Access to affordable youth sports in our communities is not only important to maintain, but it's disappearing in communities across the US. The volunteers keeping these programs affordable are getting burned out and reinforcements seem harder to find. The inevitable result is 10x cost as paid staff are brought in to do what volunteers can't do with so few participating. 10x the cost means a large number of kids - even more than are left out today - will no longer have access to youth sports.
