Greg Holder joins Michelle to discuss a new free, online training called Foundations: Building the Safest Dental Visit to help raise awareness of the importance of infection prevention and control year-round. The CDC is partnering with OSAP to increase the reach and utility of this training, and rolling it out during Dental Infection Control Awareness Month is an added bonus! OSAP will provide free dental continuing education credit hours for learners who complete the Foundations training.
Greg Holder serves as a Policy Analyst at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in the Division of Oral Health, where he analyzes state and local legislation and other health policy to determine its impact on oral health, the use of infection prevention guidelines, and responds to public inquiries.
