- Mistake #1: Not teaching a system. This means that if you're a new coach and you're not quite sure of your target market or your niche, you may end up stretching yourself too thin. And when you do, you end up being mediocre at all the things you're trying to teach.
- What does it mean to teach a system and why should you do it?
- Teaching a system is finding that one piece that you teach over and over again, that you become an expert at and that you become known for. And because you teach that one piece over and over again, you become a better coach and a better teacher as well.
- When you teach a system, it could easily turn into a course or a group program. And if each step in the system leads to a measurable result, you can even see about dividing those steps into their own paid program. As a result, you can earn more.
- When you teach a system, you will find that promoting a system is so much easier than promoting yourself. And the longer that a client works with you, say in a 6-month system, the better results they're going to get and the deeper their transformation.
- Mistake #2: Depending solely on other people's Facebook groups. Leveraging other admins' Facebook groups is a wonderful strategy when you're testing the waters and trying to figure out your niche. But making this as your long-term strategy would be a mistake because it's not scalable.
- Mistake #3: Giving away too much content. Don't overwhelm your audience with too much detail but be strategic about all the content you're giving away.
