Are you new in business and still struggling to get some traction? Listen in as I team up with my friend and business associate, Emily Elizabeth, to interview the awesome Auguste Crenshaw who shares 3 strategies that will get you on the right track with your business.

In this episode you will learn:

  • What do people in business find the most difficult and why? According to Auguste, what people find the most difficult is to get a traction. And the reason why they can't attract people is that they don't realize that they are the unique identifying factor of their business.

  • What are the keys to success?

  1. Have a clear focus. Without a shadow of a doubt, you need to know what you're supposed to do. And you have to have the ability to forgive yourself if you have to tweak that plan, but you have to commit to something.
  2. Do mindset work. You have to understand that if you want to thrive in the entrepreneur arena, you need to realize that you have to come to terms with who you are. Look at who you are, spiritually, personally, and professionally because they're all connected. And you have to be intentional about revamping your mind.
  3. Respect where you are. Even if that means there's a lot more trial and error that you can't prevent from hiring a coach, still you get out there and you stay the course.

  • What simple things can you do right away to get started?

  1. Take a little bit of time to get clarity and know without a shadow of a doubt what you're supposed to do. Put a pen to paper and ask yourself these questions: Why do I want to do this? How would I feel if I didn't do it anymore? Have I been doing this for free all my life and I just didn't realize it?
  2. Pick the platform where it appears that you will get the highest level of traction, and focus on it. Get out there, share your message and your story in uncensored,  girlfriend terminology and people will come to you.

  • What are some of the challenges that stop people from taking action?

  1. They're afraid of going live. They're afraid to show up and tell their story. Why? Because wrapped up inside of your story is other people. People who have hurt you, who didn't believe in you, who won't support you, that you're afraid will judge you.
  2. They're afraid of running out of content. But you have press on and get out there and get noticed, otherwise, you won't get anything.

  • Why do you have to repurpose your content? You need people's attention, and once you have it, you need to say things over and over again to get your message across. You have to keep embedding it in people's minds and you have to stay on top of their minds so that they know why you're there.
  • What results can you expect by putting these strategies into practice? It depends because there are a lot of variables that go along with it. But if you can really be consistent, laser-focused, and willing to do the call to actions and do the mindset work and all the things that we've talked about in this podcast, you can lock in clients easily and see a significant change in your business within 30 days to six months.
