Does The Wedding Banquet Work as a Queer Comedy?

Have you heard of the queer dramedy The Wedding Banquet? Kat and Morgan managed to see the queer dramedy starring Bowen Yang, Kelly Marie Tran, Lily Gladstone and Han Gi-Chan during it's VERY short run. We talk about what worked for us, what didn't, and what we thought about that twist. Was one of the characters in a comedy and another in a drama? Is bird watching a real job? We dive into all these questions and more. Plus, we discuss how the release schedule for this movie did it no favors and how studios need to better support queer movies so we can get more of them.
