you do something that you used to do and not
doing, the circle expands. It doesn't shrink, it only
grows. And I want you to feel how
wonderful it would feel. But by expanding the circle,
(19:06):
your physical body adapts. Because why not make that circle
so big? Everything feels doable, nothing
feels daunting, and then your body will feel safe and feel
comfortable no matter what is going on.
(19:33):
As you start to think about all of your accomplishments and
achievements, you're reminded just how resourceful you are.
You've taken risks, you've done difficult things, and therefore
let's reawaken those resources and those skills to feel a
(19:57):
desire. To act as if you have the very
health, vitality and enthusiasm that you desire.
And by acting that way, your circle expands and you feel
exactly as you would want to feel.
(20:25):
And now imagine, in the days andweeks ahead, what it would be
like to see that future version of you swimming.
And maybe you see yourself swimming a different stroke, or
in a different pool at a different time of day, or at a
(20:48):
slower pace. It doesn't matter.
What matters is you see yourselfdoing something that gives you
joy, mobility and fitness and feels good.
(21:09):
See yourself swimming, your bodymoving freely, strong, capable
and calm. And then imagine yourself
meeting up with someone you haven't seen for a while.
See yourself in those social situations, but not with the
(21:33):
face of discomfort or angst. See yourself smiling, confident,
excited for the future. And I want you to imagine what
your business may look like a few months from now, your health
(21:57):
restored and there is a new passion, a new level of
enthusiasm. Something has changed to make
you feel it's something you wantto do.
Or perhaps you're in the processof selling that business and you
(22:20):
feel excited. Excited about the change in your
role and perhaps the future freedom you will enjoy.
But I want you to see yourself thriving, not merely surviving.
(22:41):
Leaning in to those things that felt daunting.
See yourself looking optimistic and revitalized.
And when you see that future version of you more active, a
new lease of life, energized, let me know by nodding your
(23:06):
head. And then step into that future
version of you like you're trying on new clothes in a
fitting room. And notice how that future
version of you feels remarkably similar to how you have felt in
(23:27):
the past as we reawaken all of those neural pathways that know
exactly how to feel that way. And I want you to get a sense
that all that's different is what you focus on, what
(23:48):
evaluations you make, and the desire to expand your circle
rather than inadvertently contracted as you return back to
that beach. The circle is so wide now.
(24:11):
It's beyond the beach. And I want you to have that
sense of freedom, liberation andenthusiasm as you imagine
swimming in the now calm waters, feeling that your body is
aligned, recalibrated like a Symphony, all playing in perfect
(24:37):
harmony. But it's time to leave this
beach. But you return with all of these
new thoughts, ideas, emotions, and recalibrations, realizing
that this has been a journey in your imagination, a journey of
(24:59):
thoughts within thoughts, ideas within ideas, and dreams within
dreams. So take a deep breath in through
your nose and out through your nose.
Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes as you connect
and calibrate into the here and now as I now count from 1:00 to
(25:23):
10:00 to awaken you starting to count 123 waking up 456 more
alert 7-8 open your eyes, open your eyes, 910.
Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
