Melanie McNally, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Destination You, a boutique mental wellness service designed to help Gen Zers step into a version of themselves that is aligned with their values and goals.

It’s personal development + life coaching + cheerleading + accountability to help your tween, teen, or young adult discover who they truly are. Dr. McNally uses her 16 years of experience working in the mental health field and 9 years working specifically with tweens, teens, and young adults to develop programs and create curriculum that help build self-confidence, set goals, and promote mental wellness.

She’s created an experience that will promote mental well-being and help Gen Zers feel energized, invigorated, and excited about their lives.

In this episode we discuss:

  • How she helps Gen Zers identify and reach their goals and how parents can support them through this process.
  • Her transition from psychology to life coaching and how life coaching is different from therapy.
  • The misconceptions of Gen Zers.
  • The negative impact of social media and cellphones on Gen Zers and their mental health.
  • Impactful ways to connect with your Gen Zer.
