Please take a moment to listen to this episode about reconciliation and conflict resolution. Recording it was balm for my soul, and I hope it will be for yours too.

In this week’s conversation, I have the pleasure of introducing you to a dear friend and fellow medicine man, Ramsay Boly. As you’ll experience, Ramsay has a strikingly peaceful presence and possesses the rare being of open-hearted warriorship. He is pure leadership – at least the kind that I can get behind!

Since I met Ramsay 3 and a half years ago, I have been inspired by the way he lives his life, thinking carefully and deeply about things and putting his money where his mouth is. In addition to being a father, an avid meditator, and a certified Diviner by the Dagara tradition, Ramsay has also spent the better part of his life preparing for and studying the art of conflict resolution, mediation, and peace-making.

In this episode, we go deeper into:

  • What is restorative justice?
  • What are some of the core elements of mediation?
  • What gets in the way of successful mediations?
  • What are some of the indigenous perspectives that underpin the way Ramsay approaches mediation?
  • Why is the indigenous perspective important at this time?
  • What is the importance of conflict?
  • And much more!

I’m honored and truly privileged to be able to drop an episode like this in these times we’re living in. At the end of this conversation, I felt happy to be alive and a co-creator of humanity’s story.

Many of us are faced with seemingly impossible questions right now. How do we keep our hearts open? This episode addressed some of the deepest questions in my life at this moment.

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
