As Old Mrs. Moody sits at her window watching a thunderstorm roll by, she spots a tiny kitten under a tree in her backyard—caught out in the rain!
Catbaloo comes at once to help Mrs. Moody rescue the kitten. They dry the kitten's fur, feed her a bowl of warm milk, and make her a soft cozy bed by the fire. They even name their new baby, Puff.
But when there is a knock at the door and it's a neighbor looking for her lost kitten, how will Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo react? Can they let Puff go back to her real home?
