Let's start at the very beginning. Look at Julie Andrews on the show. One, two, one, two, ready, kick it. It was more than time for Tom and Mickey to dive into the podcast world. I'm very happy to be back in this apartment. Cheers. Cheers.
What we'd like to do is welcome you into our world. It's a little bit business, it's a little bit of music, it's a little bit Broadway. Another spectacular evening at Carnegie Hall. What did you see? We saw you. Those are the things that actually drew us together the very first night we met. You always make up stories.
This one's true. I introduced you both and now you're still together after how many years? 17? 17 years. We have two mantras we live by. One, fun is the best thing to have. You can't show this tape.
Trash this, this is down and away. If we go on, I need a fucking drink. And the other, everything is showbiz. The angel and devil were sitting on either shoulder. And the devil just said, "You have no idea what you're doing." And the angel's like, "Be here now, stay in the moment, stay in the moment." In our personal lives, everything is showbiz. In our professional lives, we sell real estate. That's what we do all day every day. You're selling a property, lights, cameras, action.
You know, it's just a special thing. New York, they're just characters, colorful people.
Straighten you out in two seconds. I'm the only person on the planet who went from being on a hit television show for years to going on tour with Tina Turner. I mean, baby, I got to go along. Think of this as like a really energetic, electrified dinner party. Like, it's almost like a spiritual belief that you could change your stars, that you can make anything possible. With our work, it's about the concept of taking what is urban living and taking it the next step. And I think that our practice has been about home. It's what really is the next chapter of what everyone wants in their soul. It's not exactly what you might expect. Tell me what you think so you find your opinion.
